This hotel was offered to us as an alternative to the Victotia 2 * hotel, since the latter did not confirm availability for our dates. The hotel was chosen on the basis of the cheaper, but not far from the center, the better. This hotel fits that description perfectly. From the pros: - location - 9th arrondissement, the area is calm, fairly quiet and within walking distance of both Montmartre and the Champs Elysees; - quite acceptable continental breakfasts - croissants, baguettes, yoghurts, curds, butter, jams, fruits, juices, milk, tea, coffee (delicious-custard); - Responsive, though not particularly speaking English, staff; - cleaning the rooms and changing towels, toiletries, taking out the trash every day; - normal wifi even in the rooms; - the hotel has an elevator, which was nice, especially when checking in and out, because going up and down a narrow spiral staircase would be completely inconvenient; - there are many shops near the hotel and there is even an excellent supermarket where you can buy everything for humane euro-money; - right next to the hotel there is a bus stop number 85, which takes you to all the main attractions and the metro station is also close; Of the minuses: - the whole situation in the hotel is very modest, old, dilapidated; - very thin walls between the rooms and the corridor, strong audibility; - the rooms are small, there are VERY small ones, and they have absolute minimalism - a bed, a table, a chair, a small niche in the wall instead of a closet, bedside shelves - and that's all; - an unpleasant smell, sometimes - apparently someone is being poisoned, but with us no living creatures were noticed - neither in the room nor on the territory of the hotel; - there are no air conditioners in the rooms, we were in March, it was cool, but in the summer, they say, it's hellishly hot in Paris, maybe there is general air conditioning for the entire building and that's enough. … More ▾ This hotel was offered to us as an alternative to the Victotia 2 * hotel, since the latter did not confirm availability for our dates. Summary: I recommend considering this hotel to not picky and active people who come to Paris to walk around the city all day, and return to the hotel only to change clothes, wash and sleep.

The bathroom is large, the elevator is spacious. Really clean. Breakfast for Parisian hotels is just super, buffet: muesli, ham-sausage-cheese, eggs, buns, croissants, coffee-tea-juice, jams, fruit puree. The bed is comfortable, changed 1 time, towels - every other day. The staff is friendly. There is internet. Territory at the hotel, of course, no. We had fun, respectively, also ourselves. So on the excursion program it is not necessary from the hotel. The windows, of course, are not on the Louvre, but the cost is not !! ! The price-quality ratio is absolutely justified.

People do not get fooled by the beautiful interior. The rooms are really bugs in crowds. They are trying to destroy them but to no avail !!!! ! Changed number three times But these creatures are everywhere. The only thing that deserves respect is that the concierge himself, knowing about this, suggested another hotel (probably from the same alliance) Lautrec opera 3 * It turned out to be much better and even closer to all the sights. … More ▾ People do not get fooled by the beautiful interior. If you still settled in Lafayette, then immediately check for creatures, it's easy and just - turn the bed over and everything will become visible

For the Parisian "three rubles" is very well. The location couldn't be better. Breakfast is decent, even in comparison with the Spanish "treshka" (we flew to Paris from Spain), where traditionally the food is good. The room is spacious enough even in comparison with the Spanish (Pineda de Mar, Stella). Although it is formally drawn that drinks and food are not to be brought, no one "digged" to us, although they passed by the reception with packages. … More ▾ For the Parisian "three rubles" is very well. Although it is formally drawn that drinks and food are not to be brought, no one "digged" to us, although they passed by the reception with packages. By the way, there was a fridge in the room. The only drawback is the noise from the street (the room faced the street), and on June 27-28 it was very hot in Paris and it was impossible to sleep without open windows. For those who are lucky with the windows inside, I think it’s generally wonderful. Considering that we went to see Paris, and not the hotel, everything was great.

