The Pinebay hotel sunk into the soul and memory for a long time, you probably won’t forget this. In addition, it was the first time of rest in Turkey, now there are only good impressions about Turkey so far.
We rested in September 2021, the air temperature was 28-31 degrees. In fact, we felt the velvet season - the temperature is high, but does not “burn”, the word “velvet” sun speaks in the best way for a comfortable climate at this time.
The hotel has a lot of pluses, everything is so good that I'm afraid I won't forget something.
1. A huge territory of more than 40 hectares, mountainous terrain, various shrubs and trees everywhere, everything is in bloom. A lot of olives, which were directly harvested with special devices, pomegranate trees with pomegranates, palm trees everywhere. Thanks to such rich vegetation, the views are amazing everywhere.
To take a picture, you do not need to look for and choose a place, wherever you are, everywhere is beautiful.
2. The water temperature in the sea is 24-25 degrees, at first glance it’s not much, but it doesn’t “shake” and when you go out you don’t urgently need to wrap yourself in a towel, a warm breeze and the sun make swimming comfortable. Many pools have water about the same, maybe a little warmer. Probably the coldest water was in the indoor pool 23-24 degrees, but it was not needed, because I wanted to be in the sun.
3. Internet throughout the territory is free and good!!!
They didn’t strain at all, everything downloaded and uploaded very well both in the rooms, and by the sea, and throughout the territory, anywhere.
4. The food is very varied and it is all very tasty, there is everything and there is enough of everything. They gave grilled meat, chicken, grilled idea, even grilled tuna, many different cakes and pastries, cheeses and olives - just an abundance, main courses, salads and vegetables, we did not have time to try everything.
What was especially pleased with the wide variety of fruits and oriental sweets.
5. Separately, I want to highlight that food is always available. I thought that I would have to run to the cafe on a schedule, but everything was very comfortable. We didn’t go to the main cafe for lunch, we ate mainly in the cafe by the main pool and mostly Grilled Salmon with vegetables (large portions).
Maybe someone will need a cafe schedule.
Main cafe:
7.00-11.00 - breakfast
12.30-14.30 - lunch
19.00-21.30 - dinner
23.00-01.00 - late dinner
12.00-16.00 - snack bars
Panorama (on the rock) - Italian pasta, pizza, wings, burgers.
On the beach (until 17.00) - various Turkish grills and salads
By the main pool - grilled salmon and grilled beef, salads
Marina bar - seafood
Burger House - 10.00-18.00
Other bars with ice cream, drinks, tea and coffee are open mainly until 00.00
There is one bar open 24 hours.
6. The coolest thing about convenience with food is that you can take it to your room! When you travel with small children, this is very handy.
That is, there is no tension at all, just food, snacks, especially fruits - everything is allowed to be brought to the rooms. It may seem that they just do not tell you that you can not, but it is not. They have special boxes for dirty dishes on the floors of the hotel, in the form of houses. I ate in the room, on the balcony and then put it in the corridor in these boxes. The same boxes are on the street for those who are accommodated in houses, and not in a hotel.
7. Water park - 5 slides, all really interesting, open until 17.00 There are several slides for the little ones.
8. Pools seem to be 10 open and one closed, all clean, cleaned.
9. The sea is calm, although there are places with waves, as you like. Every day there were waves, in that part of the bay where the Hotel and the pier are located, there, by the way, the bottom is more rocky. And from the side of the water park there are almost no waves, and the entrance there is sandy, here we swam in masks and looked at the fish, there are a lot of them.
If anyone likes it, you can feed them, they are apparently accustomed to this there.
10. There are a lot of sunbeds everywhere, both on the sea and by the pools, there are always a lot of free places. We have never seen that someone takes a place, as it happens, they write in the reviews. They were even surprised, they thought that there were not enough people. But as it turned out, the hotel was almost full, about 2 thousand people. But thanks to the seemingly huge territory of the hotel, you almost don’t notice people, that is, they seem to be few. By the way, there are no strong queues in the canteens either, everything happens quickly thanks to the well-coordinated work of the staff.
11. There are elevators to the beaches, if someone does not want to walk, especially back to the room.
12. We lived in a hotel, we liked the rooms, especially those that look at the sea. Although my wife and I were on the mountain, but it was also not bad, the trees brightened up the views and you could sit on the balcony in the shade and in silence. In addition to the hotel, there are houses for 2-4 people, maybe more.
There are villas on private territory.
13. Cleaning every day, clean well. In the bar every day they put cola, fanta, sprite, just water, all this is free, because, ultra all inclusive. The air conditioners are really not new, but they still work, if they change, it will be better, but in principle we didn’t strain at all, we first set it up as we needed and then forgot.
