I have never written a review before because I have always enjoyed my stay. Although I myself actively use descriptions and reviews of other tourists in choosing a hotel and vacation spot. Now I am writing only so that those who read it do not go on vacation with VKO Travel, and even more so do not end up in the hotel where I ended up. But first things first.
My friend and I bought a tour for a month and a half with the hope that from July 2 to July 16 we will listen to the sound of the surf on the most famous beach of Ibiza, Playa d'en Bossa. The hotel was chosen treshku Fiesta Don Tonni for the fact that all the balconies are located at an angle. And, therefore, in any room you will have a view of the sea. This hotel has great food and is as close to the beach as possible. Then we fell asleep to the sound of the surf with an open balcony. But that was later. And first…
The evening before departure, we received our vouchers. They did not want to pick it up at the airport, since the departure was at 2:50 at night. No signs of trouble. But upon arrival we were told that we had overbooking, a change of hotel. And we booked and confirmed a month and a half in advance!!! ! We were not even bothered to explain why we were kicked out of our hotel. Then we learned through our channels that the employees of the East Kazakhstan region simply decided to earn extra money. They put on a plane, where there were additional tickets for the guys who were traveling in a large company with a wedding, and we suddenly had an overbooking. Completely random. . .
And we are being taken to the other coast, not far from the town of Santa Eularia, to the Sol S’Argamassa hotel. He is four stars. If someone tells you that this is an elite area of Ibiza and a very elite place - do not believe it. I have never seen such a wasteland in my life. And in the literal and figurative sense. The hotel does not at all pull on four stars, neither food, nor service, nor rooms with a view of the fence. There is no beach as such. What is called a beach stinks unbearably and the sea is knee-deep. The hotel is not just family, but very, very family. Moreover, there are almost no Russians there... You simply have nowhere to eat except in a hotel. The nearest eatery of a dubious kind is about 15-20 minutes on foot... Spar is also about ten minutes on foot and looks more like a tent, not a supermarket. You can only go somewhere by taxi, since we could only manage 20 minutes uphill in the heat once to get to the bus stop. And to Ibiza Town you will have to travel by two buses and spend an hour of your time. And from Playa den Bossa, 10-15 minutes by bus to the city center. A very equivalent replacement for a hotel. So until we were returned to our hotel, we spent a lot of money on a taxi.
There is so much more to say about this hotel. But I'll tell you something else. THERE THEY ARE STEALING!! ! And apparently everyone is aware of everything. Our safe didn't work for two days. Naturally, the staff of the four simply had to feed us breakfast because it was unrealistic to fix the safe in a day... In the evening at 22:00 we went out for dinner. At 22:20 already returned to the room. My iPhone 4G was stolen. For 20 minutes while we were absent in the room!! ! The balcony door was locked. Only staff who had access to the room could steal. When we demanded to remove information from the system, who came to our room, it turned out that the system simply shows something incomprehensible. The system was removed at 23:00, and it showed that we entered the room at 23:30 instead of 22:20 and everything was in the same spirit. The duty officer refused to call the police in the evening, citing that there was no one from the authorities. When we called the guide Yuri, he refused to call the hotel management and generally call them. Absolutely also refused to call the police so that an act was drawn up. And to everything else, he simply advised me to buy a fifth iPhone. I have never seen such impudence and impunity anywhere. ALL! Nobody else lifted a finger.
Interestingly, the guides of the East Kazakhstan region receive interest on stolen items? Or is it not their responsibility to deal with tourists from Russia? I wonder if guides work there? Or do they just sell tickets and excursions, and the rest is none of their business?
We, through our channels, involved in Moscow, because in Ibiza the VKO company simply did not deal with us, moved to Fiesta Don Tonni only a week later. The tour operator BKO or TUI did not even think of organizing a transfer between hotels. So we started a full-fledged rest only a week later and with a huge amount of spent nerves, and even with losses.
In Ibiza, in addition to the impressive nightlife, there is also something to see. You can walk along the narrow streets of the old town of Ibiza Town. Climb up and enjoy the unforgettable views. Then have dinner on the terrace of one of the restaurants overlooking the port. Be sure to go to another island of Formentera. And it's better with a tour. You will be taken to an observation deck, which you yourself will never reach. They will show the lighthouse, where there is just a huge number of lizards of different colors. A very impressive sight.
In any case, when you go on vacation, you really want to receive only positive emotions. So that you do not waste your nerves on vacation, do not go on vacation with VKO Travel or TUI. And if you suddenly decide to hang out in Ibiza, go to the coast of Playa d'en Bossa. And when they start telling you about other hotels in other places, remember the horrors of Sol S’Argamassa and try not to let this happen to you.
Have a good holiday everyone. Larisa =)
