In restaurants, food is also inexpensive, even right on the beach area - there is a wonderful Chinese restaurant from the "eat as much as you want" series for 6.95 euros including king prawns, mussels, various types of meat, salads, 6 types of ice cream, the only thing is that you still need to order drinks for 2 -3 euros. From the same series on the same Avenida Beaune at its end, the grand buffet - for 9.95 the same includes a selection of grills, it is full of local ones.
In general, Avenida Bon is a good place to stay - close to all points of interest, parking is free everywhere and there were always places, quiet. I really liked the car rental point at the first crossroads from the beach on the same Avenida Beaune - the process itself took about 5 minutes, the prices are humane - Ford Focus with full insurance for a week 135 euros - cheaper than booking via the Internet, you can also take a Renault Megan convertible - 200 euros for a week.
Initially, I was attracted by the extraordinary expanse of Playa Del Ingles, turning into dunes - a piece of the Sahara. It's wonderful, you really relax there and a pillow of nervous calmness remains.
There are plenty of places to travel. I can recommend Palmitos Park, a western-style hotel, it is worth going to Las Palmas, walking around the city. By car it is worth going to the center of the island, I liked it very much in the north and northeast in Gaia.
Nearby you can go to Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan - small resort towns with beaches in closed bays. Gasoline costs less than 1 euro per liter, everyone drives quite calmly, it’s not so difficult to figure out the roads (the only thing is that the maps are all bad and contradict each other, so it’s better to use a navigator).
The weather in February is quite beachy, it rained once in the evening, the rest of the time the sun with clouds, from 10 to 17 it is quite comfortable on the beach. The water is invigorating, it’s quite possible to swim for half an hour, the only thing is that there are very often waves on Playa Del Inglé s, I like to swim in them, if with children, it’s better in the eastern part where the piers block the beach from waves, or in Puerto Rico or Puerto Rico Mogane.
The contingent is mostly Germans and Spaniards, you may not know any language at all, well, maybe a few words in English, everything is very benevolent. Once again I want to go, to visit other islands.
