We drove from Sharm for almost 4 hours with stops at other hotels, we took this hotel because of its proximity to Israel. The hotel is good, the rooms are basic egyptian style bungalows. The sea is shallow at low tides, you can walk on the water when the tides are neck deep, but this does not interfere with a good swim, the entrance is gentle.

The sea is shallow at low tides, you can walk on the water when the tides are neck deep, but this does not interfere with a good swim, the entrance is gentle. There are many pools on the territory (more than 6), there is a jacuzzi, many Israelis with their families. From entertainment - a rather weak evening show program. The food is average, as in most Egyptian hotels. Upon arrival, I had a friend - so in the evening the chef and the team brought out a cake to the fanfare and sang congratulations, it was nice - thank you very much! We took a 2-day tour to Israel-Palestine, liked it, but be prepared for +42c. In general, I recommend the hotel to those who want to visit Israel on a tour of holy places, or love Taboo, in another case, it is better to choose Sharm or Hurghada.

Some VALUABLE INFORMATION that we never learned before the trip. - we did not notice the consequences of the flood in 2014 in our hotel. Some VALUABLE INFORMATION that we never learned before the trip.
- we did not notice the consequences of the flood in 2014 in our hotel. We saw one hotel that was being renovated and one that was closed due to subsidence.
- hotels are located on the first line and you can move freely between them. We often walked along the promenade. Went to see other hotels.
- Beautiful unusual mountains. There is even a place to go. Here is some video https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=IWLqRw3ZoU0
- The city of Taba itself does not exist. So going to the "old city" or to a cool disco is not an option.
TRIP TO ISRAEL. The cost of a trip to Israel in all hotels was slightly different. If you are traveling as a couple, I recommend going to other hotels. Ask around for prices from vacationers (preferably grandmothers))) and save a lot of money on cosmetics and souvenirs. There is also a question about a one-day or two-day trip. The cost is different. The filling is the same. It's just that the speed is different.
Before the trip, you need to prepare. Stock up on water and food in advance. A dry ration about which you will be told a lot will turn out to be ridiculous. On the trip, you will want to drink and eat, spend extra money. I also recommend taking towels and shower soap after swimming in the Dead Sea. We didn't have much time. About an hour. Not enough for swimming and shopping. Do everything at your pace.
On the trip itself, I do not recommend buying in stores that the accompanying guide leads to. Twenty meters to the left or to the right and you buy the same goods not for 5 dollars, but for 5 shekels. Four times cheaper.
I recommend that you bring everything you want to dedicate with you or buy at a hotel in Taba. Since both in Israel and in Palestine the prices for church krum will be very different from the Egyptian ones. But the choice is yours. Here is also a video https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=Y2tFccVYXZU
TRIP TO JORDAN (to Petra). It didn't materialize for us. Why? She turned out to be very expensive. Since they go there from Taba at the crossing, the cost is 240 dollars. for one it seemed to us big. I remember how it was possible to fly from Sharm by plane for 100. Therefore, we decided to postpone the visit to Petra))
In general, everything that I remembered - I wrote. Maybe someone will come in handy! Good luck everyone!

If there is heaven on earth, it is there. The most wonderful holiday in 20 years. Now in order: The room is large, with a view of Jordan, slept very well under the sound of the sea. If there is heaven on earth, it is there.
The most wonderful holiday in 20 years.
Now in order:
The room is large, with a view of Jordan, slept very well under the sound of the sea. We were cleaned every day, towels were changed every day, and when, one day, I returned after school hours and found the "maid" in the room, I was pleasantly surprised by his intelligence - a student from Cairo - knowledge of languages, friendliness, etc. I was even more surprised when, after 15 minutes of communication and a purely symbolic tip, I returned to the room after dinner to find a sterile clean bed decorated with flowers.
You can talk about the friendliness of the staff for hours, I just want to note that my two-year-old daughter became a universal favorite there, there was not a single waiter or clerk who did not have a gift or treat in her pocket...
Much has been said about the sea, and I do not want to repeat myself - I would sit for hours in a mask and look at the underwater world.
There are many pools, different, conveniently located, so with the huge area of the hotel there is always a pool nearby, a lot of sunbeds, very clean.
There is a group of animators, 3 boys and a girl, it feels like they start at 8 and finish at 2-3 at night. Already at 8 they call everyone in broken Russian for a "zaradka", during the day all kinds of games and activities, after dinner some kind of folklore or dance show under the smoke of a hookah, dancing for children, after 10 in a rock disco bar for adults.
It’s very hard for me to get along with people, but all the guests were so wonderful that in a couple of days I became friends with 2 married couples, and now, as in a “field of miracles”, I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to Valera and Ira from Peter and Alyosha and Ira from Moscow.
The food is a little monotonous, but no one was hungry, and the bars by the pools and on the sea were also a place of communication - they drank, talked.
We will definitely return.

