This is a sure 3* and even 3+*. Reality: located 2.8 km from the city center! The guides, of course, try to explain that the center... is such a broad concept. There are car signs "To the city center"! And yet, if the group of hotels "Don" is located in the center area outlined by the guide, then the catalog writes 800 m. In short, it is located on the outskirts of Terramolinos. Malaga is within easy reach! Otherwise, the official description and reality are basically the same. Obvious inconvenience - the need to pay for drinks in cash in the dining room. You can usually just sign a cashier's receipt for your room and pay the whole thing together with a credit card when you check out.
The hotel is big. It is of interest to families with children and people of retirement and pre-retirement age. The system "All inclusive" is provided. The advantages of this: they cook themselves (including national dishes) and the cooking is fresh, and not ordered from the nearest cafeteria; with an extensive buffet for 3 *: cheese and sausages 2-3 types each, fresh fruits 2-3 types (oranges, plums, bananas, red and green apples, peaches, nectarines) and compotes, ice cream 2 types, yoghurts 2-3 species, 5 types of cereals, 4 types of dried fruits, mousses, pastries, cakes and cakes; of drinks, beer, water, 1 white, 1 rose and 3 types of red wine - all the cheapest (fortunately cheap Spanish wines are still WINE).
Subjectively. Was not in my hotels. The error in the catalogs was misleading. Also, "all inclusive" is already/not yet for me! I prefer to be closer to the center. And so from the center to the hotel 6-7 euros by taxi. In this regard, the DON hotel group (Don Pablo, Paquito... - located one block away) is much more preferable and is in the same price category!

Rested from 15 to 29 September 2007 The weather was excellent, air temperature - 26-27, water - 23-25. Flew through Natalie tour: no complaints. We met, settled in a hotel, drove on excursions, sent home! A few words about the hotel. The reception speaks Spanish and English. There is a main building or two smaller ones.

Flew through Natalie tour: no complaints.
We met, settled in a hotel, drove on excursions, sent home!
A few words about the hotel. The reception speaks Spanish and English.
There is a main building or two smaller ones. Russians, as far as I understand, are settled only in the main one. In general, there were not many Russians resting at the hotel. The rooms are of the usual configuration, small. There was no bar-refrigerator, at least in my room, the safe was for a fee.
All rooms have a sea view, but since the main building is facing the sea, on one side of the room, apart from the sea, they face the neighboring hotel and you can hear the noise of some kind of refrigerating chambers of this hotel. And on the other side, apart from the sea, you will see a wasteland ( not yet built-up area) and hear the noise of planes taking off, since the airport is located just between Malaga and Torremolinos. It's not that bad, no one complained. But you have to keep that in mind! : )
Meals, if you have half board, lunch or dinner - at your discretion, no problem, it's convenient.
As for the quality, I would say average! First courses are usually some soups, so-so. A couple of times they were decent. There were 2-3 soups to choose from. Hot dishes - usually 2 meat and 2 fish, the same number of side dishes. From appetizers - salads - garbage, fresh vegetables, ham, cheese, sausages (here the Spanish sausage is delicious, I recommend it! ) A lot of desserts and fruits, but the fruits were not very good - either they were plucked green, or they generally have them : ))
Breakfast as usual, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, milk, croissants, toast, cereal, yoghurts.... okay!
The beach is private, across the road from the hotel, sunbeds - 4 euros! In fact, for the money they could have kept the beach better! Dirty! Coarse gray sand, small pebbles near the seashore. There are bars, cafes.
No water entertainment (catamarans, scooters, mattresses, bananas, boats, no! )
Naturally, there is a medium-sized swimming pool between the hotel buildings.
Animation at the hotel was somehow, for some reason only during the day. But in a nearby hotel every day there was an evening program.
The hotel is located at the very beginning of Torremolinas. This has its pros and cons.
Minus - far from the center -40-45 minutes walking at an average pace.
Pros. There are several of them, firstly, there is a bus stop near the hotel, you can go to the center by bus, it costs 1.1 euros. buses run on schedule, it's convenient, you don't have to wait, you get out at a convenient time for you and go. Secondly, the train station is not far from the hotel (I reached in 15 minutes), you can go to Malaga or along the coast in the opposite direction. Thirdly, when you go on excursions to Cordoba, Seville, Granada, and also to the airport - you will be the last to be picked up and the first to be brought to the hotel, as the hotel is located on the edge of the city!
If to sum up the overall result - a normal "three-ruble note". The quality matches the price!
