Room: studio, small area, tolerable for two, and the three of us will be cramped. The bed is single, the second - retractable, + sofa. Everything is old, the mattresses are uncomfortable. The pillows are uncomfortable. Bed linen was changed once. There are a couple of blankets in the closet, which came in handy. Kitchen: everything works, but not enough utensils. No corkscrew, no glasses, no big salad bowl. They bought everything themselves (after 4 houses, a Chinese keeps a shop with all the necessary small things at low prices) + dishwashing liquid, sponges, napkins. There are no questions about the bathroom - it's simple, but everything works, it's clean, there were towels. The only negative thing was that we had to buy toilet paper ourselves, which ended after 10 days - not 80 euro cents, of course, it’s a pity for 6 rolls, but the very fact of such a trifle depressing. it's everywhere in my opinion in Tossa. The lock on the door is old, slams shut, so you should not leave the room without a key. The conditioner worked properly.
Russian-speaking staff was not found at the reception. The contingent is mainly Europeans of pre-retirement and retirement age, there are almost no Russians, on weekends there is an influx of Spaniards who come to the sea.
In general, rest in Tossa is very calm, unhurried, unhurried. There is no noise from discos, and even in the old town everything calms down after 17-00, when crowds of tourists who have arrived on boats from neighboring towns of the Costa Brava leave to inspect the local beautiful fortress of Villa Velha. Shops, cafes and restaurants are enough. The price tag is generous everywhere. Tossa, in our opinion, by a wide margin in terms of the quality of rest, overtook both Lloriet and Blanes, and other towns where we were on the Costa Brava. Very cute and friendly place! You will not regret choosing Tossa de Mar. (Unless, of course, you are going to hang out in nightclubs, casinos, and restaurants)
A big plus of the hotel is the price, the presence of an excellent grocery store in a neighboring house, the presence of a clean and large swimming pool, if you rent a car, you can always find a parking place (especially in the park side).
In , the shortcomings of the hotel did not overshadow it. In general, they were satisfied with the rest
P. S. If possible, you should definitely rent a car. Roads are a song, both paid and free (I drove 2.000 in a week and didn’t notice), see everything on your own without fuss and extra expenses, and the landscapes outside the window (especially rural ones) will be admired!
The only thing missing is a hair dryer in the rooms.
