The sea is clean, garbage is promptly removed. But I cut myself on a stone, the bottom is not sandy everywhere. As for food, there is always a choice - beef, fish, turkey, chicken. We did not have enough fruit, there were only watermelons, apples, peaches, sometimes pears. The month of July is the season for figs, but they had to be bought in a shop.
I really liked the embankment, after dinner a lot of people walk, they also sell tours to Pamukkale, Ephesus and TD much cheaper than from tour operators at the hotel.
The hotel is quiet, not party-going, young people will be bored. 90% of vacationers are Turks with children from 3 months and more. Therefore, for those who are disturbed by children's running and screaming, you are not here. But in general, the Turks behave very dignified. No drunken parties and yelling at night. Since there are practically no Germans (only a few stray ones), no one smokes on the beach and you can safely breathe fresh sea air, not smoke.
The beach is good, there was always enough space, you can not run in the morning to take a sunbed. But the beach worker does not clean it in good faith. There is garbage in the sand and even sharp fragments from broken bottles after the nightly gatherings of our compatriots. The sea is good, shallow, warm (we were in early July). Only after 100 meters does the depth begin. So who with children - very convenient. In general, the hotel is like a sanatorium for mother and child.
The heat is easier to bear than in southern Turkey.
The winds are constantly blowing, sometimes even very strong, that you have to leave the beach and place yourself on a green meadow on the territory of the hotel in the shade under trees or umbrellas, and if you want - in the sun. There is always enough space for everyone. A very attentive young man works on this clearing, he will always help bring a sunbed and put an umbrella. And even remembers who has chosen what place on this lawn for himself. Lie on this lawn at least all night, no one drives away. The sea is very rarely calm. Especially in the afternoon. Therefore, algae are often brought in and the water becomes not very clean. Sometimes the algae are removed. And since the sea is not deep, the waves are not too high, then jumping in the waves is a real pleasure. The beach has a blue flag.
There are two pools. One is 140 cm deep, the other is small for children. But since we never swim in pools in any hotels, I can’t say anything about them
.
The hotel rooms are standard. Not very big, but not cramped, you don't bump into each other. We had a triple room with three single beds. The beds are wide and very comfortable. The air conditioning is located very well that when you turn it on at night, it does not blow on the bed. The room is clean and the bathroom is quite spacious. They don't clean every day. Linen is changed every other day or two. Towels are always changed when they come to clean. It doesn't matter if you put in a dollar or not.
The hotel has two sides - land view and sea view. Those rooms that overlook the land view rest against the wall of another hotel, located about 4 meters from your balcony. On this wall are the air conditioners of that hotel, and also on this side is Ephesia's kitchen. There is nothing to breathe on the balcony. In addition, not everything works well in these rooms (for example, air conditioning and a door to the balcony) and they give only one key to it - a card.
So when you're out of the room, you can't leave the air conditioner on and you're back in a hot, stuffy room. But these rooms are cheaper, which we fell for, but on the very first evening upon arrival they changed the room to sea view without any problems with an additional charge of 5 euros per person per night. We received two keys - cards from the room, which made it possible to leave the air conditioner on when we left.
There is no air conditioning in the corridors of the hotel and it is very stuffy and hot. And the elevators are just a gas chamber. Therefore, we almost always went down on foot. At the reception and in the halls too stuffy. In a restaurant, if it is very hot outside, it is also stuffy. There air conditioners are weak and there are only one or two of them. There are always places in the restaurant, no need to run to borrow. The waiters are attentive, dirty dishes are removed quickly. Dishes are clean. Never had any problems with plates or cutlery.
In a restaurant, when they clean the table for those who have already eaten, they always not only clean the dishes, but also lay a new tablecloth. The food is very good for all tastes. There is even a dietary table (which was taken apart very quickly). And so, you want - boiled, you want fried, you want steam. Always three types of meat (chicken, turkey, beef) in different types and fish. Lots of cold appetizers, soups, fruits (watermelons, melons, peaches, apricots, cherries, oranges, apples). There are no complaints about the kitchen. From 4 to 5 they give ice cream - very tasty. In general, you can eat something all day long. Wi-Fi at the reception, in the lobby and near the small pool is free, it catches well.
Since the hotel is focused on the Turks, the animation is all in Turkish. There are 4 guys working who don't give their best. A couple of times there were some evening performances, but their level left much to be desired. There was a children's disco every evening.
A couple of times there was live music, Turkish songs, but very pleasant. Turks danced. And so the hotel is quiet - no music. no discos, no shows. This is exactly what we were looking for and we got what we wanted. Silence and restful sleep. The soundproofing of the hotel is good. Neighbors are not heard. Along the sea there is a walking path in one direction and the other. To the left side is very long, almost along the entire coast past various hotels and cafes. Almost everyone goes out there in the evening for a walk.
Would love to return to this hotel again.
The main problem is the small area. There is especially little space on the beach - all places are already occupied by six in the morning. And this despite the fact that the sunbeds are close to each other, it is impossible to move them, the feeling is like in the Moscow metro at rush hour, only at the same time everyone is undressed.
It’s good if the neighbors are young and beautiful, but if it’s an old woman, and even topless? And past you all the time scurrying to and from the sea vacationers from the lawn, a good place on which we also occupied by six in the morning.
It was all terrible, I thought in 1998 that there would be nothing worse than the Dagomys Hotel in my life, but for you...
The food is normal, but there is not a very large selection of sweets, and the fruit is too tight - we were often given only sour plums, no one even touched them.
The local wine in the hotel is very bad, but the beer is fine, only it seemed to us that it was non-alcoholic. The rooms were cleaned normally, there was at least a minimum of furniture, not enough for two, so we pulled off a chair in the hall and it became tolerable.
I liked the only thing - the hotel is conveniently located, if you want, walk along the embankment, if you want, take a minibus and go to the city - the stops are right in front of the hotel. All the conditions to get out of this fig hotel at least in the evening
An excellent beach and a warm sea - that's probably all you need for a good holiday, but no! In the city itself, awesome DISCO _worth going_
Well, that's all, so you won't regret it!