Were in Egypt for the first time. Chose this hotel based on reviews for a relaxing stay. There are two downsides in my opinion. The first is the road from Sharm El Sheikh Airport. The distance of the hotel is 240 km. Therefore, be prepared for a 4-hour trip with one stop at some incomprehensible roofing felts shop, roofing felts cafe, where going to the toilet is $ 1, or you need to buy something there, and the prices there are not cheap.

Therefore, be prepared for a 4-hour trip with one stop at some incomprehensible roofing felts shop, roofing felts cafe, where going to the toilet is $ 1, or you need to buy something there, and the prices there are not cheap. We arrived at the hotel after dinner, so they won’t feed you anymore, only sandwiches in the hotel lobby at 23.30, but you need to catch them, there are many who want))).
Settled quickly, the room is good, even better than with a sea view. Cleaned every day, towels changed every day, but the bedding was never changed.
I liked the kitchen, the abundance of meat products, vegetables in all forms, pastries are just awesome, but there were few fresh fruits. Alcohol is quite decent, but my husband and I are not heavy drinkers, so it suited us.
They have such little tricks: someone's card is demagnetized, someone's air conditioner stops working, or hot water disappears, etc. All in order for the staff to earn extra tips in this way. If you leave a tip in the room for cleaning - swans, etc. wind up, without a tip they are not creative))))
The staff is friendly, but they are more loyal if you speak English with them, it is harder with Russian.
The second minus - I would like more cleanliness on the territory of the hotel itself, everything is not critical, but I personally would like it.
In general, I liked the rest. Quiet, a large green area, the buildings are well located, so you only intersect with vacationers in a restaurant, unobtrusive animators, a quiet relaxing holiday.
I recommend the hotel for a holiday without children, the children are really bored there.
About the Internet. Internet is paid and expensive. Wi-Fi for half an hour - $ 6, or in the room for a day - $ 23. Roaming was much cheaper for us.
Well, the sea, the beach and the sun - it's beyond comparison.
Have a nice holiday everyone!

Towels are changed every three days, bedding every five days. The restaurant. . . It's hard to call it a restaurant in terms of the quality of the food and the table setting and service. Tourists from the hinterland of Russia also contribute to the chaos. The pools are beautiful, but you can't get there before 10 am - they clean them up. The beach is large in duration, but poorly equipped. The entrance to the sea is surrounded by a barrier, i. e. prohibited. there are two pontoons, but it is far from the beach and there are not enough umbrellas and sunbeds. In addition, the complete absence of toilets, showers and a bar. In general, a "wild" beach. Its highlight for a 5 * hotel. If you do not attach any importance to this, then the rest is quite decent, it is a pity that the price is for a 5 * hotel. And one more thing - the SPA center is very good and the price is acceptable.

Went on vacation with a friend for 2 weeks. For a long time they could not choose where to go, and after reading numerous reviews, they chose the quiet city of Taba, which is located in Egypt, to relax. I really wanted to relax in a quiet and peaceful place, so that there would be no traffic noise and city bustle around. We arrived at the hotel in the morning. The hotel was called Taba Heights. We were met at the airport, taken to the hotel and quickly placed in our rooms. Liked the accommodation and food. Everything is fast and organized. The buffet was very varied, even seafood was of very decent quality. You can dine in one of the 4 restaurants or have a bite to eat outside. We especially liked to sit at the table in the evening and admire the night lights of Jordan. In the evening, the hotel is beautiful, a lot of bright illumination and highlights, a warm breeze blows and it's nice to walk around the hotel. We lived in a bungalow. In general, all rooms in the hotel are located in bungalows. Not to say that the room is very chic, but everything is clean and comfortable. Towels are changed, garbage is removed - and okay. In general, the hotel staff was pleased with the friendliness and attentiveness. . No one bothered or rude. In addition to us, Poles and Germans rested in the hotel. There were no noisy companies, which made us very happy. We enjoyed the peace and quiet by the sea. The sea is very clean, you can watch colorful fish for hours. The beach is good, the entrance is convenient, sandy, but just in case we used special swimming shoes. On the beach they offer to do a massage with various oils, we did a couple, the oils really moisturize the skin very well, and the massage itself perfectly complements the relaxation by the sea. Sports games are also held on the beach, and you can also use the services of a diving center. In the evening, the hotel is quiet enough, a great opportunity to sleep off and have a good time. So we had a very good rest. And separately I would like to tell you about our trip to Israel. We went for 2 days, the tour was unforgettable! Jerusalem is an extraordinary city, a lot of pleasant impressions, every time you experience reverence for the holy places. We were on the observation deck, liked Bethlehem, during the excursions we managed to see many memorable biblical places. On the way back we stopped at the Dead Sea. We bought the tour in SayfTour. It turned out not expensive and in general I liked how everything was organized. From the time spent in Taba, only good impressions remained. We will probably even come to the court again.

