Everyone who came to this hotel for the New Year was, to put it mildly, shocked, the food for lunch was pasta three days ago with chopped local sausage, sometimes cucumber tomato salad, one to ok for all boiled vegetables, cakes are generally like a quest, a small one and that’s all, the child took two, while that distributor turned away, the Arab noticed he began to snatch a plate from him that both cakes and a plate had flown away, and from the ointment the skins that do not chew, dinner is the same + beets and raw grated carrots! I used to not eat for two days in this hotel, I ordered food in the Fish market.
Bay is not bad fish to eat, but few! Guides are not eager to deal with resettlement, and some Russians didn’t have a guide at all, they cursed and quarreled for a long time and called hotlines, but it was all useless and they had to check in, there is also Wi-Fi at the reception! All the photos that you see when viewing the hotel were taken in 2000, there is no playground (or rather, there is, but it is abandoned and all broken), the hotel is a ruin!! ! About the pool in the morning they wash the tiles near the pool and push all the dirty water with mops into the pool! There are slides, but the same dirty pool and cold, there is not a single heated one.
There is no infrastructure nearby, soho is 40 minutes on foot, you can take a taxi or minibus. In general, you can talk for a long time about how the roof collapsed in people’s room, the woman had no light in the room, alcohol was diluted with 70 water 30 alcohol, tourists splashed in their faces and forced them to open bottles in front of them! In no case do not eat here, before it may have been good in 2000, but not now, the photo does not correspond to reality, the dining room and the reception desk were flooded!
Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, Belarus and Arabs.
Meals: everything was always tasty and fresh, you won’t find much variety in food, there were only 50 people in the hotel. They don't cook much.
Rooms: were at the hotel at 8.30, gave 20 bucks and immediately settled in, a good room, everything worked. Twisted swans for us)
Service: water slides with warm chlorinated water, there is one unheated central pool, it works alone on the territory. Children swam, but in December you need to be a walrus with running water to dive) Internet is paid. 17 minutes on foot and you are at the sea, the sea is a super entrance without corals. . . To the right is a reef with corals, jellyfish and fish, large and beautiful. On the beach, contact the boy Said for diving and quad bikes, save a lot of money on excursions. There is a bus at 20.00 to Sohu and Nama Bay, every day - free of charge. There are no discos, but you can go with an animator to Space and Hrd Drok on Namu Bay.
The room was far from shiny. They gave us 20 bucks when we checked in. The location of the room was good. But the old furniture and cleaning left much to be desired. And the most unpleasant thing is mosquitoes in April, which we completely forgot about, without taking anything from repellents.
There are inexpensive shops on the territory of the hotel. Immediately after the exit from the reception - a shop where teas are sold. We bought hibiscus, lemongrass, golden tea (fenugreek) and something else as a gift.
Almost every evening we went to the Naama Bay tourist center on the hotel bus, sat in cafes, smoked hookah, drank fresh juices, wandered around the shops. Yes, Charm is not for shopping. Civilization has not yet arrived. Democratic Hurghada with hypers and fixed price shops is much better in this regard.
We went on excursions. Jordan. Excursion credit. You must visit Petra at least once. Awesome mountains. But the road is hard from Sharm to Taba. We took a survey on Sharm. Beautiful Coptic church. Got a good guide. We went to Ras Mohammed by bus. Liked. Swimming, taking pictures. Excursions were ordered in advance on the website http://orbittours. ru.
The holiday did not disappoint.
I want to make a point right now. This is a second line hotel, a budget option. If YOU want the sea in two steps and the highest level of service, choose the more expensive option!!!
In order.
1. ACCOMMODATION AND HOTEL
Almost all hotels check-out at 12-00, check-in at 14-00. This is a normal practice even in Europe, do not be surprised! If you want to check in earlier - be prepared and pay extra for it. Spend 1000 and more dollars - and sit half a day at the reception for the sake of saving 10 dollars - you see, stupidity!
We arrived at the hotel at about midnight, settled us almost immediately. BUT! As we found out later, the hotel has this practice: they immediately put everyone in very bad, the most distant rooms and wait for tourists to come with a request to move them to another room. For this they ask 10 dollars. Be prepared for this.
We booked a Standard room. Even at check-in, we asked for a Family room with a surcharge, we promised to solve it the next day. The first number plunged us into despondency. Very sad. But the next day we moved to another room - 2 rooms, a balcony overlooking the pool, an entrance hall with a refrigerator, a decent bathroom, a wide bed in the bedroom, and an extra bed for a child. The furniture is old, but everything is in good condition. Repair is far from wow, but everything is neat. We were satisfied. For such a replacement, they paid an additional $ 20.
I really liked the area of the hotel. Big and clean. I got up with the kids at 6 in the morning and watched how every morning they cleaned the territory. Quite green, but I would like more flowers. There are three pools, but everyone swims in two large ones. One of them has slides (the slides are open from 10 am to 4 pm), I rode with pleasure (I don’t advise you to ride indoors, no buzz - and I tore my elbows). There are no problems with sunbeds by the pool.
There is a small average playground.
The staff. . . You can't call him well-trained. They try to communicate with tourists, but it does not work out very well. But everyone says hello. We even had a nice chat with a few. Almost everyone understands Russian well. But we spoke in English.
2. INTERNET
Wi-fi is available, but very expensive. We bought our SIM card from the guide with very fast internet for 15 bucks, which was enough for us for 10 days on Viber and VKontakte. They say you can buy cheaper in the city.