Bedbugs walk in the room on foot, and everywhere - on the curtains, in the bath, in bed. We were forced to sleep with the lights on. I'm afraid they even brought it home. The TV in the room didn't work, even though I spoke to reception 5 times. Fourth time in Paris, but the last crossed out everything - just in shock. … More ▾ Bedbugs walk in the room on foot, and everywhere - on the curtains, in the bath, in bed. We rested in April 2011. The interior, of course, is far from luxurious, but everything is quite decent. Room is clean, breakfast is ok. In general, for this money is quite good. The only thing that unpleasantly surprised was a categorical ban on the introduction of any drinks and food. Considering that the hotel itself does not have a bar or restaurant where you can have something to drink or have a bite to eat. … More ▾ We rested in April 2011. Linen and towels are white and changed frequently. Meals - as usual in Europe: rolls, croissants, muesli, juice, coffee, milk, jam, cheese, ham, sausage, eggs. Enough to live quietly until dinner. What bothered me a little: there was an announcement in the hall that you can’t bring food and drinks to the room, a fine of 50 euros. The fridge is empty, not even the minibar. What is it, and you can’t put some water? We ignored the announcement, everything went without fines. In general, you can live. The location is good, next to the metro. The hotel corresponds to its stars, there was nothing broken or broken. The staff is friendly. Reading reviews of other hotels, I think that we were lucky.

I am an adult girl, traveled a lot and saw a lot. Since the mood for rest should be positive, therefore, everything must be considered from this position. The hotel is quite decent, wonderfully located: on foot even to the Opera House, even to the Louvre (if you don't walk to the scrap). It’s very good for Prague treshkas, an ordinary breakfast, not meager, acceptable, we paid extra 80 euros for a large room, maybe if someone is more persistent, they will knock it out for free, but it was easier for us. … More ▾ I am an adult girl, traveled a lot and saw a lot. It is quiet, clean, the plumbing is new, the elevator is really good and the noise from the street did not bother us, by Moscow standards, these are not traffic jams and not noise, and their movement starts later than ours, as it seemed to me. Cheap food in "Creps", and, of course, in McDonald's on the same street, I don't consider eateries at all, but in Brothers average prices, large portions, delicious. There is no negative from the hotel, you must always measure when you go to 3 stars don't ask for 5. For a trio, it's very good.

Given that most excursions start from the Grad Opera, then you should choose a hotel nearby (of course, if you are not a fan of taking the metro, you can choose even in the suburbs). Center - this is district 9. From our hotel it was 10 minutes to the Opera, 15 to the Louvre, 20 to Notre Dame Cathedral, 25 to the top of Montmartre, etc. , that is, everything is within walking distance.
Where the windows of the hotel face turned out to be very important. Since there is no air conditioning in the hotel, the windows had to be opened. The roads are about 1 meter from the building, the flow of cars and especially roaring motorcycles is simply terrifying and it all seems to be in your room.
Type of food - buffet. And this is a mountain of croissants, the same mountain of baguettes, trays with butter, jam, cheese curds, ham slices, sausages, cheese, muesli of 2 types, boiled eggs, fruits (though canned), tea, coffee, milk, juice. All of this is unlimited.
The rooms at the Opé re Lafayette are different. At first, we were put in a small room with windows overlooking literally a stone bag - a meter from the wall (these are all rooms overlooking the courtyard). We asked to be moved to another with windows overlooking La Fayette Street, which was done. The room has a large bed, sofa, table, wardrobe, 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, TV and refrigerator. Of the dishes - glasses, the rest could be taken without problems at the reception (in case you need plates, etc. ). All rooms facing the street have a balcony.
The bathroom has just been refurbished, it just shines, there is everything you need, including a bidet and a powerful modern hair dryer.
Linen was changed every other day, towels every day, soap, napkins replenished without waiting for their complete disappearance.
The employees are quiet, inconspicuous, smiling, understanding English.
Yes, the elevator from the hotel is normal, given that in some it can accommodate no more than 1 person.
Absolutely no way to iron your things, no ironing board. Even the only iron in not very good condition.
The hotel at the entrance has a stand with the proposed tours, city maps, even coupons for discounts in different stores. Therefore, there will be no lack of information, even with complete “unpreparedness”
In general, if you do not pay attention to the noise from the street, the lack of air conditioning and the conditions for ironing clothes, then the hotel can be safely recommended.
