vacationers in the hotel are mostly English 18-23 or already over 45 years old, who come to Magaluf mainly to drink : ) Yes, competition from ours and Russians : ))) the whole city is designed for them, restaurants, bars, clubs - everything is under the English are imprisoned. especially since vacationers of the resort are mostly poor people, so you will have to look for an intelligent audience here. Go out to the city center in the evening / night (any day of the week) and you will immediately understand: drunken English teenagers who sing songs in the streets are in the order of things. it is interesting to look at them, because these are people without complexes (sometimes in a good sense of the word), they can dress in different costumes and walk around the city in groups, like at a masquerade : ) people often come here to celebrate stag and hen parties, so you will definitely find such "thematic" groups.
Magaluf is the center of Mallorca's nightlife, but I would not advise lovers of higher level entertainment to go there: apart from the English drunk guys and relatively low prices (usually pay 10-30 euros for entry into the club and get a free bar all night), you are here especially you won't find anything. The BSM club is the biggest in Mallorca and one of the best in Europe (as they say) is impressive! we were at the official closing, Calvin Harris played, it was a very good show, but we didn’t want to go the second time, because realized that they were already tired of drunken Englishmen : )
We were in September, because some clubs were closed or half empty. They say that the peak is in July, this is the time when schoolchildren and students who have lost their parents come to Magaluf, so you can imagine what it is : )
For good clubs, we went to Palma! the main club Titos is very decent, with a solid (and sober! ) audience, the entrance fee of 20 euros is 100% justified, and I got aesthetic pleasure for a year ahead! in September it worked Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun, but it may work all week in the summer. Plus, there are many other establishments in Palma, so it’s definitely worth going there!
Plus, we rented a car and drove around the island. I highly recommend this! in Magaluf you will not find real Spain, but if you go north or east, you will see many small beautiful towns that have preserved the spirit of antiquity: 16th century houses, old cobbled streets, ancient castles and churches, bays with blue and azure water, and Of course, the most beautiful landscapes! For this alone it is worth going to Mallorca!
From the beach in Magaluf there are boats for a two-hour excursion (price 17 euros) along the coast. I advise you to go see the coast from the sea: impressive! and besides, then the ship stops in a beautiful bay for swimming, you can jump into the water directly from the ship.
Separately, I will say about Palma: a very beautiful city. you really need to set aside 2 days for it! there is something to see, many different attractions, and plus go shopping. near the cathedral there is a tourist information kiosk where you can get a map and various brochures for free, they will tell you everything and tell you. you can go to Palma by bus (3.05 euros), which runs on schedule (it is available at the hotel and at any stop), or by taxi (the price is always on the meter, to the hotel 22 euros).
