Hotel Esmeralda
In Las Americas, basically all 4 * hotels. In the middle is the oldest area
with "communist" buildings, where Esmeralda stands. The hotel is rarely completely overloaded. In early June, the hotel was mostly pensioners. In the evenings they danced the Spanish tango, it was very funny to watch them, there were also various local shows with snakes, parrots. How many did not ask the DJ to put on European music to dance: in any! Therefore, after dinner, all the people went to other places, restaurants, night clubs on the beach where live music was always played. At the end of June, the “main” mass of tourists began to arrive. The food in Esmeralda is normal, but sometimes the chef is drunk. Either an omelet is liquid like water, or it will soak something else, pancakes are far from our Russians. There are not many fruits in the restaurant. From the monotonous menu in the hotel, everything gets boring, and you go to restaurants on the beach. It is better to take all inclusive, drinks in Esmeralda for free. The British just didn’t leave the bar for days on end, they just crawled away. The pools are warm, slightly chlorinated, they were cleaned every morning. There is 1 jacuzzi. And so everything that is written about the room service at the hotel, everything is true. In the rooms, the toilet has trouble! Refrigerators are open in some rooms. The hall and Esmeralda's main staircase are all in gray marble, I remember it.
Animation is but not the same as in friendly Turkey, Egypt. They did little with the people. Although the children cried on the way to the airport upon departure, it was a pity to part with them. Only they went to the children's corner!
