I liked this hotel for its location and food. Other hotels in the city have windows overlooking neighboring buildings located through narrow streets. And this one is on a hill, so it's fresh and the view is normal. Close to the beach.
The room has trouble. With clean towels, tension, if desired, it was probably possible to solve the problem, but we did not try. In all hotels there and in Italy, soap accessories are also issued 1 time upon check-in. That is, take soap with you, otherwise you will have to buy 3 euros each.
The hotel cooked well. It is necessary to take a tour with meals - it will pay off, even if you dine at the hotel a couple of times. Eating in a cafe is tasteless and expensive - paella (rice with four mussel shells on top) costs 12 euros. The rest of the food is more expensive.
Excursions liked the following: Girona-Dali, Barcelona-Gaudi. We did not go on an excursion to France, but according to compatriots, this is nonsense.
Shopping is also so-so - chain brands, which we also have. I managed to snatch a few little things in a special sales town La Rocca Village (I hope I wrote it correctly). You can't get there by public transport, but only by a special sightseeing bus. There is little time left for shopping, unfortunately - 3 hours. During this time, I only searched half the stores.
On your own, you can go to Tossa (by boat), to Barcelona (by train).
There is nothing to do with children in this city - there is no children's infrastructure at all.
