So, for the 10th time in Egypt.
Why Taba?
Because this time without children and a wife, with a family, it’s stressful to hang around for another 3 hours on the bus, in addition to the flight.
So I decided to go snorkeling purposefully in Taboo, for a change.
And did not regret it!
upon check-in, there were litigations, traditional for Egypt, in the reception on the topic of obtaining a suitable number.
In the end, I was satisfied - I got a decent single on the 1st floor of the building by the 2nd pool (5 minutes to the beach and 3 to the reception).
NUTRITION.
There is only one place for distributing hot food, which inevitably leads to hustle and bustle.
The quality and choice of food - a strong C grade, with a creak of 4 Egyptian stars.
BEACH and REEFS.
The beach has sand, like in Naama Bay. And not a rock of coarse grinding, as in Phanara Beach.
Previous speakers spoke about sunbeds - I confirm that there is an eternal shortage.

Reefs are dead and alive. I have never seen so many lionfish in one place!
For snorkeling, by far the best time is from 7 to 9.00 to 13.30.
People walk on the beach, among other things, they sell for 35 bucks a 2-hour trip on a snorkeling boat in 3 places.
Do not take ! The places themselves are not bad, but the trip starts at 14.00, when the sun has already declined and the corals are more and more in the shade!
The best option is a full day trip from the island of Pharaoh (sold in the hotel lobby) - 50 bucks.
The only negative is that the sweetest place (the corals of Pharaoh's island) is left for last, when the sun has already "sat down".
ENTERTAINMENT.
I didn’t really delve into it, I only heard the calls of the animators on the beach to do darts, volleyball, etc.
I went to smoke a hookah (I love this business! ) In a cafe, on the 2nd floor of a building near the beach.
I was struck by the fact that only 1 (!!! ) variant of tobacco was offered.
For several days there was an "apple", after it a "mint".
On the 1st floor there is a disco. A very decent room (didn't expect it! ) - and always empty!
We went there several times, but turned around, because there was no one in the hall.
All that remained was to go to the beach, lie down on the sunbeds and relax, looking at the dark starry sky, under the rustle of the surf.
Outcome:
I liked this hotel.
It suits my needs perfectly.
I adhere to the rule not to call in the same one, but if they asked me, then yes, in principle, I don’t mind repeating in Sonest.
TRIP TO JERUSALEM (briefly).
I drove through the office of Abdullah. I went beyond the barrier, as agreed at 24.00 and waited for the bus.
110 bucks (tourists from Sharm paid 75-85 bucks for the same).
4 hours to cross both borders in one direction + another 40 minutes of downtime due to 2 Russian women with Muslim names.
Dead Sea - 1 hour.
Jerusalem, Bethlehem - all at a gallop!
back at about 17.00 + again a dreary border crossing in 4 hours!
The bus is stuffy.

The Arab driver saves diesel fuel, therefore, in response to a request to turn on the condo, he refers to tourists who are cold (this is a common excuse).
at the hotel at 23.00 - the day has passed!
I would not recommend this trip to anyone!
The only PLUS is the guide Radik, a Christian Arab from Bethlehem, who spoke decent Russian.
And, importantly, he knew what he was talking about!
In general, if there is an opportunity individually - go ahead! This is better !
When I was traveling to Eilat on my own, I crossed paths with a couple from Poland.
Those took an individual tour to Jerusalem (150/bucks for 1st) and, no doubt, got much more pleasure from the trip!
