We returned from this hotel 4 days ago. The hotel is good, the food is excellent. They pick up well. The pool is tiny, the heated pool, stated in the description, was not seen in the eyes. On the roof there is a spa area with 2 tiny pools (actually a round bath). The beach is close, there are many cafes nearby, a supermarket is nearby.

On the roof there is a spa area with 2 tiny pools (actually a round bath). The beach is close, there are many cafes nearby, a supermarket is nearby. You can dine in a cafe for 20-25 euros for 2 people with beer (though 300 ml for each). Take smaller money - even in the supermarket they look at 100 euros with round eyes. The train stop is 15 minutes away - for those who wish to go to Barcelona, for example, the train runs every 30 minutes. Everything is good, but there is a small BUT: nowhere is it indicated that the hotel has rooms with a balcony and a French balcony. On the usual one there is a table, chairs, a clothes dryer. There is nothing in French and not everyone will fit in to smoke, they go out to the cafe below and the central air conditioners of the neighboring hotel. Maybe in the morning you will be able to fall asleep....The replacement of the number is not guaranteed even with an independent order through Booking !! ! I ordered 1 room, but received a completely different one....The town is small, there are several disco.

We rested in June 2014 - a family of 2 adults and 2 children (2.5 and 4 years old). I liked everything, everyone is happy, we are not picky tourists. The hotel itself is located on the first coastline, in front of it there is a road, a railway path, an embankment and a beach. The building has 7 floors, on the roof there are two jacuzzis and sunbeds.

The hotel itself is located on the first coastline, in front of it there is a road, a railway path, an embankment and a beach. The building has 7 floors, on the roof there are two jacuzzis and sunbeds. There is also an indoor pool, jacuzzi, infrared tanning is free and a sauna for money. There is no territory, except for an outdoor pool with sun loungers. Number: Our number was two-room with separate rooms, on the second floor. In one room there are two lorries, a TV set, a mini-fridge (for a fee! 3 euros), a wardrobe, an armchair, chairs, a dressing table. In the second - two single beds, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table, chairs. The bathroom has a bathtub, toilet, bidet, two sinks. The balcony is small, a table and two chairs. There is no drying, no ropes either. This is the problem of all European hotels. I read about it, so I took clothespins and a rope with me. The view was to the sea, but because of the trees it was not very visible. Soundproofing seems to be normal, it's hard to judge, we had neighbors only on one side. Service: The room was cleaned every day, but at an inconvenient time, at two o'clock, when the children were sleeping, so a couple of times we were not cleaned. Towels were changed every day, paper was added, shampoo and soap too. I can’t say if the bed was changed or not, I didn’t look much, it was just always clean with us. We mostly spent the night in the room, but we were satisfied with the room. There was some kind of animation, I don’t know what, we never got to it. A couple of times at night they heard singing in Spanish, but mostly the cries and chants of football fans. There is a children's room, it was just near our room, but for some reason there was never anyone there, they probably did not know the location. Power Meals we had HB (breakfast and dinner). Breakfasts are standard: (eggs, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, various sausages, sausages, cheeses, tomatoes, pastries, churros (local donuts), three types of yogurt, juices, teas, hot chocolate, muesli, milk, fruits). Dinners: everything for seafood lovers. Several types of meat dishes, fish dishes (grilled, baked), paella with a huge number of marine reptiles, various salads, including seafood and the local famous Malagay salad. Something else like our Olivier, rabbit, chicken, just seafood (mussels, shrimp, etc. ), vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage), various sauces, rice, french fries, vermicelli for garnish. For dessert - three types of ice cream, jelly, mousses, fruits (melons, watermelons, cherries, pineapples, apples, pears), pastries (cakes, cookies, cupcakes, puffs). Drinks are PAID, including water, you can’t bring with you - they scold you, you can’t take food out of the cafe either. If you leave early for excursions, then you need to order a picnic with you in advance the day before, they give you a bag with sandwiches, water, fruits. It is also possible to change dinner for lunch. The staff at the reception is excellent, but not so much in the canteen, strict guards. Check out at 10.30, things left in the luggage room. There are toilets and showers, towels can be borrowed from the reception. In general, I recommend the hotel. The most important thing on the beach! Minus: Wi-Fi caught only in the toilet.

