Hotel. Not ice. It's not even European **. These are our Russians**. The only plus is the very good staff, friendly, sociable, welcoming and understanding. Cons - climb up the hill, dampness, STRONG audibility, drafts, the doors of almost all the apartments are constantly slamming, of which there are a lot.

Cons - climb up the hill, dampness, STRONG audibility, drafts, the doors of almost all the apartments are constantly slamming, of which there are a lot. No internet, no wifi, smells bad from the buffet-restaurant.
Las Americas (south of Tenerife) - for beach lovers. The south of Tenerife is practically Turkey. If you want impressions, you have to drive around the island. The north of the island is beautiful, although the guides really impose the south - Las Americas, Los Cristianos.
Excursions. The guides who bring you from the airport, and the hotel workers, offer excursions 3-4 times more expensive than if you take the bus (they are clean there, they go strictly on schedule and it’s very easy to plan your day and route for them). Excursions in agencies are 2 times more expensive, and no better than if you go on your own.
Car rental is very convenient, there are a lot of offers on the island.
Be sure to visit the Teide volcano (there is no need to take the funicular to the very top, just take a regular bus to the volcano (17 euros there, 7 euros back) and take a walk nearby. Climbing the funicular (25 euros) you will not see anything new for yourself.
Visit the Mask. Former pirate hideout. Put on your sneakers, go down to the gorge. Incredible experience! Wander around the local village. Very nice.
La Laguna. A wonderful town. The temperature is +20, you can take a light jacket with you.
Los Gigantes. Be sure to visit!! ! Do not get lost just looking for a way to the beach)) But you will not regret it, a truly picturesque place, I almost cried with happiness that I have the opportunity to see such beauty. Especially beautiful at sunset. Tall cliffs, a sharp cliff, the ocean splashes... Wonderful impressions.
Santa Cruz. Didn't leave much of an impression.
Santiago de Teide. There is nothing to do there.
Kitchen. Prices in the menu of restaurants and cafes do not include local tax. So if you order a dish for 6 euros, get ready to pay 9 euros, and if you still get a drink not ordered by you, but as if from an institution, get ready to pay about 2 euros for it.
And be vigilant. On the island, a third of the inhabitants are unemployed. Don't be fooled by super deals and watch your stuff.
In the hotel you can take the key to the safe, and on the beaches there are Boxes, you can leave valuables for storage.
