After many years of searching, I finally found a hotel that suits me almost 100 percent.
Advantages of Lago Park -
- Low price.
- Large two-room family rooms with two balconies.
- Friendly, including Russian-speaking staff.
- Proximity to the beach.
- The beach itself with fine fine sand and a long gentle entry into the sea.
- Location in the heart of active life. (Gulyalovo) Restaurants, shops, people
- Silence.
- Well-equipped in-room kitchen.
- Russian channels on TV.
- 3 types of internet. Free in the bar and lobby, paid in rooms and very paid for woodpeckers.
- Unobtrusive adult animation. (For example, a gun shooting competition)
- Lovely children's animation.
- Wonderful evening shows.
- Proximity to the water park.
- The proximity of any children's entertainment. (Ponyland, trampolines, including those in the sea, bungee. )
- A very rich table on the system "All inclusive".
- Proximity to an inexpensive chain supermarket.
- Full bathroom with bathtub and bidet.
Cons of Lago Park.
- Not the most comfortable pull out sofa in the living room.
- Stupid spring on the living room door.
And all of the above applies not to five stars, but to inexpensive apartments.
Lago Park is located at the crossroads of the main, very busy street of Playa de Muro. Despite this, there is no expected noise and smog. It takes 3 minutes 18 seconds to go to the sea, but it's boring to go that way. There, along the way, you can wander around the shops and stare at all the sparkling crap or make a fleeting derbaliz in one of the bars.
Playa de Muro is one of the most beautiful coves in the Mediterranean and the best in Mallorca. I have never seen such clean and pleasant sand before. A strange phenomenon is associated with this sand. If in Turkey or Greece on a hot day you jump barefoot on hot sand from shade to shade, then you can walk on it quite comfortably.
Least of all, I expected to meet animation and entertainment in a hotel of this class. But I was wrong. Evening performances are so good that guests come from other hotels. There were magicians, an imitator of Michael Jackson, flamenco, Chinese acrobats, erotans from a blonde, etc.
2 animators take care of children in turn and, which is good, they have entertainment for both very small children and teenagers.
Generally good with kids. The entrance to the water is so gentle that you can not look around every minute in search of your bathing children.
Ponylandia is located five minutes from the hotel. There you put the child on the pony you like, do a couple of laps with him, and then they ride on their own. This business is run by a kind, constantly a little tacky uncle and he does not limit the time of skiing. He also has a big, fun, safe parrot and a funny dog.
Nearby is a playground with three different-sized trampolines.
There is also a trampoline complex in the sea. Cool stuff. But keep in mind that a child (in a vest, of course) falling into the water from it (which they do all the time) will not be able to climb on their own. Those. You will have to constantly pull the offspring out of the water, clinging to slippery rubber. It's pretty tedious. I had enough for one such trip.
A river flows through the place. You can take bread and go feed the ducks. Or fish. There are so many of them, in the sense of fish, that they really fight with ducks for food.
Heading to this hotel, I planned that at least part of the food we would buy and cook ourselves. It is rather not a matter of saving, but the excitement of shopping at local bazaars and grocery stores. Once honestly went to the supermarket "Eroski" (Eroshka, as the local Russian-speaking people call it) and bought food. But it turned out that the food in the nearby restaurant was so good and cheap that almost no cooking was done. Let's say a dinner for four with alcohol and dishes of an above-average price category has never reached 50 euros. And just to eat cleanly without frills would cost us 25 euros at most. It got to the point that when leaving, they simply left a package of king prawns in the freezer.
Yes. Yet. The hotel bar has very professional bartenders. Somewhere the third, fourth glass was poured at the expense of the house.
In short, I think that if I can (ugh three times), I will only go to Lago Park. Especially since Lago falls into my financial standard. The price for the hotel should not exceed 25 percent of the total budget set aside for vacation.
P. S. Oh yes. Lago Park does not have a fenced area. So that's sad for a lot of people.

Booked through http://www. booking. com is a completely different hotel, which a week before arrival refused accommodation and offered HSM Lago Park instead. Booked through http://www. booking. com is a completely different hotel, which a week before arrival refused accommodation and offered HSM Lago Park instead. We drove into the unknown, got to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised - despite the unusual appearance, I liked the rooms - a studio of 2 rooms, a kitchen with a dining room and a bedroom. The kitchen has everything from spoons and plates to corkscrews and pots and pans. Every little thing that can come in handy on the farm has been thought out. In the Alcudia Mercadona supermarket, they bought huge shrimp and cooked them in their kitchen.
But our biggest pleasant surprise is the responsiveness of the staff.
Many thanks to the manager Mari Ivorra, who helped us solve all our problems - it turned out that the car that we rented in Palma, after moving to Alcudia, broke and burst the wheel, and we could not call the rental office, because we did not own Spanish, and knowledge of English would hardly be enough to present the problem. At our request, Maria called the rental office and stated our problem in a rather categorical way. The result - after 1 hour, a technician from the rental office rushed in and changed 2 wheels for us - a torn one and a spare tire, on which we arrived. Then we had to call a doctor, and Maria helped us with this. Huge thanks to her for that.
Separately, I want to say that all the staff are very smiling, positive and friendly. Rooms are cleaned (beds are made and garbage is taken out), and towels are changed daily.
And in general, the people in this town are very pleasant, we have something to compare with - this has never happened in Barcelona.
We went to Cape Formentor, a fabulous place where you want to return, to the fortress of Alcudia, I also really liked it.
Near the hotel - 200 meters away, a wonderful beach, it is also suitable for families with small children - shallow and very warm, long enough entrance, clear sea, good sand, which is sieved daily. We liked. On the way to the beach there is a soulful fish restaurant with a Russian-speaking waitress Yulia, the food is excellent, the prices are moderate.
And given that the price of rooms in this hotel is quite low and they offer food at the hotel at very affordable prices, then we got the maximum service and positive for a minimum of money.