Hotel Maritim is located almost on the first line. But the peculiarity of the coast of Spain is that a railway line is laid along it, right along the beach, in close proximity to it. Therefore, to get to the beach, you need to cross the railway track. Trains run very quietly, not like ours. At first we settled in a room overlooking the courtyard. But we decided to move to a room with a sea view. The view, of course, became much more beautiful, but it became noisier to sleep. Trains run until midnight. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, varied, lots of fruit. Nearby, a Dia supermarket was discovered, where every snack was bought. From the hotel to the railway station 15 minutes walk. Very comfortably. Entertainment in the hotel was not noticed, but we do not need them. Because after daily trips around the neighborhood, they returned late and already wanted to sleep. There are sunbathing areas on the rooftop of the hotel, as well as a steam jacuzzi. I liked the beach very much: spacious and beautiful. The service at the hotel was also good. In general, the hotel is on the level. More information about the rest at the Maritim hotel and independent excursions can be found here:

We came to Spain for the first time, so I can seem picky. Well, okay... Before that, they were in the Turkish-Egyptians, last year they went to Crete, but this is, in general, the same Turkey. The Maritim Hotel was chosen for its proximity to the beach and mostly positive reviews. Now about the hotel.

It's really close to the beach, which was great. Underpasses through a piece of iron that runs along the coast on both sides of the hotel are very close. Since we also went to swim in the sea, we never visited the pool, so I won’t write about it.
I will write about the beach and the sea. The beach is made of coarse sand (or small pebbles), so you can wallow directly on it or on towels. Particularly sensitive, you can buy mats or buy sun loungers. How much they cost, I don't know. Since the beach is in municipal ownership, they clean it carelessly - gobies and glasses are lying around. The sea in this area is calm. Small surf, depth 2 meters from the beach. The purchased umbrella and cream saved from burning. Rent hourly catamarans with slides and without. There is a tour booth selling boat trips along the Costa Brava. Young people gather on the beach at night.
The hotel itself, in general, pleased us, so I recommend it.
The staff at the reception sensibly understands both crooked English and Russian, so there were no problems. Feeding is also normal: delicious fish, meat, side dishes. The range is small of course, but probably three stars are no longer allowed. Cool watermelons, melons, peaches, ice cream. Peaches and grapes were often a bit harsh, but nothing. We took them with us on frequent excursions. During the night in the room, they managed to come into condition. They put water in lunch bags on excursions, which was good in the heat. From the conversations of tourists, it turned out that not every hotel puts it. The staff in the restaurant is good, the cleanliness of the dishes is normal - they were not poisoned.
The room was decent, the beds were comfortable, everything in the bathroom worked as it should. We did not watch TV, we did not order a refrigerator.

It is impossible not to return to Spain. After 3 years of absence in Barcelona, you go out to Plaza Catalunya and realize that you just left here. It is impossible not to return to Spain. After 3 years of absence in Barcelona, you go out to Plaza Catalunya and realize that you just left here. This time we chose Kalea as the shortest distance to Barca. It is better to take a train ticket for 10 trips, if you are not alone, or if you go there again. Comes out cheaper. The hotel is basic, no frills. There is no territory. But it's on the waterfront. Only the underground passage, and the beach. The sea is immediately deep (unlike Salou and Roses). Food is normal. All have not tried. Of the minuses (if there are jamon fans), they gave it 1 time for dinner, on the holiday of Catalunya. Breakfast was always fried bacon. The second minus is the audibility of 100 percent. Take a room as far as possible from the elevator along the corridor on any floor. Otherwise, you won’t sleep from 7 in the morning. Half of the guests at the hotel are Russians, Ukrainians and Poles. Safe in the room - 17 euros per week. In September, you won’t burn out, the water is still warm, children don’t irritate, there are few of them. The choice of shops is small in Calais, so for shopping (not glamorous) - in Loret and Barcelona. For good things, go to La Rocca (they carry them separately, all world brands are cheaper there). But the most important thing is excursions. . This time, everything related to Dali. It must be seen once. Can't be told in 2 words. It is necessary to listen to the guide and see his "treasury" in Figueros. And then take a car for 50 euros and drive to Port Lligat, where you yourself will want to write poetry or paintings, stand on Cape Creus, go further along the serpentine to France, have dinner on the seashore.....And never forget it.
