In general, we were satisfied with the trip to the Crimea. Next year we will definitely eat again. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff of the sanatorium and Parnas Touristik and wish them good luck and prosperity.
1. Sanatorium "Alushtinsky". Feels like back to the USSR. A huge botanical garden on the territory of which buildings and a dining room are spread out. Our building is Stalinist building with 3-meter walls. Air conditioning, in short, is not necessary, even in the heat it was cool. The room has a TV set, a refrigerator, a little dead Soviet furniture. The amenities in the room are comfortable and cozy. True, I didn’t understand where to dry clothes after the beach, no ropes, they hung towels and shorts where necessary, laid them out on the sofa. I didn’t dare to dry on the territory near the road, they risked being left without panties and towels.
2. Food. Buffet, all tasty and healthy. Every day a choice of several dairy dishes for a child, vegetables, several types of salads, pastries, different side dishes, a choice of meat and fish dishes. Yummy! But imagine a dining room that is designed for 1000 people. It has 4 halls (250 people in each) and no air conditioning. All this delicious food was not at all a buzz, because it was impossible to eat in the sauna (((There were no terraces, all the windows were tightly clogged with nails, they don’t give takeaway. It seems that the food is tasty, but you can’t eat it. A pear is hanging - can't be eaten.
3. Beach (definitely minus). Pebbles, and in some places instead of pebbles - gravel! It was impossible to be barefoot. In addition, in order to take trestle beds on our sanatorium beach, we had to wake up at 7 in the morning and go to the beach. Guards for a small fee (20 hryvnia) let everyone on the beach. Therefore, it was possible to sunbathe if you did not have time to take a trestle bed, only standing. There is nowhere to even put a blanket. The city beach is free, but that is a separate sad story.
4. Territory. As they say poor, but clean. Huge park, pines, cypresses. Few flowers. Fountains are terribly running. Jets hit where they want. My child thought that these were pools and tried to swim there. I’m thinking, why don’t these fountains be converted into pools, all the same, children swim there, but they don’t add any special beauty
The beach is generally a complete horror! There is almost no beach left. a narrow strip of two meters, filled with cobblestones. There were no small pebbles left there ! ! it’s impossible to go into the sea on these stones, it’s a hell of a pain! Brazen, rude lifeguards-guards will not let you to the beach in the smallest storm. Because they don’t need problems, it’s easier for them! There is a solarium, but the sea is not visible from there, and the places are all occupied since 6-7 in the morning.
Dining room - buffet. For 4 s (-). Everything is very cheap. Salads - grated cabbage, carrots and beets. Fruits - banana slices, apple and orange slices and that's it !! ! There were good first courses, second courses. Just a gorgeous pickle! Good soup-kharcho. First you have to run around for about ten minutes to pick up dishes in different places, and sometimes stand in line ! ! Very hot and humid!
The staff of the buildings is pleasant and polite. The rooms are a separate story! old worn-out wardrobes and bedside tables, old pipes in the bathroom, a hole in the floor and a shower above it, next to it is a toilet bowl. Plumbing and some little things (linen, mattresses, curtains) have been updated, but not everywhere. There is a small TV and a refrigerator.
The sanatorium will fit only for young people and older children, they will have fun at the resort anyway!
Now about the dining room. Meals are custom-made, but for some reason repeating from day to day. For dinner, imported fruits, as if peaches, watermelons, melons do not grow in Crimea. The service staff is always dissatisfied with something, no matter what you ask, all answers are with a roar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for one hour. Portions are small and always cold.
I don't want to talk about the beach at all. The sanatorium is designed for 650 vacationers, there are no more than 200 people on the beach, or maybe less, so they let people in for another 25 hryvnia
"savages". Sunbeds 100 times repainted, down on the beach there are huge boulders on which you can’t lie down, steps to the sea are dilapidated.
I will not write about treatment. It's sad, that's all. Part of the procedures is paid, and the second part - as it were, but anyhow. It seems that the procedure was released, but in what capacity, no one cares.
The resort is public, not private. Everything remains from Soviet times, no investments, although they take the appropriate money (for a night in the climate pavilion we paid 1100 rubles). Everything was built on the budget money of the USSR. But the director of the boarding house rides in a luxurious jeep.
By and large, the entire Crimea is what remains from Soviet times. In some places, modern hotels appear, but there are such prices that Turkey is "resting". It's easier for that kind of money to relax abroad and feel like a person.
The children were ill for 10 days, because they picked up some kind of infection in the sanatorium, everyone there, both adults and children, had a runny nose, cough, fever.
Only a huge beautiful park with various plants left positive emotions. It’s just a pity that all the fountains, and there are 5-6 of them, didn’t work.
And the last fly in the ointment was added by the guard Sergey, who moonlights as a private driver. They ordered him a taxi at the right time to get to the bus station, but he just took it and did not come, changed from the night and, apparently, was sleeping. Although he had been called several times before, and he swore he would not be late. God bless Andrey, another security guard, who helped us out and asked his friend to take us to the bus station, and we did not miss the bus and, accordingly, the train.
