Of the benefits - friendly staff, delicious mousses for dinner), few Russians, mostly Spaniards, French, located near the bus station.
Cons - monotonous food, far from the sea (20 min. walk), not a new hotel, mostly pensioners and families with children stay there. So if you want a youth party, go to Lloret de Mar. We personally really missed the discos, and Platja D'aro simply doesn't have them. But for a family holiday with children, this is an ideal place, there are a lot of playgrounds, attractions, etc.
But anyway, we had something to do - there are hiking trails right on the coast, and there are very beautiful views, you can sunbathe and swim in the picturesque coves, dive and look at the fish. And don't forget to go to Barcelona (2.5 hours from Platja D'aro). Be sure to visit the Sagrada Familia (I advise you to buy tickets to the temple online, because there are huge queues near the temple). Take a walk through Park Gü ell, along the main street of Barcelona and watch the evening fountain show near the palace)

I liked the hotel. 1) Price-quality ratio; 2) The room was large, however, with two double beds; 3) Cleaning - every day; 4) Remarkable quality of tap water, hair - velvet!!! 5) Parking without problems, but always the last place; 6) There are almost no Russians; 7) The pool is cool, there is even 3.

1) There are a lot of adult foreigners, sometimes it seems that you are in a nursing home;
2) Cuisine - I saw better in Spain (3 stars), the choice is not large, "meager" seafood; (we ate more in cafes, although there was breakfast and dinner);
3) Not close to the sea, 15-20 minutes on foot. We were by car, traveled every day, we didn't care)))
4) Audibility is excellent, as everywhere in 3 stars, but it didn’t bother me. Slept well.
