I rested in this hotel in April 2008 and wrote a review (you can read it right there), but having arrived this year at the same hotel, I was unpleasantly surprised, at the reception - boorish service (Oscar-name, the second did not introduce himself, young man) without even trying to understand our distorted language, they refused to issue a room ordered from Moscow, and settled in PATEO, who doesn’t know, this is a well in the center of the hotel, where the windows from the rooms go, stuffiness, the smell of tobacco.

Thank God we only had two nights. When my friend and I checked out of the hotel, these boys brazenly laughed after us, it would not be superfluous to say that we are 70 years old, and my companion walks with a stick. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. I have the impression that tourists from Russia are not welcome here.

Lovely small hotel with the best location: 2 minutes from Plaç a Catalunya, excellent, plentiful breakfasts with fruits, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, pastries and juices! But, most importantly, the location. All tour routes go from Plaza Catalunya. Come to Barcelona to the Grand Ducat Hotel, you won't regret it!!!!!! !.

The hotel is of a standard class, high-quality workmanship, the yellowish facade of the building outside and inside the rooms has warm colors - yellow, orange, brown-milky. Pretty quiet, thought out soundproofing from noise in the center.
A pleasant hotel, I might even say - like a boutique hotel, small, comfortable. We were in November - I was afraid that we would freeze, or the beds were damp, or some other annoyance. But it was warm, quiet, comfortable, and we had time to relax from fruitful excursions.
