The renovation did not affect the historical appearance of the hotel - inside is the same elegant French style of the late 19th century without fundamental changes. Among the innovations: the first Bocuse brand restaurant in Paris - Le Brasserie du Louvre - with French cuisine according to the recipes of the famous chef Paul Bocuse, was opened in the hotel, and the already familiar bar with herbal cocktails L'Officine du Louvre changed its image to neoclassical. In addition, the hotel has updated its 24-hour StayFit fitness center with the latest equipment to ensure guests who exercise while traveling do not change their usual sports regimen.

I didn’t even expect that for quite reasonable money you can stay in a good room of a well-known hotel located in a beautiful historic building of the second half of the 19th century in the very center of Paris (1st quarter, to the Louvre - a minute walk, to the Tuileries Park - 3 minutes, to Operas - 8-10, and all this is practically in sight; most of the standard tourist attractions can be reached on foot).

At the same time, good friendly service, tasty and hearty breakfasts, a fairly spacious clean room, a comfortable bed, a beautiful view from the window to the square and the Louvre. Annoying little things also took place (as without them): some difficulties with air conditioning (removable), an old and not always predictable shower (the trouble of many hotels in different parts of the world). But in general - very good.