14. At the beginning, when we stopped by, they checked everything, asked the workers to come to solve the issue with the bad smell from the ventilation and the leakage of the glass damper in the bathroom, all issues were resolved immediately and we were no longer worried about anything. They said that if not corrected, they will be moved to other rooms. But it didn't come to that.
15. Separately, I would like to thank the hotel staff for their responsiveness, quick feedback and help on all issues. Everyone works with high quality, they try.
Upon arrival, we were not allowed to carry our suitcases to the room, they were taken by a special worker and did not take a tip for this, the cleaners clean carefully, the waiters and cooks are very attentive (sometimes someone might get tired and not notice you), but basically everyone is very responsive .
16. Separately, I will single out the workers at the reception. You just need to understand that there are two departments at the reception, one of them settles and arranges you, while the other solves current issues. Others are more necessary and useful to you, their table is located next to the counter, on the right, if you look from the entrance to the hotel. I especially want to thank the girl who introduced herself as Ilke, she solved all the questions and problems that arose within a few minutes. Thanks a lot.
17. There is only one difficulty - in this hotel the staff almost does not speak Russian, apparently there are not many Russian vacationers. Therefore, you have to turn to Google translator, and it’s good that there is Internet everywhere.
eighteen.
We are not very fond of animation, but here we liked it. It is enough for both adults and children, every day a new program.
19. The only thing we did not manage to go to is the Ala Carte restaurant. We thought that we would go at the end, and when we arrived, we were told that everything was scheduled for 2 days in advance. Therefore, we advise you to sign up in advance, at least 3 days in advance.
20. Many thanks to Kemran, the hotel guide from Pegasus, very quickly helped to solve all the org. questions, helped translate and communicate with local staff, which he probably does not even have to solve.
If we go to Turkey, then of course we will consider this hotel for visiting and relaxing. And if we want to see something new, then at least we will ask the tour operator to select something similar in terms of the level and quality of service.
The accommodation is clean, 2 small rooms and a living room with a sofa and a wardrobe, in which a refrigerator and a safe are free of charge, from which there is access to a balcony with partial sea views. The refrigerator was replenished every day - cola, fanta, mineral water and regular free of charge. A standard set of coffee, dry cream, several types of tea, water for the kettle. There are 3 air conditioners in the rooms. Bath with hairdryer, gel, shampoo, conditioner, caps, sponges and ear sticks in mini-packages, disposable slippers. Cleaned perfectly changed and towels every day and bed linen 2 times. The staff is very polite and hardworking. Communication in our modest English and sign language has not been canceled.
The food is beyond praise. Meat, fish, cheeses, sweets, fruits - everything your heart desires, the choice is huge. Of the things that immediately impressed us were crayfish, mussels, a meter-long smoked fish, which the chef immediately deftly cut into slices for beer, shish kebabs and kebabs right off the grill. In general, you can't list everything. I liked that you could take with you, for example, a plate of fruit to your room or drink a cocktail on the way, and leave the container in special houses on the territory of the hotel, from where the staff would then pick them up. Very tasty local Ephesus beer, wine for an amateur for alcohol, cocktails are somehow at least alcoholic, although there is a large variety of local ones. A lot of imported alcohol, but although we had an ultra all-inclusive, they really couldn’t explain to us why Baileys, for example, and Sheridan were not included in this ultra, although at first it was said only for a fee, elite long-aged alcohol with price tags.
The beach is super, the sunset is smooth from the shore and from the piers, the sea is clean. There is a small sand for children. At first there were enough sunbeds, then Russian vacationers arrived and the occupation of sunbeds both on the beach and near the pools began with the help of towels, most other vacationers came for a couple of hours and swam and went to sleep or snack, and towels waited for their owners for half a day. Near the sea and by the pool there was a super ice cream of 6 types. Snacks and drinks throughout. Animation at the level of the whole day, not stressful. For kids, the kids club has a bunch of pools and slides. There are water slides. Various shows in the evening. In general, the holiday was a success. This is the kind of hotel that I would love to come back to.
The road from Bodrum to the hotel took 2 hours. Immediately I want to leave a positive review about Anekstur and say about the excellent organization, everything was very prompt, it took 5 minutes from the exit from the airport to the departure of our bus. The road passed quickly thanks to the interesting stories of the guide and the beautiful landscapes around.
We arrived at the hotel around 6 pm and after 15 minutes we already received the keys to the room and cards for towels for the beach and pool. The staff immediately helped bring the suitcases and showed where the room was. The double room in the main Land view building is a bit old but cozy. Beautiful view of the hotel and a little even the sea was visible. If you live on the upper floors, the views from there will be even better, but then we appreciated our first floor because we didn’t have to climb the stairs when we came from the sea.
Very close to the sea from the main building.
If you want to go on foot to the beach, it takes about 2-3 minutes, but back you will need to go up a little, but if you want, you can go through the main restaurant and use the elevators.
