Hello dear tourists! We rested in this hotel about 2 weeks ago from 24.07. 12-04.08. 12. I will start my story about the hotel, of course, and at the end I will share my impressions about the excursions. As a rule, people still write with which airlines they flew, what they were fed on the plane, what who ate and drank, but I think this is of no interest to anyone and will not affect the rest)

Location. In general, the hotel is located very well in relation to everything. It takes 30-40 minutes to get to the airport by bus, to the beach - 3 minutes on foot. As soon as you leave the hotel - and you are already in the city - there are places to go, walk, eat, buy souvenirs and so on.

Beach. To get to the beach, you need to go down to the -2 floor of the hotel and head to the pool. There is also a gate to the beach, which opens with the same key card as the room. You go down the stairs and go out to the promenade and actually to the beach. The beach near the hotel is called the same as the hotel - Torviscas.
Many people write in reviews that the beaches of Tenerife are a hopeless dermis and cannot be compared with the beaches of Turkey and Egypt. I personally liked the beach very much. The sand there is gray, very fine and pleasant to the body. I didn't see any debris or dirt. The beach is very wide. Before the trip, I watched a video on youtube from this beach and somehow got upset. But when I already looked at the place, it looks very dignified. As for the beach, the only negative is the paid sunbeds. They stood at the time of our holiday 15 euros (2 sun loungers + umbrella). But there is a good alternative - to buy an ordinary beach umbrella near the hotel for 6-9 euros.

Nutrition. I would recommend taking all inclusive meals. We chose this type of food. Yes, indeed, near the hotel there are a lot of different cafes, restaurants where you can sit and eat. What can I say - even on the beach, there is McDonald's. But I prefer not to think about where to eat and how they will feed you there.

The food at the hotel was perfect for us. Large selection of meats, salads, side dishes and more. On hotel days there were seafood - mussels, shrimp, grilled fish, etc. etc. The only thing you can find fault with is sweet. By the way, baking is also not particularly shiny. Every day they cook the same several types of cakes, but some of them are very tasty. Of course, this hotel does not have such a choice of sweets, as in Turkey and Egypt. But there were all sorts of puddings, ice cream balls, so there is something to choose from. In the morning and in the evening in the restaurant you need to order the waiter what you will drink - beer, wine, etc. , but for lunch you yourself pick up drinks from the vending machines. The waiters understand English, so there were no problems with this. The restaurant is located on the -2 floor of the hotel. As for the “drink”, I also liked everything. There are 2 bars - one in the hotel lobby, the other near the pool. Drinks are ok, nothing to complain about.
I repeat once again that it is better to choose all inclusive, as drinks are not very cheap there - 3-7 euros per glass. Well, I also think it's a shame when someone takes everything on the ball, and you sit and watch.

Number. Ordinary standard room. There is a spacious balcony. Cleaned every day, no complaints. There were 2 Russian channels. Of course, the hotel itself is already a bit old - somewhere there is a crack in the tile, somewhere there is a small stain. In general, I liked the room, but not the limit of perfection. And let's not forget that it's 4 stars.

City. If you like shopping and noisy places, then Costa Adeje is a little bit different. It is best to take a taxi (there are a lot of them near the hotel) and for 7 euros one way to get to the city of Las Americas. The pride of all Tenerife is the Zara store, which is located there. Therefore, you can take a taxi to Zara (10 minutes drive), and you will figure it out on the spot. There are many shops, cafes and shopping centers.
People.
Both the hotel staff and the locals are very friendly people. No one sent and looked askance. Everyone is smiling and waving their hands. By the way, not only pensioners rest in the hotel, as many people write in reviews, but also ordinary families and young couples.

Souvenirs. There are no special souvenirs here. I would advise you to buy a fridge magnet) You can also buy Canary honey rum (called Ron Miel ARTEMI) and banana liqueur (just buy Banana Cream - it's like Baileys, there is also just banana liqueur, but very sugary in taste). They also have their Canarian sauces Mojo-Rojo (very tasty) and Almagrote (with goat cheese - for an amateur). For lovers of gardening, you can buy seeds of various ecotic plants (you can’t plant them in the garden, but they can grow on the windowsill).

Excursions and impressions in general. We visited 3 excursions - the Teide volcano, the island of La Gomera and Loro Park. These are the most visited and, in my opinion, the most interesting excursions.
If you're short on time, be sure to visit Loro Parque and Teide - it's definitely a must see. In conclusion, I want to say that we were satisfied with the rest. I especially liked the climate, there was no heat at all - 25 degrees during the day. I liked everything, but we wouldn’t have come a second time, something didn’t hook us) In Crete, for example, I somehow liked it more. And for architecture lovers, there is nothing to do there at all. Tenerife is an amateur island. I hope my review has helped someone. I recommend the hotel, you can safely choose. I wish you a pleasant stay in Tenerife!