3. SEA
Here is the most enjoyable! The beach is great! Pretty clean. There is a pontoon (not long! ), a lot of corals and beautiful fish. And you can swim near the shore (although you are not allowed to go to the depth from the shore). Children swam near the shore (about 70 cm at high tide and 2 times less at low tide, but for our entire holiday the low tide was only 2 in the morning). You can walk to the nearby beach - it is sandy. We didn't go.
Lots of sunbeds, there are always free ones. There are free drinks on the beach - water, cola, fanta, sprite. But at the end of the beach, we were too lazy to walk every time.
Road to the beach. The first 3 days we thought that there were no problems at all with the road to the beach. The bus runs every hour (except, it seems, 12-00 and 14-00). But then sooo many tourists came to the hotel, and the bus was packed to capacity. Be aware that if there are a lot of tourists, the bus will return a second, and even a third time! We always asked if he would come back and waited 7 minutes. Peak hours - 9-00 and 13-00. If you go at 10, the bus will be half empty. Drive to the beach 5 min. Walk 20 min, but the road is unpleasant.
4. FOOD
Power on a solid 4. We are satisfied. Neither adults nor children had any stomach problems. The choice is quite large, but we didn't eat everything. What we chose was delicious and varied! Some people even got better during the holidays ; ) It's a problem with fruits. Melons, oranges and dates. But only dates are tasty. From vegetables, too, not everyone ate, but there is always plenty to choose from! Delicious pasta, potatoes. The meat is always in several versions, delicious chicken.
Drinks are worse. Tea and coffee (I tried coffee once, I didn’t want to again). Water. Upi in the morning, fanta, cola, sprite in the afternoon and evening (order from the bartender, which is not very convenient). We got out of the situation like this: we took a fresh lime and squeezed it into the water, tasty and healthy : )
The dining room (you can't exactly call it a restaurant) is too small for this hotel. At the time of the greatest influx of tourists (on weekends), you had to look for a free table and stand in line for drinks.
And yet. Drinks - in plastic disposable cups. And I'm almost sure that the cups are not disposable after all. It's very annoying, to be honest.
Separately about water. You want to drink very much, you don’t run into a bar. There is a drinks kiosk across the street from the hotel. 1.5 liters of water costs $1. We bought it, drank it in the room and took it to the beach with us.
I can’t say anything about alcohol, I didn’t drink. Husband once tasted beer and said "fi". I saw that there is wine, at the bar you can order cola with brandy and a cocktail (looking like "Sex on the Beach").
5. HOLIDAYERS
For the first three days we were glad that there were very few Russian-speaking tourists. But then they began to arrive in large numbers, and as a result, half of the tourists in the hotel turned out to be Russian speakers. A lot of locals came over the weekend. They did not bother me at all (it is not clear why many are outraged by this fact).
A large number of tourists is felt only at lunch and dinner. And on the bus during rush hour.
We were very pleased with our vacation! With the right approach, you can close your eyes to all the shortcomings! I repeat, those who like to grumble and complain should not even choose this hotel, but generally 4 stars and / or a budget hotel! Take 5 stars and more expensive. And if you are a happy owner of an easy character and a positive attitude, you will enjoy your stay in this hotel!
Have a nice vacation!
We arrived at night (1-30), we were greeted by noisy music and the devastation of the hotel (Disembarkation on the road, outside the territory). We went to the reception there after gatherings, glasses, napkins, etc. were lying in the lobby. Well, a child was sleeping in his arms 2 years old and we wanted to quickly settle in and relax. But they didn’t let us in first (although we asked, but they took our companions (a couple), we were told to wait 5 minutes, 25 minutes passed (our companions raised a kipish when they saw the hole) and we went to look for our room ourselves with suitcases and a child...
The room was terrible, (see photo) dirty, small, there was nothing on the balcony, the safe did not work, there was no hot water. But we decided to get enough sleep, and in the morning to solve this issue.
In the morning no one moved us, even for money. Every day we were fed breakfast - tomorrow, in the evening, etc. We spoke Romodan and all the rooms are occupied by locals! We decided to put up with it, asked for a crib and at least chairs for the balcony, this was brought to us on the 4th day, after constant reminders, and instead of a crib, we were assigned a large bed for an adult, which occupied all the free space of the room! On the 6th day out of 10, we were placed in a standard room, the room was not bad but with cockroaches, without a hair dryer, which we begged for another 2 days! We didn't leave a tip, and they didn't bring us towels!
Dining and food is generally a gloom! Complete unsanitary conditions. The dishes are all dirty, always sticky and all, sorting through 10-20 pieces, you won’t find a clean one! There were a lot of people, they didn’t have time to wash, they probably only wiped it! The stench is such that you can snatch everything at the entrance! But that's nothing, somehow we came at the end of dinner when everything was cleaned up - and saw how rubbish was being raked off the tables with the broom that had just rowed the floor !! ! There is nothing but smelly fish, rice, "pasta" sometimes. If there were fruits, they were immediately raked up, they didn’t take them out anymore! The child was always hungry, it’s good that they took them with them! They say our people "eat" like hungry, but the Arvbs after Romodan are something! We stand in the same line, I am in front and behind the local, first they put a full plate of fruit for him (you don’t take it yourself) and I have 2 pieces, I say 3 of us, puts 1 more.
The sea is the sea, but you can’t get there on foot, and the minibus is always crowded, but it takes 5 minutes to go. The pebbly beach is not suitable for children!
