Being in Hurghada for more than a year, I traveled to a bunch of different places, I went to Taba specifically to visit Jerusalem and Petra in Jordan. From the Hilton Taba hotel to Israel is "within a stone's throw", so I won't tell you about the road to the border, the passage is another matter - it all depends on the Israeli side, I waited 1.5 hours, but the time flew by while talking with other tourists.
Briefly about the tour: after the Egyptian-Israeli border, we had a stop at the Dead Sea, then Bethlehem and Jerusalem itself with its main attractions. In principle, I could go there on my own, but since my profile is "Egypt", and not "Israel and Jordan", I ordered a group program from the organizers I knew, plus professional interest has long pushed me to visit these excursions in order to finally go there myself, where he sent many tourists and friends. A couple of days later I hit the road to Jordan. I advise everyone to definitely share these excursions, since 2 days may seem tiring, but separately there is no fatigue, and the impressions do not stick together.
I concluded this: for me, of course, it’s better to go to Israel for a week, calmly go around more places and get a lot of impressions, the same applies to Jordan, but this is my opinion... The main mass of tourists nevertheless advised these programs and will continue to advise, because in terms of saturation they are really very good, and the price is reasonable. Get a lot of impressions!

Now for the hotel. I only stayed here for a few days, as the purpose of the trip was not to rest, but I liked it. Yes, I agree, there are disadvantages, but for Egypt it’s very good. The rooms are cleaned regularly, the staff is friendly, the food is basically the same as everywhere else, do not expect a royal table, but meat and all kinds of snacks are available. Around the desert, the Taba resort itself is small, but quiet and calm, I recommend it to families with children. Want to hang out all night and sleep in during the day? Then this resort is not for you. Go to Sharm or Hurghada. But to relax, combining a beach holiday with pilgrimage excursions - that's it! I advise you not to spare the little things for baksheesh, these are pennies, but the attitude towards you will be better, they smile, they are interested in whether everything is in order with you.
After the excursions, I lay on the beach for 2 days and went back to my native Hurghada. I liked the resort and the hotel, of course I would not live here, but I recommend visiting from time to time, especially to dilute the impressions of Hurghada and Sharm, which have become boring to many. Have a good holiday everyone! If anything, write, as always, I will gladly share what I know.
