The hotel is really not new, but everything is clean, tidy, the design is a little outdated, but they didn’t go to the ocean for design! ) The rooms are quite spacious, with a sofa and a large balcony with a side view of the ocean (although the room is called overlooking the road) - we sat in the evenings , drank... They cleaned every day, the bed was changed after two to the third. Elevators 3 - modern, silent, there was never a queue. Of the shortcomings - the lack of a refrigerator and air conditioning in the room. The air conditioner may not be needed - it's not hot, but there is not enough fresh air - you open the balcony, and the "view of the road" makes noise just tin. We got used to the third day, and my friend was tormented to the end! )) So choose a room taking into account your susceptibility to sounds!
The most pleasant surprise was the restaurant - the food was beyond praise! Mussels every day, shrimp, grilled trout, meat, various fish, fresh fruits, all kinds of desserts, etc. etc. Everything is very tasty! My 10-year-old daughter also ate too much - always 3 types of spaghetti, pasta + free ice cream every evening! ))) At first they wanted to pay extra for "all inclusive" on the spot - 15 euros per person per day, but then they changed their minds and never sorry. There are cafes everywhere, including on the embankment near the hotel - cold Gaspacho soup is only 4.5 euros, supermarkets are nearby, prices are even lower than ours.
We rented a car for 4 days (110 euros ford focus 1.6 mechanics with full insurance and a navigator in Russian) traveled the whole island, went to Amadores beach (by car 25min, by bus 1h10min).
It turned out to be extremely difficult to find a navigator for rent, so it’s better to take it with you. At the box office they say that it is not needed, that there is only one road encircling the island and it is impossible to get lost, do not believe it! Of course, you won’t get lost, but you can get lost for a long time. Yes, and the road is far from alone, especially in the mountains. The navigator helped us more than once!
If without a car, then there is a bus stop right next to the hotel - to any part of the island. To Las Palmas, to Amadores and anywhere. Schedule is accurate! If any questions arose from our guide from Pegasus - Ekaterina always helped, they called her by phone.
Go to the beach near the hotel at a leisurely pace for a maximum of 7-8 minutes - a ladder leading to a beautiful embankment, where it is very pleasant to walk in the evening, drinking mojito, which some Cuban makes there! This is something!
The beach is good, wide, no one interferes with anyone. You can take sunbeds and umbrellas (two sunbeds + an umbrella on our beach 7.5 euros per day, on Amadores - 10 euros), but there was no need for this, because. on the beach there is a stone ridge on which it is very convenient to lean on your elbows to sunbathe, and if you need to eat a shade! ))
Most of all, at the time of departure, we were worried about the weather. On Gizmeteo, the weather in Las Palmas was announced as 19-20 air and the same water. This was a little alarming, because from Las Palmas to Maspalomas 55 km in total, we think there can’t be a big difference... It turns out it can! ))) I don’t know how, but our temperature didn’t drop below 25-26, it was 29 ! And they arrived in Las Palmas in shorts-T-shirts - everyone is in jackets, boots (well, of course, they freaked out a little, they had 20 at that time, but there was also a cold wind), in short, the weather is OK! The ocean is also nothing like that, invigorating. It was a little uncomfortable to go in, but then I didn’t want to get out!
The climate there is generally amazing, that's really the truth "Island of eternal spring! " The sun bakes, the breeze blows, there is no haze, comfortable, warm. The whole European pension hangs out there! )))
The territory of the hotel was examined only on the last day, the departure was late, for 30 euros they extended the room and after dinner we decided to enjoy the pools! ))) There are two of them, plus a paddling pool for children, and two large jacuzzis - bubbled up at last! )))
Highly recommend! And the hotel and the island!
Have a nice holiday everyone! )))
The hotel is located on Playa del Ingles, since we have traveled almost the entire island, I think that this is the best place.
The hotel building is 7 floors, all rooms with balconies, we had a room on the 6th floor, a direct view of the ocean, just wonderful! The room has everything you need, clean, but cosmetic repairs would not hurt. Hairdryer not included, please bring your own. There is a safe in the closet, you take a plastic card to use it for 20.00 euros, this is a deposit, the money is returned upon departure. We kept only documents in the safe, everything else: cosmetics, perfumes, phone chargers, etc. , we just kept on the table in front of the mirror, everything was in order.
The hotel has swimming pools, sun loungers, towels or rent them, animation works, entertainment programs in the evening. Once, when my husband and son took a Quad Safari tour, I sunbathed by the pool, and mostly we went to the beach.
Although the inner garden is very beautiful, there is a lot of greenery, flowers, palm trees all around. The hotel does not have its own beach, like many other hotels. There are 2 possibilities to go to the ocean:
1. go straight and slightly to the left to a small bay, about 400 meters, but we didn’t really like it there: the beach is not equipped in any way, there are no sunbeds and umbrellas, water activities are not offered, and you can often stumble on cobblestones in the water at the bottom, this not very nice.
2. Basically we were on the Playa del Ingles beach, go a little straight and to the right, about 1 km approximately, but it's worth it. You walk along the walking area, to your right are 2-storey apartments, everything is green, in flowers, and on the left is the ocean, ocean, ocean ...On the beach, renting 1 sunbed costs 2.50 euros, 1 umbrella is the same. You can walk endlessly along the beach, towards Maspalomas there will be dunes, it is indescribably beautiful.
The hotel has 1 main restaurant, very large, enough seats for everyone.
Service: buffet, you can also pour your own drinks. The service staff only changes the tablecloths on the tables and removes the used plates. They work quickly, smartly, and at the same time it does not bother at all.
For a 3.5 * hotel, the food is quite normal. We liked fish dishes the most, some chicken dishes, a huge variety of fruits, ice cream, yoghurts and muesli did not even try. In general, food for every taste.
Also in the garden there is a lobby bar and in the lobby. Internet for a fee, but it works slowly, before you have time to look back, the money has already flown away.
Vacationers from different countries, mostly, of course, Germans. But there were also the French, and the Dutch, and the British. When people enter the elevator in the morning to go down to the restaurant for breakfast, everyone says "good morning" in their own language.
The holiday was great!
