My wife and I stayed at this hotel from 13.02. 2013 to 20.02. 2013. The hotel was chosen based on reviews (ratings), there were several selection criteria: 1. The most quiet hotel. 2. Sandy beach and not far from the hotel. 3. Good cuisine. It seemed that the requirements were the simplest, but it only took a long time to search. The choice fell on "SOL Y MAR SEA STAR" in Taba. The tour operator “Pegas” was somewhat embarrassing, the reviews about it were, for the most part, negative, but all this turned out to be untrue. Paid tours with a landing at the airport "Taba", from him to the hotel 30-40 minutes drive. A few days later, the tour operator rescheduled the landing in Sharm El Sheikh. It started to strain, but we decided to go to the end and did not refuse. The plane turned out to be an A-321 of the Nord Wind company, the plane was in excellent condition, the crew was very friendly and welcoming. 4.30 min. and we are in Sharm.

Amazing pastries, lots of sweets, very tasty fish and beef. In the evening, be sure to grill, it's either a bird or a barbecue, there were also crabs on the grill ....
for dieters, there are many dietary dishes. Stela Egypt beer is very tasty. The juice is also very tasty - it cannot be compared with ours, and most importantly, you can pour water and juices into bottles and no one will say a word. Very welcoming and friendly staff. They greet each time they meet and always have a smile on their face. They never refuse anything. Linen was changed every day, the territory is clean, every evening, around the perimeter, mosquitoes are poisoned. On the territory there are small shops where you can buy slippers and flippers with a mask, and much cheaper than ours. My wife was shocked by a shop with aromatic oils, again, all this is not expensive, so they stocked up “in full”. Almost all staff speak Russian to varying degrees. Silence at night - just ringing. I slept for 10-11 hours, which I could not afford for many, many years. Despite February, the sun bakes.
The sea is warm - swimming with pleasure. On the territory of the hotel there are 5 pools 0.5 m, 1.0 m, 1.5 m, - 2 pcs. and 1.8 m. In the meter - the water is heated, in the rest the water is still cool. There is a disco and free tennis and billiards, WI-FI - for money. The rooms are poor, but clean, if you want luxury - you are not here.
Summary: Rested - like never before. For me, now the choice is obvious - only SOL Y MAR SEA STAR, such a cuisine from Chef Osama - probably hard to find. Now I know what RELAX is - it's SOL Y MAR SEA STAR.