Passenger traffic in Alushta is very interesting. You come to the ticket office half an hour before departure - there are no tickets. You go to the parking lot, ask the driver to take you to the place even while standing, he agrees for a double price. We sit in the cabin, there are only three passengers on tickets. Before sending, the dispatcher comes in, gives the waybill, and in exchange receives a reward from the driver. Taxi drivers are also interesting people. From the bus station to the sanatorium we traveled for 40 hryvnia, back, for 25 hryvnia.
My advice to you, rest "savages". They offer accommodation at every turn. Two-room apartment with European-quality repair, air conditioning and hot water all the time, and not from 7 to 9 o'clock in the morning and in the evening, for 450 hryvnia per day. There are only two stops to the beach. You can eat well in canteens, which are a dime a dozen near the embankment. Tasty and inexpensive (once we dined - for four 100 hryvnia - 400 rubles). And take more trips. The nature and sights of Crimea cannot be compared with any foreign countries and our Krasnodar Territory.
Have a good rest everyone.
I'll start with the positive, which is very small.
The territory is undeniably beautiful, large, green, very beautiful, but if someone else was involved in it - for example, they would restore idle fountains - this territory would not be worth the price.
We ordered a semi-deluxe 2-room suite, when we arrived for some reason it wasn’t there, everyone was busy - not very friendly girls at the reception said that there was just a two-room suite, we didn’t agree and decided to wait for the manager. Of course, without waiting, they explained to us that all the 2-room suites they have are junior suites. Well, let's go and check it out! My dear ones were shocked when I entered this "junior suite" it's just a disaster, maybe I don't understand something in junior suites, but it even looks like a barn, I have better rooms in my country house. They thought that it would work with us, it wasn't there. We went down to the administration again, it’s good to go far and I managed to calm down, therefore, without any stormy statements, we calmly talked with the manager, who, having figured it out, a hundred times apologizing, moved us to another building (in the 1st) in a junior suite on the 3rd floor. (more expensive even than our booked actually - but this is correct compensation for the time and nerves spent) But it was the next day, and that night we had to sleep in this barn. At least I took a picture of this so-called junior suite. In short, they frayed their nerves well. The surprises didn't end there.
In general, I’m silent about the fact that there is no air conditioning in any room, in such heat it’s not long to die. it is impossible to sleep. The normal junior suite was cleaned every day, the linen was not changed even once in 6 days.
Nutrition. Seen this for the first time. we arrived for 7 days, 3 days ate regular dishes. They have a custom menu and order from the 4th day only. It's a total mess. I paid for food and I can’t choose, but I have to eat what they give! disgustingly simple. some schnitzels and cutlets from which heartburn! There is no ventilation in the dining room (I generally keep quiet about air conditioners). We sat drinking tea and a river flowed from us. Tin.
Beach resort. Well, let's start with the fact that in Alushya, in principle, there is some kind of problem with the beaches - they are extremely narrow and people are like herrings on them, especially in months like July-August, there is simply nowhere to stand. And there is simply no beach resort! rather, it is its width of 3-4 meters, the length of 150 meters. It's a nightmare when the waves blow these 3-4 meters away and the beach disappears! you have to hang around on the sunbeds (if they are empty) and go down to swim! Terrible! The beach is not 300 meters away. From our building we walked for 10-15 minutes. 500 meters for sure!
Alushta itself is nothing special, the same as many other towns. embankment with all the entertainment.
Long story short, I will never go to this resort again. Unless someone buys it out and starts restoring it, well, then the prices there will be appropriate!
But the biggest negative is the beach. I used to wonder why there are no photos of the beach on the Internet? It turned out, because not a single photographer can take it off without scaring off vacationers! It's worth a detailed description. First, about the solarium. Probably, it was built by an architect who had previously been engaged in the construction of fortifications. The thickness of the wall from the sea side is 1 meter! Probably, in this solarium, it’s good to shoot back from the enemy. From all sides there is reinforced concrete, just like in horror films: I arrived at the sea, but you can’t see the sea, someone is sunbathing, children are running around, but there is no sea. No, I'm lying, you can see if you stand on your tiptoes. But you can go down the ruined stairs to the beach, if you work hard with your elbows and if you are very lucky and the people around you are a little weaker than you, you can win back a small piece under the sun. It does not matter that everyone will walk through you, but you will see the SEA, which you missed so much.
Treatment for the Crimea is not bad enough. The price of the ticket even includes mud, although in other sanatoriums they are paid. The medical staff is rude and dissatisfied with almost everything. But the salt cave deserves special attention. It is located on a mountain serpentine. Not only do you constantly walk the stairs of 300 steps 3 times a day, but only true fans can be treated in a cave!
They do not invest in the sanatorium, they actively exploit the Soviet past. Probably, in those days the sanatorium was a true pearl of Alushta, but since then a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. . .
The pluses include a huge park, century-old poplars, hanging gardens near the first building. Unusual view of Alushta and Mount Chatyrdag. Good food, friendly front desk staff.
So, if you need to be treated, steps do not scare you and you are completely indifferent to the sea and miss the Soviet times - you won’t find a better place!
