HOTEL. Drive from the airport at least 3 hours. We traveled in a bus with air conditioning - 2 people. Beauty! We arrived at 10:00. Although the check-in time was 15:00, they settled almost immediately - at 10:30. And without any requests for a room with a sea view. At the reception they give the schedule of restaurants in Russian. The staff is attentive and smiling. When I couldn’t get into the room (something with a card), the employee ran straight away to replace me quickly. Several pools, one of them with sea water. At the top of the artificial slide is a jacuzzi. Along the three nearby hotels there is a path - two kilometers for walking near the sea. Well equipped playground for children. The area is constantly being cleaned. There are often mass races of Jordanians, which are fun to watch.
ROOM. Very comfortable and beautiful room. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail for the convenience of vacationers. For the first time, there was not a single comment about the number. Conveniently located furniture, air conditioning. Advanced safe. Everything is at hand in the bathroom. There is a hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, body cream. In the room there is a kettle with a set of tea / coffee, a refrigerator, 1-2 bottles of water daily

NUTRITION. Breakfast 6:30-10:00, second breakfast 10:00-13:00, lunch 13:00-15:00, snacks and ice cream 15:00-17:00, dinner 18:30-22:00. The restaurant has a large selection of dishes, salads, sweets, drinks. Everything is fresh. I took out a glass of wine from the restaurant to the street (to smoke), the manager at the entrance first made a remark: “Madame, you can’t, ” and then, smiling, pulled out a disposable cup, poured the wine and handed it to me. Everything is provided! ))) Snacks at the beach bar - french fries, a bun with a slice of cutlets, drinks, ice cream.
BEACH. Safety shoes are a must! If you walk 10 m to the right of the pier, then there is a sandy entry. Good for kids. But all the same, at the waist-deep depth, there are pebbles / corals that can cause problems. I saw how an Arab woman was taken out of the water with an injured leg. I don’t know what happened, but a man was walking nearby, also with a bloody leg. And then the hotel staff pulled something out of his leg. I didn't take corals this time. I had to go into the water very carefully, which did not bring pleasure.
The beach is being removed. It's not the fault of the hotel staff that vacationers (mostly Jordanians) have time to litter faster. Repeatedly saw the boy walking and picking cigarette butts out of the sand. Sunbeds are always full.
SEA. In October, the water temperature is 25-26 degrees. Often waves. Swimming without a mask is almost impossible - either shallow or reefs (only pools). Swimming with a mask (snorkeling) is best from 7:00 to 8:00 and from 15:00-16:00. That is, there is very little time for swimming. The rest of the time there are very strong waves. Necessarily flippers, because between the coral islands the waves clog so much that it is difficult to swim. Even the men wore vests. Of course, this is not Marsa Alam, but it was also something to see. Near the pier of the hotel live a very large parrot and Haileen broomtail (probably 80 centimeters) have never seen such big ones. And heilin should generally be no more than 50 cm, but here the giant is simple. I saw a small white moray eel and a large barracuda (1 m each), a magnificent octopus, a slate hedgehog. Full of lionfish and other living creatures. Once an imperial angel appeared. Corals are almost all dead. It is very difficult to take pictures and shoot videos because of the waves. I went to the pier of the hotel Hayat (go left 3-5 minutes). The first time was dumb alone. And then I got used to it. The corals are more beautiful there. More fish. But near Sofitel, the specimens are more interesting.

EXCURSION TO ISRAEL. A tour to Israel costs 2 times more than Egypt. And enough sins have accumulated))) Therefore, I had to go to the Holy places through Egypt. I ordered via the Internet in Kyiv - 75 dollars (Dead Sea, (lunch), Bethlehem, Jerusalem). The hotel is $100. In another - 130 dollars. And they were all on the same bus.
The bus picks up from the hotel at 23-24:00 at night.
Get ready for the next one. Israeli customs officials are rampant. We waited 9 hours. From the previous bus, 4 people were sent back to the hotel (the road is at their own expense. Only 67% of the tour cost is returned). From the next bus, 10 people were sent to hotels. They can watch all records in phones / tablets, everything in bags, etc. They ask a lot of wild questions. Due to the long standing at the customs, the excursion program is crumpled. But still - IT'S WORTH IT!
First - the Dead Sea - buzz. Air 38 degrees, water 33 degrees. She flew out of the water in a minute and ran to bathe - everything stinged so much. The second run - 10 minutes - stinged a little. The third run - 10 minutes - everything is fine. The skin after the sea is tender like a baby's. Be careful not to splash into eyes or rub your eyes with your hands. A lot of good cosmetics and perfumes in the shop. After the Dead Sea, lunch in a cafe in the Jericho Valley. DEFINITELY buy dates from this cafe - great quality due to the nature of the valley. There are no such places anywhere else. 1 kg - 8 dollars. All the same, after all, you need to buy gifts, so it’s better to take dates.
At the entrance to the Temples - there must be PANTS / SKIRT BELOW THE KNEE, SHOULDERS CLOSED, A SMALL CUT. Otherwise, the monks can lead out of the Temple. At the hotel, prepare notes - “For health”, “For peace”, for the Wailing Wall. There will be no time to write on excursions. In the Church of the Nativity of Christ - 2 notes with 10 names - 5 dollars. There are also special candles for the sick.
We arrived back at the hotel at 2 am. That is, take care of the food with you or in the room. Lunchbox is not enough. I took vacuum-packed cuts from Kyiv and buns from a restaurant.
Sofitel is great. And if you want to visit Israel, then only Sofitel.
