Tossa de Mar, hotel "Dolphin" of the Dante system. In my opinion, this nice hotel can serve as a symbol of a romantic little cozy Tossa. The hotel was renovated in 2002. We chose ***, but with air conditioning. And "Dolphin" pleased us in all respects. A small 3-storey hotel with 67 rooms on the central, but not noisy Costa Brava street, 5-10 minutes walk from four completely different beaches of Tossa.

Tossa de Mar, hotel "Dolphin" of the Dante system. In my opinion, this nice hotel can serve as a symbol of a romantic little cozy Tossa. The hotel was renovated in 2002. We chose ***, but with air conditioning. And "Dolphin" pleased us in all respects. A small 3-storey hotel with 67 rooms on the central, but not noisy Costa Brava street, 5-10 minutes walk from four completely different beaches of Tossa. We asked for rooms with windows overlooking the garden, where magnolias were still in bloom and palm trees and aurocarias towered. All rooms have huge beds, stylish furniture, paintings, a beautifully equipped bathroom with / oh horror! / A magnifying mirror, to which we immediately stuck. Every day they changed towels and added shampoos, washcloths, soap, etc. , and also did the cleaning. And most importantly, adjustable air conditioning! With heat and humidity, it is simply irreplaceable.
The room has a bar and a safe. When you feel thirsty, you can take a bottle, but it is better to buy and put it back right before cleaning the room, because. in a store it costs 0.50 euros, and in a hotel 2.
The staff is very friendly. Mostly families of French, Spaniards, Italians live. 2 Russians were also seen. The breakfast is ordinary, the same every day, but the scrambled eggs and bacon are delicious! "Swedish" dinner plunged us into hysterical laughter....because you can't mock like that! Every day new main courses, awesome side dishes, salads, soup, and even some signature dish. And desserts, fruits, ice cream! A colorful chef appeared in the hall from time to time and vigilantly followed the tastes of gourmets. In general, they went out, trying to draw in their stomachs and hold out at least until the door, with the words "I'll drink it in a minute" / reminding myself of a gorged wolf from a wonderful cartoon /. Oddly enough, it wasn't bad. I just wanted to lie down for half an hour and then peacefully walk along the "promenade". But all day long they were very active.
Every other day we went on excursions, sometimes taking ordinary dry rations. The hotel does not have its own courts and swimming pool, but the other two Dante systems have it and can be used. Tennis court with rackets for 1 hour costs 12 euros.
The porter fulfills all your requests quickly and with pleasure. A very calm town with happy smiling people, despite the fact that the Catalans are considered very reserved and "on their minds". Good bus and sea connections, but the bus is 4 times cheaper. Have a wonderful trip!
