In general, the hotel is quite worthy of European 4 stars, one of the best on the coast!

We stayed at the hotel in June 2011. I must say right away that we were not very lucky with the weather, at times it was overcast and even torrential rains fell, but this did not affect the quality of hotel services! The hotel is very well located - in the center of Santa Susanna, near the bus stop, the passage to the beach (via the railway platform) and the central walking street with numerous cafes and shops. The hotel is suitable for a quiet relaxing holiday. Mostly Europeans of retirement age have a rest, there are few couples with children. This, perhaps, was a minus for us, because we went on vacation with a child. There is absolutely nothing for children to do there, except for swimming in the pool, there is not even a playground. The child was entertained outside the hotel - in the evening an amusement park with rides and carousels worked. I appreciate the good food. I was especially pleased with the abundance of fruits: peaches, tangerines, apples, pineapples, cherries, oranges, melons, watermelons, kiwi, apricots, nectarines... Tea, coffee (several varieties in coffee machines), juices are free for breakfast. Dinner is very plentiful, there were always seafood, drinks for money. Housekeeping at the level. Towels were changed at least every day, linen - 2 times a week. For remote control to TV and hair dryer set aside a deposit at the reception (10 and 20 euros respectively). The evening program is not very diverse, but there was something to see - live music, flamenco show, show with parrots. 7 minutes walk to the beach. The beach is municipal, it was not cleaned very well, there were cigarette butts in the sand. The water in the sea is clean, but there were strong waves, so it was hard to swim. Not far from the hotel there is a Carefour supermarket, in which everything is at reasonable prices. And also - a very good wine store, a huge selection of alcohol for different tastes and budgets, we bought goods there. Trains to Barcelona run every half an hour, a round trip ticket (return ticket) costs a little more than 7 euros. Travel time (a little over an hour) flies by unnoticed, because the trains are very comfortable, you go and enjoy the views outside the window. I also recommend going to Barca on your own, and not overpaying for excursions.
