To the center of Kusadasi 20-30 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by minibus (2.75 lira). The village is quite large, you can call it a city, but there is nothing special to see there, there is an unfinished closed fortress (a fake of antiquity), in the center of the city there is a tiny fortress, in which souvenir shops are located. Huge cruise ships call at the port almost every day - that's all the sights. True, 20 km away are the ruins of the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. Worth a look, the tour will take half a day.
Disappointed Teztur. Firstly, we did not receive any discounts for early booking, but on the contrary, a week before departure, our tour became $ 100 cheaper. They prepared the documents only 3 days before departure, but since it was Sunday, we could not receive them. On Monday, we were already on our way to Moscow with Teztur's promise that we would receive all the documents at Vnukovo 3 hours before departure. For 3 hours, a guy came to the Teztura counter and brought some bags. He said that the girl who should issue the documents was already at the airport and would come right away. However, neither 3 nor 2 hours before departure no one came up. There were already more than 50 people in line at the Teztour counter from three flights that took off at intervals of 20-30 minutes. When the check-in for our flight was already drawing to a close, a gloomy unshaven uncle came up, and for another 10 minutes he silently delved into the papers, not reacting to the indignation of the passengers. And only after that he began to issue documents. We were one of the last to check-in, and when we were going to board, the queue for documents was still long.
There is no need to borrow in advance, there is enough for everyone. Although, it was funny to watch the Dutch hippos, who at 5 am (!!! ) deliberately threw towels on the sunbeds near the pool. By the way, the pool is amazing. I'm really a sea lover. If you have reached the sea, why should you breathe bleach near the pool? Tolley deal iodized sea air! Pure health!
Beach staff are vigilant in their service. It is worth coming to the beach, they immediately cover the sunbed, set up an umbrella. Trying their best! In general, the hotel staff was very pleased. This applies to everyone: the service, the reception, the cleaners, the cooks, and the singers and musicians. All work just fine! We strive to make your stay the best it can be. Of course, the hotel building is old, although it has been restored, it still cannot be compared with the luxury hotels of Antalya. But everything else pleases, pleases, pleases. There are small flaws, such as: the refrigerator in the room practically did not cool.
I don’t even know if it’s bad, it’s how you look. But they did not drink ice water, avoiding a sore throat. We did not even report this to the reception - we were quite happy with it. There was no paper in the room to record. I had to write a note on toilet paper. But then they got hold of a whole pile at the reception. Although, I think the hotel management is likely to eliminate such an unfortunate oversight in the near future. All structures of the hotel work clearly and harmoniously. Checked in quickly, literally 5 minutes. We arrived at night, sandwiches were waiting for us in the room. A trifle, but nice! They settled on the 5th floor with a gorgeous view of the sea, the pool, the port with cruise liners and yachts and the famous island of Gyuverdzhin (Pigeon) with a no less famous fortress.
In the evening, the view from the balcony is simply fantastic: Kusadasi, which, by the way, is within easy reach: some 2 km. Walking distance in 20 minutes, we, however, went by taxi for 5 Euros, minibus 2.50 lira per person. And what a sunset! And what air!
The hotel area is very green, a lot of mimosas, which continued to bloom in July! Fed to death! Fulfilled all orders quickly, clearly and with a friendly smile. By the way, we tried to take into account all the wishes. For example, we preferred to dine on the first line of the terrace, at a table closest to the sea. They always found just such places for us, even though the restaurant was full, but somehow they managed to please! We only visited for a week, so we were only able to visit one Sedir a la carte restaurant - a meat restaurant. Delicious! The meat is just great! A Russian pianist is playing.
As for the massage. The hotel has a spa salon "Larissa", a Russian girl Irina works there, who will help you choose the type of service, because all the other employees of the salon speak only Turkish, including the languid manager. Well, the prices are just outrageous. I once went to the famous Thai masseuse for a Balinese massage.
I paid 87 lira for 50 minutes and still didn’t understand how Balinese massage differs from Turkish? Our tour guide from FTI advised to go to the hammam of the Arora 4 * hotel. Let's go, yes, we went there every day
Package peeling, foam massage, oil massage and mask 25 €. Then we went to an oil massage for $25, a face mask as a gift. By the way, they bring you and take you by car absolutely free of charge, it takes about 15 minutes to drive. The massage guys do a very good job. And clients are rushing there, not like in Corumara: no matter how you go down to the SPA - silence, not a single person!
Animation in Corumara, as it is now customary to say soft, that is, unobtrusive ...It seems to be there, but no one sees or hears it, and few people go to evening performances. It is understandable - such proximity of Kusadasi with its nightlife makes people break loose immediately after dinner. And in Kusadasi there is where to hang out, for every taste!
we visited 5-6 disco, stopped at 2: a beautiful open-air disco "Another Bar", admission is free, drinks at reasonable prices, pop music. No boom-boom-boom, thank God! But our favorite open-air Lemon bar is the Irish pub. Although, there, in principle, everything is international. So, most importantly, DJ Ibrahim works there, who, at your request, will play any song for you, by any artist, finding it in a matter of minutes on the net.
Whoever is interested in shopping - in Kusadasi will find everything that the soul desires. In the leather salon "Ricci Leather" I even found mink coats, unlike the whole of Turkey, not from Canadian mink, but from Greek. And that means at very reasonable prices! Well, leather products are just a sea. I went to other stores, the models there are not very good, but in Ricci everything is very fashionable. By the way, there is one guy there, he speaks Russian better than our Caucasians. So all Russian clients feel at home there!
Summing up my story, I want to say: the first impression of Corumar is not so hot. As they say, we have seen more glamorous hotels! But once you stay there for a couple of days, you begin to understand: the hotel is cool. By the way, one of the best on the coast of Kusadasi. In confirmation of this, during my week-long stay, I watched two film crews there. The Lithuanian reality show "Rest with a Star" was filmed in Korumara. The team was not weak: cameramen, illuminators, directors, show participants and, of course, the stars. The famous Lithuanian designer, Lithuanian actor, who starred with Daniel Craig in "Partisans" and the owner of factories, newspapers, steamships. The second film crew is Turkish TV. Filmed a story about a summer vacation. So draw your own conclusions, gentlemen! Will such shootings be arranged in bad hotels!
Vacation was a success! What I wish for everyone!
I really liked Korumar and the animation is great too..
True, there are very few Russians there, there are practically none and all the staff do not speak Russian, but this is not a problem if you know English or French . . There were a lot of French citizens here, so the staff also speaks French.
In general, we had no problems with the language. communicated both with the staff (I especially talked with the animators - super guys), and with in. tourists. Next year we only plan to come to Korumar again . . And what we especially liked was that the hotel is located very close to the city of Kusadasi . . and if we got bored, we just went out of the city and had fun there ..
But I didn't get bored at the hotel.
At the beginning of May, 2005, we rested in Bodrum, at the Tropicano Bodrum club hotel - so I do not advise anyone to go to this hotel ..
1. The hotel needs to be renovated, and the area is very beautiful and green.
2. animation was not very good.
Corumar is a magnificent hotel, located on a mountain, as if built into the mountain, continuing it up.
The picture is like from the cover of a glossy magazine - a chic five-star giant and a radiant sky reflected in a slightly restless sea.
The bay at the foot of the rock hotel fascinates with its beauty, and the sea catches the rays of the sun, and the waves, constantly running somewhere, reflected their light.
In the rooms, too, everything is at the level - cozy and comfortable. excellent cuisine. a hotel for lovers of a relaxing holiday, quiet, comfortable and very beautiful!!!
the service staff is very qualified, but speaks only English and German.
