To end on a positive note, I'll start with the negatives. The main drawback is the sea. If you are going to the sea for the sake of the sea, forget about this hotel. The beach is far away, it’s hard to call it and the sea clean, the sand itself is gray, plus the hotel did not take care of the amenities, with the exception of a regularly running free minibus.

The beach is far away, it’s hard to call it and the sea clean, the sand itself is gray, plus the hotel did not take care of the amenities, with the exception of a regularly running free minibus. If you want a sun lounger with an umbrella - 4.50 euros in favor of beach entrepreneurs.
The Holiday Polynesia hotel is part of the Holiday World complex, where there are at least three more hotels on a common large territory, and the water park is one for everyone. Accordingly, it is not crowded there. Entrance is free, but you also need to take a shuttle to the water park or walk 10-15 minutes (longer back, because it's downhill). Opening hours are depressing: from 10:00 to 18:00.
In this situation, sunbathing with a gentle sun (at 17:00-18:00 on the Costa del Sol is still very hot) will only work on the beach (but the bus also runs only until six, and it takes at least 20 minutes to go back) or near the only pool in the very hotel Holiday Polynesia, where places start to take up from eight in the morning. There are a lot of people there, the pool itself is small, however, as in the water park.
Surprised and upset that the water park does not have the usual slides. They are wide, designed only for descent on special inflatable circles. The speed of the descent is not impressive - the slides are gentle. One lap rental - 6 euros per day. If you want to ride with the whole family in a train, and not in turn - consider it yourself.
This hotel is exclusively family-run. Children of any age, ranging from a few months - darkness. But it is surprising that at the same time there is no children's kitchen at all. That is, babies eat store-bought yogurts, more like jelly, a little older children - the same as adults.
We never saw a single milk porridge or anything like that.
However, the range and quality of food for adults is on top. Delicious, varied. Everything eventually gets boring, but not as quickly as it was in other hotels. For the first time from the all inclusive experience, pretty good drinks, ice cream were given for free. Usually drinks are not included in all inclusive, only in ultra all inclusive, or cheap chemical powder "juices" with the same left cola. The service in the restaurant is also commendable. Administrators, waiters, cooks are great.
Another, probably the most significant plus, is the number. In Holiday Polynesia, it is the best one I have ever been to. It's more like an apartment. They consist of a living room, in one part of which there is a kitchen, a bedroom, a toilet (bath, shower, toilet, bidet, two sinks) and a large terrace, access to which from both rooms.
The only big minus of the room was paid Wi-Fi, which barely worked in only one part of the living room.
Even in a one-star hotel in Barcelona, it never occurred to anyone to charge money for the Internet in 2013, and here 12 euros a week for a low-speed, constantly falling off connection.
The hotel is four years old so still in very good condition. Quite interesting is the overall interior design - a la jungle. On the basement floors, there are many turtles, fish in the fountain and parrots in a hefty, two-story-sized cage.
The staff is really friendly, sincerely trying to solve any of your questions. It's not so far everywhere.
Would I recommend this hotel to friends? Depends on their priorities and preferences. Will we go there again? Definitely - no.

We flew to Spain in November, I want to share a review of a wonderful hotel - Holiday Polinesia! Firstly, we were very lucky with the travel agency - Sunrise C, and secondly with the hotel. If you briefly describe the advantages, then this is an excellent location, the cleanest beach with beautiful sand and water)) And what else does a person need? )) Surprised that with the "all inclusive" food - just mega! especially liked the huge water park - it's just a must see : ) The rooms themselves are a solid 5.

The rooms themselves are a solid 5. The service is also at a quite decent level. But you forget about the room itself when you enter the hotel territory - it's just some kind of tropical paradise! one waterfall is worth it!
In a word - I advise everyone!! !
