The hotel is located at the very end of the town of Calella, and across the road is another town where there is a beautiful supermarket called Consum.
Russian-speaking Martin met us, told us everything, I immediately asked for a kettle in the room and a hair dryer. He gave the kettle right away, but the hair dryer said that they only give it to dry and return it to the reception.
The rooms are all small, but quite comfortable, everything is new, the mattresses are comfortable - orthopedic ones. The toilet has new sanitary ware, very nice. The bedding was changed 1 time in a week, towels not once, we didn't ask, we have to protect nature.
A corkscrew was needed, and they also gave it without question. There is no refrigerator in the room, but food was placed on the 1st floor without any problems. A microwave was used in the dining room, as needed.

There are only breakfasts in the hostel, one and the same, but everything was arranged for us, we did not leave hungry. We had lunch and dinner from the Consum store, the prices are pleasant. The cafe is expensive. Margherita pizza 9.9 euros, paella 26 euros, cola 0.33 - 2 euros.
Air conditioning is free, but we almost never used it, because it's cool at night and that's cool.
WI-fi is free and works well. There is a TV in the room, but who needs it now.
We have a number of exits to the inner yard, where there are also inner yards of nearby buildings and the only 18-story building in the city. That's why we always had silence, except for lunch, when the locals were swimming in the pool in their yard.
Other vacationers who lived closer to the lighthouse said that they were constantly noisy, screaming youth, etc. Therefore, draw conclusions about where it is better to choose a hotel.
The beach is 10 minutes from the hotel, you go straight, without turning anywhere, through the underpass and you are there. The beach is sandy, very pleasant, wide, there are plenty of places, you lie at a distance from each other, with the exception of the beach closer, again, to the lighthouse. Locals come only on Saturdays and fill up the beach on line 1 a little.
The sea is beautiful, there is no sharp descent, clean transparent water far into the depths, and the bottom is flat without stones and algae, the cleanest. There are swimming fish that have never stung, only a jellyfish, in a black dot, stung us all, but after 20 minutes. everything passed
They did not use an umbrella (5 euros per week at the reception) because they were either in the water all the time, or a cloud came over.
We went to Barcelona on our own, by train, 11 euros in both directions per person. We laid out our own route in Google Maps and went to all the outstanding places in 8 hours. They ate at McDonald's here, the prices are the same as ours.
There is a single central street with a lot of cafes and 2 large souvenir shops, if you go to another street, where there is a house with cacti, there is a cheaper souvenir shop.
I liked Spain, maybe I will return for vacation with my husband.
