Indeed, all people have different perceptions, I read the previous review and doubted whether I was there) A lot has already been written about this hotel, mostly negative, with which, in general, I agree. Let me tell you my opinion about this hotel. Before the trip, I studied all the reviews and photos, so this hotel was not a shock for me, but I would not go a second time and would not recommend it to others.
Check-in: there were no problems with this, I arrived in the evening, they immediately gave me a room on the 3rd floor. The key with a huge key fob did not bother us, we went everywhere with a backpack, there was where to put it. They immediately took a safe, 20 euros per week, it is not so small as they wrote here, a tablet, a camera, documents fit freely. We didn’t hear about theft during the week, but we were calmer with the safe.
Number: we knew that we had an interior, I looked at the photo in advance, of course, we got a room with access to the well, there was no shock, we were ready. It turns out there are rooms even worse, it is with a dormer window, some of our compatriots simply asked to be relocated to at least one like ours, because it was impossible to live in their room. In the c / a repair, towels, thank God, were without holes, in normal condition, but the bedding, like clean, but so coughed up that it was terribly unpleasant to go to bed at first, then they somehow got used to it. Furniture, well, I don’t know who antiques are, but for me it’s very old, shabby furniture, with falling drawers, falling off doors, it was unpleasant for me to touch it, everything was in a suitcase, only they used hangers. Dirty lamps and bedspread. We had a pre-revolutionary conder, fortochny, turned on with a button, but there was no heat, we used it a couple of times. Were not cleaned very well, but against the background of all this, you no longer pay attention to such trifles. Beds with a terrible mesh, but we traveled so much that we returned at night and our bed seemed like paradise). I'll post pics, but there are many. The exit to the well pleased us with the fact that we did not hear the noise at all and the German teenagers who gathered and yelled on the terrace or in the hall.

Food: DISGUSTING. I don’t understand people who write laudatory reviews for this food, I had to cut 3 circles around the racks in order to choose at least something, one meat dish, one fish, everything is inedible, I survived with pepper, tomatoes, fruits, but my husband suffered, got to the cafe. From the salads some kind of mixed burda, the coffee from the machine is terrible, whatever you choose, cocoa is pouring, they took it for an extra charge. fee wine and beer, normal. Of the fruits on our shift, there were apples and peaches, once a melon, that's all! No staff, neither positive nor negative, I do not want to say, everything is smooth.
Of the pluses, I highlight only the location on the first line. I liked Calella, we drove along the coast, we liked other beaches and cities less. And its main advantage is close to Barcelona and train stations and the airport, as we traveled to Madrid and flew to Mallorca on our own.
We paid about 46 thousand for a ticket to this hotel, not so little money, we decided that we would no longer save on housing, although we traveled a lot, but still we want to live in normal conditions.
