The hotel is 2 *, not 3, as in advertising (written at the entrance). Reading the reviews of tourists, I was ready for the worst, and compared to the horrors described earlier, it even seemed to me not bad - the toilet drained normally, there was no mold in the bathroom, it was clean enough. They cleaned every day, at least they changed towels and wiped the floor in the bathroom (they already wrote about the quality of the towels and the bed, I agree). The hair dryer is really broken - the handle falls off, but it works. In general, everything - like worn clothes - performs its functions, but does not shine. Among the shortcomings of my room - the windows overlooked the square, I arrived at the weekend and it was very noisy at midnight - people were returning from the cinema (or the theater, located around the corner of the hotel), some motorcyclists rode, the light hit the windows from advertising, despite thick curtains. It was useless to try to sleep until one in the morning (or even later). In addition, I had the impression of some kind of constant lack of light - there were few lamps, I got up early - it was still dark, I came late - it was already dark, and constantly drew the curtains so that I could not be seen from the street. But you know, despite everything, I was satisfied with everything. After all, I came to watch Paris, walk its streets and squares until late, sit in cafes. Well, just for an overnight stay, this hotel was quite suitable for the money that I paid. Yes, there was no refrigerator in the room, I had to tie the purchased cheeses in a bag to the bars on the window. Breakfast is really poor. But there is a confectionery nearby, in the cafe building itself, and across the square - the Monoprix market (from 9-00 to 21-00 every day, seven days a week). In general, you can live! But before the Opera, I walked along the Grand Boulevards, about 25 minutes. And not far from the Cité . Although in Paris, wherever you go, everywhere is interesting. So I'm happy with my vacation. Yes, Wi-Fi in the hotel is paid, free in the cafe downstairs.

2 * does not mean a homeless person, this is a level of service, and not a level of cleaning and decoration of rooms. In reality, this hotel is a bum and a rooming house. In reality, this hotel is a bum and a rooming house. Very small rooms, shabby walls, unwashed curtains and windows unwashed for years, bed linen washed not in years, but decades, towels washed to holes with torn ends... A toilet that flushes after the third time, a fungus in the bathroom, a torn shower hose and dirty blind. . . Continue? Or it’s already clear that it’s not worth going here, even despite the good location for which it was chosen. Service? It didn't exist at all. The most interesting thing is that for 20 euros we were given the opportunity to choose a room. We went around about 5 rooms and everywhere the same thing.

It's embarrassing to talk about the stars. For 15 days of stay, the bed was changed 1 time on day 11. The room and bathroom were not cleaned at all. after I complained to the reception they brought soap and shampoo. towels were with holes and differed little from dirty ones. The shelf above the washbasin was broken, as was the washbasin. … More ▾ It's embarrassing to talk about the stars. For 15 days of stay, the bed was changed 1 time on day 11. The room and bathroom were not cleaned at all. after I complained to the reception they brought soap and shampoo. towels were with holes and differed little from dirty ones. The shelf above the washbasin was broken, as was the washbasin. the door to the toilet did not close. once I noticed that the attendants were digging through my things, though nothing was missing, but the toothbrush and some of the cosmetics ended up in a bag for sweets in which there was a terrible mess. the photo of the toilet that I posted on the site does not need comments. For breakfast there was only a croissant with jam and butter, tea or coffee. In the cafeteria, a woman threw out the garbage with the same hands, grabbed croissants and carried them to the tables. since they washed the dishes right there, I could not help but notice that dirty rag with which they washed it. Turning over the "unused" glass 2 times, I found sugar residues and coffee stains. I was told that economy class hotels in Paris are all bad, but when I asked the tourists with whom I went on excursions, I realized that this is not so. Having paid the same price for a room as I did, others complained that the rooms were small or that for breakfast there were only 2 sorts of cheese and 1 sort of ham, in a word, little things. . . and no one complained about the cleanliness

When they arrived, they were amazed.
The hotel has no stars for a long time. The name of the "hotel" (more precisely, a rooming house) is simply indicated on the facade and no three stars...
We went inside... The elevator to lift things did not work.
There was 1 awful dirty elevator upholstered in dirty used carpet. This elevator could fit a maximum of one person, but without things.
As a result, things were dragged on themselves to the 4th floor by themselves.
When we entered the room, an even greater shock awaited us - dirt, blood stains on the bedspread, a broken closet door leaning against the wall.
I won’t say anything about sanitary equipment at all.
We spent the night there and realized that even though we paid in advance, it was impossible to stay there.
It was beyond our strength to survive another night there. I had to pack up and move to a real three-star hotel.
We just crossed the Place de Republique and found a hotel with a decent facade, a real three stars - Meslay Republique.
The room cost 100 euros per day, the room is clean, comfortable, a completely different matter.

I had a business trip, so I agreed to this hotel option. This is a level of about 1.5 stars, untidy, in room No. 29 I found a large layer of dust on the bedside table, the lamp above the bed did not work, the blanket was worn, untidy, with holes from cigarettes. The bathroom was just a tub with no curtains. Therefore, after taking a shower, all the water was on the floor. Washed towels, sometimes with unwashed stains. The view from the window - on the shabby wall of the hotel with little or no sunlight. If facing the street - noisy all night. Breakfast is just awful! Serve 1 tasteless croissant, 1 dried bun, 1 piece of butter and jam. Coffee or tea, only black tea from a bag. The situation in the dining room is unpleasant, the basement is damp, cramped, they immediately wash the dishes, rattle cups. Near the hotel there is quite a decent restaurant, well prepared, always full of people. Prices are quite affordable, there is a special menu for breakfast (it is better to eat here than at the hotel). The only advantage of the hotel is its very good location. Metro - 2 minutes walk, 5 lines at once, 30-40 minutes walk to Notre Dame. The streets nearby are decent, many shops, cafes, decent people (not a Negro quarter). I do not recommend this hotel to tourists, especially those who are traveling to Paris for the first time.

In the morning, during breakfast (in a damp basement), they brought a kettle full of bleach (they forgot to wash it !!! ), in the morning they tried to talk with the administrator at the reception (there were 42 of us from Moscow and everyone was furious), he only waved his hands and gestured on the door, but we arrived with a 5-year-old child. People, we paid 170t for 3 people in 7 days in Paris to "INTELLIGENT COMPANY" - DSBW, we were just scammed!! ! in the end we moved to another wonderful hotel for our money.
P. S. the hotel does not have a plate of france tourism mines, they write that it is 3 stars, but on the signboard there are 2 painted over with brown paint!!!!! ! stars. Attention!! ! do not confuse this hotel http://www. hotel-bristol-paris. federal-hotel. com with the real http://www.hotel-bristol.com/default. htm
