I was with my husband at Hyatt Regency Taba from March 7 to March 14. Very satisfied with the rest.
I will not write about a large and very beautiful territory - enough has been written without me, and this is true.
The service is very good, the staff is polite, they will say “Thank you” for baksheesh, but even without it they will do everything they need. Someone wrote that he waited 20 minutes for a beer. Maybe because we only drank juices, they brought them to us very quickly.
Food - no words - everything is in the best possible way. Lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. The beef is really tough. I quickly found a way out: I began to take sausages or fish. In general, if you want to find fault, then, probably, there is something. And if you tune in to rest, then this is a very good place for a QUIET rest. Brothers Slavs, however, there, as a rule, they differ in somewhat noisier behavior, but this is to each his own.
I want to share my personal experience about excursions.

Mount Moses (Sinai). Departure - after 23.00. It takes about an hour or a little more to get there. It is good to have a flashlight with you (we were given 1 for four). We must be prepared for the fact that this is a rather difficult climb in the dark. The height of the mountain is 2.285 m. You have to walk about 6 km. The higher, the colder. When we climbed, there was a very strong wind. The ascent is made by people from all over the world. We met Russians, Poles, Americans, Nigerians, Koreans. . . Bedouins follow you all the way and beg: take a camel. Many use them for climbing, but, personally, my opinion is that if you are not weak, at least once you should do it with your own feet. Moreover, I think there are few of these who will climb there for the second time (but I have seen such). Well, shoes, of course, should be comfortable - optimally - sneakers. The descent is no less difficult, and almost as long. After the descent, the program also includes the monastery of St. Catherine. Only we did not get there - it was the first day of Great Lent, and the monastery was closed for 3 days. But, according to the sensations, we would hardly have taken everything as it should be - we were already very tired. We'd better go separately to the monastery sometime next time. On the top of the mountain you can buy alabaster ($1) or onyx ($5) Easter eggs, painted stones called “Tears of Moses”, beads, etc.
Excursion to Jerusalem was already included in our tour. We paid only for an Israeli visa - 42 dollars. A full tour from Taba costs $199 with a visa. Departure - 23.00. The border with Israel is about 40 minutes away (the Hilton hotel is right on the border). We got a visa pretty quickly, then - about 3 hours to the Dead Sea. There - a cosmetics store, then - about an hour to Jerusalem. After the observation deck overlooking the Eternal City, we were taken on another bus to Bethlehem, which belongs to Palestine. There is the Church of the Nativity of Christ and a shop with Russian-speaking sellers (and the goods are much more expensive than in Jerusalem itself). Next - lunch and a walking tour of Jerusalem: the Wailing Wall, narrow streets with merchants, where they are not allowed to stop, supposedly because they don’t get lost (but we understood - because so as not to be indignant - everything is many times cheaper there than in that store , where we were brought), Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Our group was not taken to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary - sorry! - but the guide said that this was not provided, although another group was taken there. Impressions are very strong. On the way back, we swam in the Dead Sea, arrived, crossed the border, and were at the hotel at exactly 23.00, i. е. the trip lasted a day. According to observations, it’s probably not worth taking children under the age of 8-9 to Israel - it’s hard for them. And so - very cool. If I get a chance, I will definitely go again. And if for 2 days - it would be even better - more time, less crumpled.
Glad if someone helped to decide, tk. other people's reviews helped me at the time. Happy holidays!
