It was a completely spontaneous trip. November in Latvia is a very sad month, and then all of a sudden cheap tickets to Malaga. Gotta fly. The budget is limited, ahead of the New Year, so we chose the hotel on the principle of cheap and cheerful. The choice fell on Balmoral, half board. The hotel is located in the wonderful town of Benalmadena, from Malaga can be reached by bus (more convenient, but longer) or train (long walk from the station).

Settle in quickly. We lived on the 5th floor, pool view. The room is standard. Beds are comfortable, linen is clean. There is a balcony with furniture (great for sunbathing in November). The presence of towels of different sizes, changed daily. Wifi no complaints. Everything is very decent. There are two small minuses, one free socket and soundproofing. The food is quite varied. Amazing for 2*. Once we were treated to sparkling wine at dinner.
I advise you to rent a car at the reception (full insurance, no collateral). There was entertainment every evening. The pool was cold but cleaned every morning. We were very lucky with the weather, we got into a real summer. We drove around the area a bit. Were in Caminito del Rey, Ronda, Granada (Alhambra) and, of course, in Malaga. I highly recommend!
