This hotel was our 8th hotel in Egypt. In general, we were satisfied with the choice of the hotel this time.
I'll start with my arrival. Only our family came to this hotel from our plane. We were at the hotel around 10 am, the room was given within 5 minutes, during the same time the waiter managed to bring wonderful cocktails with guava juice. No surcharges for early settlement, for the best room - everything is fast and efficient.
The rooms are definitely old. The tile is 10 years old in the bathroom, the shower does not work well, but this does not greatly interfere with rest. The air conditioner broke a couple of times, after contacting the reception, the master came in 5 minutes, there was no red tape, as in other hotels. The TV is old, but we turned it on a couple of times.
A big plus is the presence in the room of a roomy safe, which can fit a 15-inch laptop.
Bed linen is white and towels are changed every day. Towels, both in the room and beach, clean and not washed.

The territory is average, green, but it seemed to me that they do not have enough water for irrigation. Everything is dry. The downside is the poor lighting of the territory, it is not very convenient to walk in the evening. To the right and left of the hotel are wastelands with frozen construction. It's impossible to go anywhere. There are shops only on the territory of the hotel, there is no choice in them. The hotel provides free trips to Taba Heigst on Tuesdays and Fridays by appointment at reception. We were able to sign up only for the 3rd trip, but we didn’t see anything particularly interesting there, it’s not Naama Bay or the Old Market in Sharm, and the prices for the souvenirs we bought there are 3-5 times higher compared to Sharm.
Weather. In the morning -32-34, in the afternoon 37-38. Dry, hot. Near the sea under umbrellas is quite tolerable. They didn’t burn out with sunscreen even once, on the eighth day I went out without it (I decided that I was already tanned) and immediately burned.
Sea. This is certainly not Charm with its corals. Half-dead coral stretches along the shore with very few fish. There are several coral islands in the sea at a depth (opposite the pontoon and to the left at the end of the beach). But the main attraction of the hotel is the turtles!! ! I met them almost every time. They graze on the grass to the right of the pontoon 50 meters to the right and into the sea. The disadvantages include the beach - entry into the water. There is one entrance on the right at the end of the beach, a little cleared of stones, and a pontoon. But the pontoon without a ladder to get out of the water and at the end of the rest part of the pontoon broke and it was closed. The beach itself is 1/10 full. Sunbeds are always free. Leaving for lunch, they always left their things and towels on the beach, in this hotel one feels some kind of regularity, calmness. Since there are not very many vacationers, after a couple of days you already know many guests, who is from which country, and many greet each other in their native languages.
Restaurant. Only one half of the restaurant is open because the hotel is 20-30 percent full. Among vacationers, the majority are Italians, French, Germans. Russian-speaking percent 30-40. The food at the hotel is basically identical to any other in Egypt. Some dishes are better cooked here, some are worse. Breakfast is standard for all hotels, but they don’t know how to fry pancakes in this one, some kind of oak ones are obtained. For lunch and dinner, a couple of soups, sometimes tasty and original, sometimes heavily peppered. The meat is most often not very tasty cooked, with the exception of the grill on Wednesdays - wonderful. Although each dinner is themed, I did not feel any noticeable difference. There is always chicken and beef, fish - several types of cooking. Fruits - watermelons, melons, dates, apples, oranges, grapefruits. Wine in Egypt is not of very good quality, I can’t say for other alcoholic drinks, I didn’t drink. On the beach in the bar there are packaged juices - mango and guava, near the pool in the bar - ice cream, vanilla and chocolate, very tasty, similar to natural without palm and vegetable fats.

Often there is a shortage of clean dishes or cups in the restaurant, but the waiters work quickly, are very friendly and benevolent, which brightens up possible shortcomings.
The hotel has a team of animators from Italy, very nice and nice guys who communicate, including in Russian. Evening performances are hosted by them. It is felt that the hotel is very concerned about the maximum attention to the guests. For dinner, waiters in a restaurant in white shirts, bow ties, white gloves. Wine, beer, tea, coffee are brought to everyone, just ask, and not as they write in some hotels, only for Europeans for a tip. Beachboy when issuing towels will take you wherever you want, put sunbeds and cover them. And all this without any baksheesh. Every evening, managers conduct briefings in the restaurant for staff, and after dinner, too. Those. managers try to make the stay at the hotel as comfortable as possible for vacationers. I will give the hotel the highest rating for the service!
We were satisfied with the choice of the hotel and the service it provided us. If you want a relaxing holiday, good attention from the staff and service, or are planning trips to Israel and Jordan, then I can recommend this hotel, unless, of course, you are an avid snork fan, and the relative poverty of the Red Sea in this area does not bother you, and moving 2.5-3 hours to the airport will not seem very tiring.
