Second time in Taba. Last year we rested at the Hilton - nearby. Chose both times because of the proximity to Israel. "Movenpick" is, of course, better than "Hilton". And in terms of territory, and in numbers, and in food, and in relation to the staff. Why the Hilton is more expensive this year is a mystery. The rooms are quite decent, large, plumbing, of course, is old, but according to our first complaint about the leaking shower, everything was eliminated in one fell swoop. The food was decent, of course, it cannot be compared with Turkey, but Egypt has its own specifics. They didn't go hungry. Sweet table - just a song, hard to break away. The variety of fruits is not enough, a couple of times there was a watermelon, the same number of grapes. Melons, apples, bananas, dates - all the time. Melon is not very tasty. When we arrived, the hotel was almost empty, no one on the beach, foreigners, as always, by the pool. Later they "came in large numbers" from fraternal Ukraine - and the peace ended. A lot of Israelis and Arabs come for the weekend. The guys are noisy, so annoying. The beach at the hotel is large, more or less clean, there were no problems with places. Animation for C grade, but we did not need it. Good juices only in lobby - other yuppie bars. Alcohol, for my taste, is disgusting, but people used it. In general, the impression of the hotel is not bad, but I got the impression that someone built and gave this hotel to them (the Egyptians). They can’t really operate it, if something breaks, they fix it for several days (our shower turned out to be an exception) and not always successfully. The vegetation is looked after somehow, in general, there could be more order. Separate respect to the administrator Marina - a very sweet and pleasant girl.