The beach is quite large, there are stones almost everywhere in the sea and it is inconvenient to go into the sea without special shoes and you can fall, but there are places where there is only sand - on the left side of the beach and on the right, where children and their parents mostly swam. The sea is very clean, turquoise in color, the water is warm, but in the afternoon there were almost always waves and it was dangerous to swim through the stones.
At first there were enough places on the beach, then the tourists increased, and many began to take sunbeds in the evening, so in order to take a normal place with an umbrella, you had to go quite early.
Food - a lot and tasty, different types of meat, fish, twice there were crayfish, once king prawns, a lot of fruits, vegetables, sweets.
The staff tries very hard, the waiters are constantly working to please everyone.
A very big plus of the hotel is its territory. Large, well-groomed, everything is beautiful, a lot of greenery and flowers. There are also many bars to go to. My favorite Olea bar, it is very cool, beautiful view and the bartender makes very tasty cocktails, plus the waiters brought nuts and chips. Also in the evening there was often organized live music and it was very atmospheric. Sunset bar, pool bar and beach bar are also great with delicious food.
The big surprise was that wi-fi worked perfectly throughout the hotel, in the rooms on the beach, in the water park, everywhere.
We didn’t even want to go to Kusadasi, because at the hotel we could already think of what to do with ourselves, sometimes we couldn’t choose where to go in the evening. But we booked an excursion on a yacht. And they didn't regret it!
We visited three different very beautiful bays with an unreal color of the water, where you could swim and take cool pictures.
Once we went to the restaurant Ala Carte Panorama, chose the Italian menu, but everything that was ordered was not very tasty, it was tastier in the main restaurant, but you can go there for beautiful photos.
In a word, we were very satisfied with the rest and the hotel, I take off one star because it is clear that the hotel is not new and needs to be restored.
Liked:
1) The sea, the sea and once again the sea, if we consider Kusadasi, then the place of the hotel is a wonderful entry into the water both from the beach and from the pontoons. If there is a storm on the sea, there is a bay where even with a strong wind you can swim without problems. Fish come to one of the beaches and you can feed them. If you put on a mask and swim, you can see how barracudas hunt fish.
2) The huge territory of the hotel which is surrounded by greenery. Pine trees and local shrubs with flowers grow all around. There are many recreation areas on the territory of the hotel, you will definitely not be bored.
3) Food - the food is tasty and plentiful. Several types of meat, several types of fish. It can be seen that the cook's hands are growing from the place that you need everything juicy and tasty. Vegetables and fruits for every taste.
4) Staff - the staff is very polite and caring.
5) Rooms - we took Ground View and were not mistaken due to the greenery, it was not hot, although there was air conditioning, we hardly used it. Even from the first floor you could see the sea.
We arrived at the hotel at 6 pm, the road from Bodrum took 2.5 hours, there are plenty of picturesque views outside the window, so it’s comfortable.
At the reception, they filled out a paper that we had no signs of illness, and the room in the main building overlooking the pine trees)) was ours!
Quite a decent room with no signs of wear and tear, everything is ok!
The most amazing thing is that the ficuses in the corridors grow right in the flower beds and not in pots, and some have reached the ceiling!
The hotel is on a mountainside and you need to walk a lot, in terms of "all inclusive" it is very good and we were not scared. For the rest of the sloths, there are a lot of elevators, on the floors, from the restaurant to the pool from the pool to the beach, in general, if you are too lazy to walk, you can ride.
The cleanliness is amazing! Employees in masks and gloves, we are offered to protect ourselves as much as possible but do not insist on wearing a mask, although you must have a mask with you. The food is good, you point with your finger what they put you and they don’t be greedy, I showed that a little bit. If there was a queue of 3 people, then the employees quickly solved this problem.
The sea is a magical aquamarine color, there were enough sunbeds, but it is possible that there will be problems when the hotel is fully loaded.
There are a lot of locations in the hotel, you can sit alone and lie))
We went by minibus to Kusadasi, 18 minutes with a stop at 3 hotels. The price for two is $1 and 1 lira. The city is very cozy and lively. You can shop but a little more expensive than on the Antalya coast.
Great resort, great hotel!
Near Ephesus! You can go and wander without excursions!
I recommend!
1. Check-in went quickly and without problems. As it should be for a 5 * hotel, we did not carry suitcases, there are people specially designated for this. They settled us in a family room for 4 people (although we were with my husband alone). There were no fees for this. The room was clean and for two, well, very spacious: 2 rooms and a bathroom. The mini bar was replenished every day (soda, juice, water, fanta, cola). They brought us a bottle of wine and fruit as a present. This made us happy.
2. Unfortunately, this hotel is for people with a crown on their heads. For 3 days of rest, we never met a single company of ordinary cheerful people (except perhaps the Turks who came for the weekend). All the rest were so "important" that their faces spoiled the whole impression.
