Very nice hotel, pleasant stay and good impressions. Just choose a direct flight to Taba. The airport is small but enough for us.
1. The sea is cool. Probably the best coast. Convenient access to the sea. Sand and pebble bottom. Immediately deep. You can even go without slippers. But slippers are definitely better.
2. The beach is sandy. Chaise lounges white plastic on a beach and wooden at the pool. The length of the beach is about 500 m. Sun loungers on the beach are sometimes not enough for tourists. And you need to borrow from 6-7 in the morning. But there is always free space near the pool.
2. The hotel is relatively new, built in 2006. Clean, neat. They clean well, change linen and towels. Friendly. Especially if you know a couple of words in English and do not forget to tip.
3. The territory is small, green, lawns, palm trees, a pond with ducks.

4. Nutrition. 1 main restaurant is all inclusive. 2 more on order. The food is good and tasty. Every day of the week they present the cuisine of a particular country: Arabic cuisine, English, Italian. . . Although the main set of dishes was the same, there were also special dishes. A lot of greens, vegetables, fruits, meat and fish, various sweets. A couple of times, however, the meat (veal) was tough. But I chose chicken and fish. Do not take juices - this is a solid chemistry. Their tea is also weak - the local version of Lipton is not very good. Coffee and cappuccino is normal only in the bar on the beach.
5. Animation. Many animators, the guys are trying. People are entertained all day: oriental dances, aqua aerobics, gymnastics, darts, and a disco in the evening. But it's more for couples. For young people, it may not be so diverse. Although I had enough.
6. Excursions. Of course, the Movenpick Hotel is good because it is very convenient to travel from it on excursions both to Israel and Jordan. We walked about 700 meters to the border with Israel. We crossed the border very quickly, in just 1 hour (I went to Israel from Egypt 4 times, it was the easiest crossing. It used to be 4 hours). Jerusalem is an extraordinary city, a lot of pleasant impressions, every time you experience reverence for the holy places. We were in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (it is better and cheaper to buy icons in the church and apply them to the coffin. The cost is from 0.5 to 70 dollars. Although the guide insists to buy only in the store in the center, and it is very expensive there), in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (the icons that are attached to the tomb of the Lord, according to Eastern custom, are already considered consecrated), a sightseeing tour and lunch. In the temple, we kissed the shrines. But it is possible and necessary to submit notes about the health and repose of loved ones to Orthodox Greek priests in the temple. The guide did not say, but we found it ourselves. But in general, Valery is well done. We bought creams with minerals at the Dead Sea, and on the way back to duty free on the Israel-Egypt border. In the "duty free" selection, I think, is better and the prices are lower.
- Minuses. If you arrived at the Movenpick Hotel early in the morning, then remember that according to the rules, check-in is only from 14.00. They will only let you in if there are rooms available. $10 won't help. We stayed in the lobby for 3 hours and were very tired. But we were kindly put on bracelets at the reception, offered to sit in the lobby bar and drink for joy. When booking an excursion, guides Alexander and Dana (Pegas Tourist) "forgot" to say that after crossing the border with Israel, your passports will be taken away from you. And you will ride like a dumb herd. It is clear that our people use these trips not only for sightseeing. But then let them filter: who is given a group visa. Previously, when buying a tour, we indicated in the questionnaire which countries we visited earlier, which visas we have in our passports. And they drove fine. Otherwise, there are no complaints about the guys. They work clearly, but here they just do what they are told.

In Egypt already 8 times. I think we would go back to Movenpick.