I liked the hotel, everything works, the territory is fabulous, but Miramar still partially affected. On the sides you could still see the lawn covered with silt, and on the outskirts, large defects, dug by streams of water with stones. In addition, the roads and the border with Israel have not yet been completely restored. Therefore, some tours in the Sinai, Jordan, diving, temporarily did not work.
Despite this, the holiday was a success. Did not take a room with sea views for an additional 100u. BC, but offered another, standard room, I liked it, everything worked, the staff is friendly, all issues were resolved. I liked the food, especially desserts.
Drinks - water, juice, wine, beer in free access during the day.
Although it was the beginning of summer, there was no deadly heat, sometimes even a pleasant coolness in the morning. The people for obvious reasons were few, the beaches are free. The hotel has two private berths. On the small it is convenient to swim, shallow and sand, but the water (at that time) is muddy. Real coral reefs begin from the big pier, on the middle of which sometimes in the morning a real demonstration parade-alley for lollipops begins, with moray eels, stingrays, manta rays, winged birds. Many have seen quite large sea turtles, which allowed them to swim nearby, the octopus, which did not allow anything, skillfully hid. The best coral reefs with fish, right between the marinas of Miramar and the neighboring hotel Sofitel. So I did not regret the lack of diving, rare species could be seen with a mask and snorkel.
I think in a month or two, the consequences of the village will be eliminated completely, and there will be a very cozy place for active recreation.

We got to Egypt at the end of April to capture the beginning of the May holidays. We opted for Taba, because we really wanted to go to Israel for 2 days and, if possible, visit Petra.
Miramar was chosen because before that they rested in Sharm at the Hyatt, by analogy: Tabov's Miramar is the former Hyatt. The hotel is disappointing. The difference is like between heaven and earth. Although Miramar is not such an old hotel, the facades of the buildings surprise with faded paint, peeling off in places, the territory is very modest. There is a lot of greenery, but the bushes are not trimmed in places, giving the impression of a rustic hedge.
At the reception they extort money for rooms closer to the sea. As a result, for $ 40 they gave a room in building E. Okay. The furniture in the room is old and ugly. The view from the windows was partially on the sea, so they forgave $40 to the administrator. They cleaned the room well, changed towels, brought cosmetics, the cleaner smiled, was polite. Tip: if you are going to Miramar Taba, be sure to take a tablet or laptop with movies with you. The TV shows terribly, the picture is fuzzy, the cover on the remote control is lost, the batteries fall out.
Now about the good. A beautiful beach, an entrance to the sea through two pontoons, a very decent coral reef, we saw a lot of different fish, my husband saw a moray eel and a turtle. Clean, tidy, enough space for everyone. On the May holidays (the Arabs from also celebrate), many eastern large families with women came in large numbers, who everywhere began to bathe in clothes. It spoiled the holiday feeling a bit. Good thing we already left.
The food is normal, not great, but you can find something to eat. We chose more vegetables and meat dishes, we especially liked the evenings when there was a barbecue for dinner. There are enough pastries and other sweets, I would like more fruit. What I didn’t like the most was that you can’t find packaged juices in the hotel, powder poison is everywhere.
We tried to enjoy our vacation. Excursions were ordered via the Internet from the Intercontinental (there Wi-Fi was free at the reception). The price was cheaper than the guide and slightly lower than other online offers. We went to Israel for 2 days, and then to Petra. We are satisfied with the organization, the guides are wonderful. I was struck by the excellent Russian guide Ahmed in Petra, his love of history and many funny jokes.
To summarize, I note that you can go to the hotel, but do not count on its high level, but proceed from the price. Taba itself we liked, we would like to return again.

