Great holiday in the Canary Islands
I can’t say that my wife and I traveled a lot, but we were at sea more than once and in different countries. And they still did not dare to fly to the Canary Islands. It was not clear: why for a rather big price and so far. But one day they decided and flew with a transfer on the way there in Paris with an interval of 7 hours (we chose it on purpose to have time to see Paris a little). We traveled to the center by bus - long and slow. Only 2-3 hours left for a walk around Paris. Brief impressions: a beautiful, very beautiful city, with people of very different nationalities, with museums, exhibition pavilions, shops, but there are also heaps of garbage, not in the center, really. We returned to the airport by train - it's easier and faster, only the landscapes are railway.
Tenerife greeted us with the sun, bright colors, good weather and a refreshing sea, or rather the ocean. Thanks to the travel agency "Sacvoyage" for offering us the Grand Hotel Bahia del Duque Resort. A magnificent hotel located on the ocean, near the center of Adeje, among beautiful nature. The rooms are small - 24 square meters, but this is the only, and even then controversial, drawback of the hotel. Service, maintenance, cleaning - everything is at a very high level, and the kitchen is just a fairy tale, varied, vrusno, beautiful. The beach near the hotel is public, behind a fence (you can exit through the gate, from which the key is given at the reception) across the road along which vacationers walk along the coast and cars serving hotels drive. But you can sunbathe on the territory of the hotel, go out to swim in the ocean and return again to the sun lounger at the hotel.
From the excursions we took a trip to the Teide volcano - first by bus, then by funicular, and then on foot - whoever has the strength. Above are black stones, and below are clouds - we have risen above the clouds - in the gap of which a blue window is visible. Very beautiful. One day we watched a show of fur seals, dolphins, killer whales.
And we took another ferry ride to Gomera Island with its horizontal rains.
Time on the island flew by and we flew home. Returned through Amsterdam with a connection between flights 40 minutes. The plane was delayed from Tenerife, I overtook a little on the way, but we arrived in Amsterdam 35 minutes before the plane's departure to Kyiv. We ran to the plane and this is not an allegory - it's true. There is a long queue at the border control. We walked past the line to the indignant cries of those standing in it to the border guard, who led us to the border control and then again ran to the gate. We had time, there was no luggage, it arrived only the next day. And goodbye Duty Free!! ! Past.
Something like this. Now we understand what a holiday in Tenerife is - it's GREAT!
