Taba is a young resort in Egypt. On the coast, construction of new hotels is underway everywhere, but there are about a dozen already functioning ones. Radisson is already 8 years old, so it has a green area, many palms, trees, flowering shrubs. In general, the territory of the hotel is well thought out, landscaped and equipped (Radisson himself on the entrance plate positions himself as a paradise in Taba : )). From any hotel building, it is almost the same to go to the beach, to the pool and to the central building with restaurants. Everywhere there are signs with pointers - how best to get to a particular object. Everything is painted everywhere: from what time, how it works, if for a fee - prices. The rooms are spacious and good. All with cozy balconies. The only negative is that when everyone returns en masse from the beach, the water pressure in the room is not too big and the hot water is not quite boiling water. Our room was cleaned well, but there were also "strange things": when no tip was left, they cleaned just fine and twirled all kinds of beauty out of the bedspreads, put on a bunch of new shampoos, soap, extra towels; and when a tip was left, the cleaning was standard, no frills. I think it depended on the change of cleaners, who are not seen or heard. At first, I felt a very strong specific smell of desalinated water, especially in the evening - when watering was turned on. But over time I got used to it and did not feel it.
In mid-October, apparently the peak of the season, there were a lot of people in the hotel. Even in the morning it was necessary to take places on the beach before breakfast. Sometimes in the evening there was such an influx of people in the main restaurant "Olivo" - there were not enough places that the manager took those who followed the dress code to the paid Italian restaurant "Kukina", for free, of course. Therefore, my husband and I often found ourselves there. And if at first in this restaurant there was food and wine an order of magnitude higher than the general one, then in the future the assortment was no different. The food is not bad, very varied, but they don’t get fish : ). A sufficient number of meat dishes: beef, chicken, lamb; egg dishes; vegetable just the sea: and stews, and salads; pancakes; pasta of all kinds, excellent pastries, cakes, fruits are enough: apples, melons, figs, various citrus fruits and something that I don’t even know the name of. Milk is very tasty and yoghurts, but I added jam to yoghurts, as they are not sweet - we are not used to them. And even if the taste of some dishes is not familiar to us, you can always choose something tasty for yourself (when I got back I got on the scales - I got better : (). National cuisine days are held for dinner every day - the schedule is to the right of the entrance, with colorful costumes of waiters, a choice of dishes. someone's birthday - waiters and cooks noisily crowd with their songs and dances, a cake with candles, knocking on the pots to congratulate the birthday man. Between the pool and the beach - Mirage grill bar, where snacks all day long: fruit and vegetable salads, pastries , pizza, grill snacks, salad bar, ice cream and soft drinks. There are two bars with alcohol during the day - on the beach and by the pool. I did not like the booze, this is a huge minus. The wines are monstrous, gins, whiskey, rum and other strong all from the same alcohol with a specific flavor with the addition of dyes and flavors characteristic of the brand - not otherwise. The only thing I could drink was beer. But so we lacked the usual dry fish : ), at three o'clock we took chi in the grill bar dogs for beer. In the evening, on the second floor of the main building, there is a bar where an Italian sings beautifully in any language. It is pleasant to listen to him and you can dance, watch the beautiful steps of foreigners and drunken races of compatriots. You can sing karaoke with an Italian if you wish. Animators put on a show in the evening, every other day in the amphitheater and near the hookah. I like it. If the animation is in the amphitheater, then the disco is after at the reception, if near the hookah bar on the shore, then the disco is held there in an open area.
Everything is provided for the children, and high chairs in the restaurant, a playground on the beach, a children's pool, a children's disco, a baby sitter is constantly involved with them, paints their faces, dances, in general, the children are happy, it seems to me. Pool - an excellent main pool of two sections - deep, swim, dive and shallow, where teenagers splash, play water polo, aqua aerobics. We always lay by the pool - we didn’t want our feet to be constantly in the sand. Therefore, the whole day we watched the entertainment of animators. In the morning, exercises are carried out, then water polo, volleyball, aqua aerobics on the beach, the animators themselves dance, dress up as clowns, teach belly dancing, and beach football in the evening. The day is busy. On the ground floor of the grill bar there is an excellent gym (take sports shoes), a couple of table tennis tables, tennis courts on the territory, people run cross-country around in the mornings and evenings - there is a marked treadmill. There is also a diving center where you can rent masks, flippers and other ammunition. There are two entrances to the sea, the right one is narrow and you need slippers and gently enter the water over the stones and on the left there is a wide cemented strip from the beach right into the sea sand. There is a coral reef along the beach and a huge coral to the left in the sea - there are a lot of different fish. A lot of Italians and French, in general Europeans. There are also many Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Hungarians, etc.

Tours. Well, of course, Jerusalem and its shrines, the Dead Sea and the pyramids of Giza, the Nile, Cairo - I will not stop - all this must be visited, the only negative is very difficult excursions, since they take a day in time. It is desirable to know English, they do not speak Russian at the reception. And just do Russian more or less know the bartenders on the beach, massage therapists and bartenders in the grill bar. Free Wi-Fi at the reception. Between the restaurants there is a bookcase-library. A big request to compatriots - bring more books in Russian and leave them there, you will be very grateful, otherwise sometimes you will not find a single book in Russian.
Disadvantages. Of course, they were, but, apparently, they were so small that 12 days of vacation flew by in an instant - and this is the surest sign that the vacation was a success.