We were a little unlucky with the weather (the sky was overcast for two days) Water +22, air + 24. Very comfortable temperature. Sometimes the wind. They fed well. After the February bus bombing in Taba, there are practically no Europeans there. They are afraid. Therefore, during our stay in the hotel there were 54 people. We hardly saw them. It happened that we were sitting alone on the beach 450 meters long. The scenery on the beach is simply incredible. Beautiful mountains around, gorgeous sea, sandy beach, and the hotel area is just incredibly green! The terrace of the room overlooked the garden. The service is excellent. The staff is very attentive to tourists, they cleaned the room perfectly. They brought bottled drinking water even if they didn’t drink yesterday’s. Towels were given more than a person needs) I liked the local wine at the bar and delicious coffee. Towels are issued near the Olympic pool. The hotel has good infrastructure (saunas, gym, restaurants, shops, entertainment). The rest is calm, no one is sitting on the head, drunk tourists disturbing the peace were not observed. Wi-Fi 6 USD half an hour, but you can go to the nearby Marriot along the beach and connect for free.
At the hotel we made friends with two Arabs who offered excursions (boat trips and quad bikes in the canyon) Lovely people who are fluent in five languages. It was very interesting for us to communicate with them, and when we said goodbye, everyone almost burst into tears)
I highly recommend this hotel to people who want to relax without violent booze and discos until the morning. My husband and I went with friends (all 23 years old). It wasn't boring at all. Cultural rest, good food. A lot of impressions from corals, and pleasant Egyptians)
P. S. Very good coral. A lot of fish (in addition to colorful cute fish, we saw lionfish, barracuda, sea cucumbers, something like puffer fish, and even a turtle) For people who can not swim, kids and just afraid of living creatures, there is a lagoon in the hotel. Only harmless jellyfish swim there at the bottom (similar to algae) and there were no jellyfish in the sea that sting.
We went on quad bikes to the canyon. really liked it.

We just returned from the hotel yesterday in awe. I would like to start with the fact that Miramar Taba used to be part of the Hyatt chain, and this naturally says a lot. We liked almost everything in the hotel, but I will tell you in order. The territory is huge, very clean, beautiful, lots of flowers and green spaces.

The color scheme of the buildings is very organically combined with the park areas and the panorama of the mountains. At sunset, the entire area turns pink. It is difficult to describe in words to an ordinary person, but if a poet got into Taboo, then he would have something to devote his poems to. The sea is beautiful, very calm, but not yet warm. In February, not all vacationers swim in the sea for a long time. But we swam. The entrance to the sea is on stones and corals, there is a pontoon, along which they reached the edge of the reef. They descended into the water only along the pontoon. This is how everyone did it here, because corals can hurt you badly. Although if you have slippers, you can wander through the shallow water and you can also see outlandish fish. At depth there are a lot of different waterfowl. They all swim up to you and are not at all afraid of people. . We even saw a large tortoise and a moray eel (I was just scared of her). But most of all I liked the small multi-colored fish. We practically did not swim in the heated pool, as we were completely fascinated by the underwater world. The food at the hotel is very good, the service in restaurants and bars is top notch. They don't ask for tips anywhere, and it's like they don't even expect you to give them. For breakfast, a traditional buffet menu: cereals, yoghurts, omelettes, buns and the freshest pastries. For lunch and dinner, the menus are similar: meat (beef, of course), chicken, fish, side dishes in the form of potatoes, rice, pasta, stewed and fresh vegetables, some fruit and an abundance of cakes. For a change of scenery, you can book dinners at other Taba Heights hotels. The room we got was good, but a bit old. I think that all the rooms were almost the same, and the guests were given the best that was, as there were catastrophically few tourists in the hotel. The furniture in the room was very basic, just the bare essentials. The view from the balcony was of the pool and beautiful flowers around it. Everything worked in the bathroom, although it was also already dilapidated in places. Cleaning was daily and very high quality, the cleaner worked wonders from towels: swans, crabs, crocodiles, rose petals. And it's all for $5 twice per stay. On the eve of our arrival on the border with Israel in Taba there was an explosion of a tourist bus with Korean tourists. The tour operator refused excursions to Israel and Jordan. But local agencies still conducted these excursions. We took a chance and went to Israel for 2 days, and then also to Petra on the ferry. The army and the police were constantly spinning around us, there were many roadblocks, we were constantly checking documents. But that made it even calmer. The company Eva Tour organized simply wonderful tours with wonderful guides. We had a great time at the hotel, but you only need to go to Taba with a company, as it will be incredibly boring.