3. The food is very varied, the choice is huge, BUT it all tasted like a C grade. Most pleased that the bar is non-stop.
4. The location of the hotel for those who like to retire. There is nowhere to go around.
And yes, if you do not have sports training, then it is better not to go here. It was difficult for my husband to climb from the beach to the room, since the hotel is located on a hill.
5. Sea. For me, this is a different story. I can not swim everywhere and this is exactly the case when I was not comfortable. Around floated all sorts of leaves, particles of algae.
6. But the pools are very pleased.
A lot of them!! ! If you want more energetic music, then relax near the pool, which has animators.
7. And the actual animation. Guys are great! We became friends with them from the first day. Without them, the holiday would not have been a success. They speak Turkish (their mother tongue), English and very little Russian.
I was very upset by the lack of discos, but the coronavirus pandemic is to blame.
My husband and I entertained ourselves and the visitors of the hotel along with the animators. A lot of people looked at us like we were crazy, but guys, this is a vacation! Need to have fun!
After 3 days in this hotel, we became uninteresting and we went further, which we never regretted.
If you prefer to lie on a sun lounger, then this hotel is the best, but if you want activity, then there is nothing to do here for a week.
We are glad that we visited this beautiful location, but most likely we will not go there again.
We looked at many reviews of the region of Kusadasi, Bodrum and Marmaris, for a family hotel holiday with a small child we chose Pine Bay and were very pleased!
Many people write that the hotel does not correspond to 5 *, it's not! He matches! But budget 5 * in the HV category (territory, food, beach, room size, service)!
We arrived at 9 am (we arrived from Bodrum airport by the way for 1.40, we drove back 2.5 hours). They immediately put on the bracelets, gave me the forms to fill out and sent them to breakfast.
Check-in after 14.00 according to the rules, but on the 3rd attempt, $ 10 accelerated this process, and we got the room at about 11 (after breakfast).
We lived in a family bungalow with 3 rooms (1 of them an entrance hall with an extra bed), each with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms (with bath and shower), bathroom accessories were replenished as needed.
Slippers were 2 pairs. Cleaned well, towels changed every day, bed every 2 days. The mini bar was replenished every day.
We really liked the room, it was clean, spacious, and everything worked in it, there were no problems with the safe, yes, maybe the furniture is not the newest, but these are all trifles ...The biggest plus of our room is the terrace overlooking sea (the windows of our bedroom also overlooked the sea).
The staff is very friendly, they speak English and some Russian.
The beach is huge - for every taste, there is a paddling pool with small pebbles and sand for children, small pebbles and large stones, there are also 4 breakwaters with ladders into the water. When the water is crystal clear, there were waves for a couple of days and garbage and algae were washed ashore, if possible, the staff clean them up. Since we arrived on Sunday, it was problematic to find sunbeds by 12 (Turks come to rest on weekends), on weekdays there are much fewer people.
It is very convenient that you can go down to the beach on a panoramic elevator, it is very convenient, there is the same elevator to the main restaurant.
In general, the territory is very comfortable and thoughtful, since the bungalow rooms are located in traverses, there is no inconvenience of a steep ascent or descent.
Meals: very varied, something new every day, beef meat, chicken, turkey, 2-3 types of grilled fish (mackerel, perch, dorado), a lot of fruits (watermelons, melons, peaches, nectarines, grapes, strawberries, kiwi, pears, apples), just enough.
There are delicious snacks in snack bars (I especially liked the snack bar near the Marina (at the very beginning of the bay). Confectionery with natural Turkish coffee and delicious tea, ice cream is very tasty! More than 5 types from 12-17 on the beach and near the pool, in the same place did something new every day for a snack like shawarma, churos, baked potatoes, rice with chicken and something else.
ANIMATION: I never paid much attention to animation, but here it is at a decent level. There were very interesting evening shows for children and adults, in general, the entire animation team with an acrobatic circus direction, so every evening there was something new.
Wi-Fi: free, weak, but we don't care. Normal was on the beach and near the pool.
The only negative is the cocktails, they are really tasteless here. The rest of the alcohol is normal, wine for dinner is red, white, rose good and you can drink beer.
Thanks to the guide Anex tour Alenyo, a very professional approach, everything is very affordable, without vparivanie and free shopping tours. We bought a 2 in 1 Ephesus + Pamukkale tour from her and were very pleased. Also thanks to the guide Olga (Volga) for an interesting tour.
In general, we were very satisfied with our stay and the hotel.
And I really hope that my review will be useful to someone, the average rating for this hotel is definitely higher than 7!
The choice of food is varied, drinks at the bar are not bad.
The staff is welcoming and friendly.
And of course, the animators made our vacation truly unforgettable.
The kids went every day to the mini club, the girls who work there are very good with the kids, the evening disco for the kids is also top notch!
Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
