We traveled with friends. We arrived only for a week, and in principle, we needed the room only for spending the night, because we didn’t want to sit in the room at all. The hotel itself is located in a very old building, so the walls and the floor are slightly skewed in the rooms))) no matter how strange it sounds. Photos on the hotel website are still different from the real picture. For example, I did not like that, as soon as you enter the room, the bed is right there on the side. We went in the winter, in December (2010), so we could drag dirt on our boots, and all this right there with a berth. Although not all rooms have such an arrangement. But in general they are cleaned well, everything was clean. The bathroom is also good, a snow-white bathtub and clean water from the tap of a wonderful blue color. Of the amenities in the room, a TV (very old), a hairdryer (sometimes it seemed to me that it was not safe when it was cut down sharply or it smelled of wiring), a table, a chair. There was no teapot or mugs. This moment was very upsetting, because Paris is an expensive city and eating in it is an expensive pleasure. . And so it would be possible to buy fresh food in the store, and drink tea with the same sandwich or croissants))). The location of the hotel does not matter, because as soon as you leave the building, the metro is located right there, which will take you wherever you want. I remembered how funny the elevator is there, it looks like a closet. You go into the closet on the first floor, wait until the wooden door slams first and then the main one and go in the closet to your floor. Then you get out of this red cabinet, it's funny))) If you don't want to experience this pleasure, you can go the other way - along a spiral staircase that wraps around the pillar in which the cabinet is located. The stairs are narrow like in a tower, so you move only one by one at the end you will get a little dizzy))) But there is something to remember!! ! The hotel has a cafe, but we have never eaten there, breakfast is continental. There is also a large vending machine with chocolates and drinks downstairs, and next to it is a vending machine with coffee. In conclusion, I’ll say that there was nothing special to compare with, but as far as I understand (from the lips of knowledgeable people), for such a price (8500 rubles for 7 days per person) one could find a decent place. Thus, the main plus of the hotel is good service and cleanliness in the room, the main minus is the old building and the nuances arising from this.
