We didn’t want to fly far, and we already considered the Canary Islands as an option for a summer vacation a couple of years ago, so we didn’t hesitate for a long time and decided on a hotel in just half an hour. The choice was not large, the main criteria - on the ocean, all inclusive, affordable budget and positive reviews from tourists.
The distance from the airport is about 70 km. The hotel occupies a large area and is located on a hill, you need to go down to the beach to the ocean and walk 3-5 minutes. The beach is public, own beds only by the pools, but to be honest, in view of the nature of Fuerteventura, I mean an almost constant wind, I won’t say that it’s strong, but nevertheless, there was no special need for beds on the shore. We did this - sunbathing by the pool and bar, then went down to the ocean, swam and either went for a walk along the coast, or returned for a fresh portion of mojitos.
What can be said about the hotel itself - the usual Spanish four, clean, well maintained, but the hotel has long needed a major overhaul. Food - not Turkey, of course, but you won’t stay hungry... We didn’t get hung up on the hotel, we knew where we were going, we had already been to Spain more than once, the main thing that we liked was nature and, of course, the Atlantic Ocean. Here are 10 points out of 10. The cleanest water, the cleanest coast, the almost complete absence of algae and a minimum of people, if you walk a little away from the hotel. Amazing!! !
