I stayed at the hotel 3 years ago. The hotel is 7 km from the Israeli border in a deserted place, i. e. there are no other hotels nearby. At that time it was called "Salah el Deen Taba". The area was not well cleaned, the rooms too. The food is rather mediocre, there is only 1 souvenir boutique on the territory with a small assortment of goods, which, however, cost more than in neighboring hotels. The sea is shallow, the bottom is uncleaned, so it is better not to enter without beach slippers. On the very first day, I seriously injured my legs on corals and sea urchins. This applies to the hotel itself and the matter is fixable. What's good - the hotel stands on a very interesting place - right in front of the beautiful island of the Pharaohs (it's a pity that there were no excursions to it during my vacation). From the windows of the hotel you can simultaneously see 3 countries: opposite, on the opposite shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, Saudi Arabia, a little to the left - Jordan, and the Israeli city of Eilat is also visible. The place is unique. For this alone it is worth visiting. I hope that the hotel under the new name has become better!
