To begin with, I went with my parents and all of us very much remembered and liked this trip. We stayed at the beginning of March 2008. We have been preparing for a vacation in Egypt for a long time and now ...apparently the time has come to go there and even celebrate World Women's Day there. We went to Egypt for the first time and therefore we were advised exactly Sharm. (Hurghada is easier).
So the hotel. We chose a five-star hotel with an all-inclusive system. I must say right away that there is no need to be afraid of such hotels, well, in the sense of their prices. The rest cost us about $750 per person, of course, with a flight from Kyiv.
The hotel is called Hilton Sharm Dreams Resort 5 *. I will say to everyone who doubts the choice of a hotel - take it. Located almost in the center of the resort. The central bay is about 10 minutes walk. The rooms are good with large balconies overlooking either the pool or the city. Fed for slaughter, very tasty and varied. The dining room is very large, clean and comfortable.

The dining room is located in the central building of the hotel, near the reception, where you first get when you arrive at this hotel.
This building has access to the hotel grounds. It's already its own story. The territory is simply huge, beautiful, green, a lot of pools (we couldn’t even count in 8 days): heated, and for children, and a jacuzzi, and and and and ...By the way, when we just arrived and went out to the hotel - we gasped, because it is really beautiful and well-groomed, it is 5 *. Check-in from 12 noon. We arrived at 5 in the morning, we were very tired and therefore immediately went to the reception and asked if there were any available rooms to check in and not wait until 12 o'clock. At first we were told that no, but ..... 10 dollars did wonders ...we were settled in the room that we ourselves asked for. (before that, we walked through the hotel and looked at the rooms in which we would like to live).
The hotel is on the second line from the sea, but!
Don't be alarmed, it's about a 5 minute walk through the beautiful park of the neighboring hotel.
Beach. I dare say that the beach of this hotel is the most convenient and beautiful. A bunch of palm trees, awnings, sun loungers, etc. , etc. On the beaches of other hotels it is somehow wild, there are no palm trees, it's boring. Another plus of the beach is that the reefs are available right after 2 meters from the shore, the beauty is incredible!!! ! On the second day of our trip, we went to the beach and, going into the knee-deep water, we felt like in an aquarium, the fish swam around our feet.
On the beach you can take towels on the card, which you will be given upon check-in. You can also buy ice cream and snacks. The only drawback of the hotel and the beach is that an air corridor for airplanes passes right above them, and the noise got out in the first days, but then they got used to it. The thing is that the airport is not far away and the planes in this area are landing. For reference: about 1-2 planes land every 5-7 minutes, and so every day.

Naama bey. As I said, not far from the hotel. This is the central street, where there are a lot of restaurants, discos and shops. Prices are expensive compared to the market outside the city, especially at the beginning.
Market. We went there about 3 times. Everything is cheap there: fruits, souvenirs……. In short, a whole lot. A taxi from the hotel costs about $2 per car, which is pretty democratic.
Yes! Most importantly, BARGAIN everywhere. You see the price and immediately drop it 2-3 times, usually they give way after a short auction.
Tours. We visited the Excursion to Cairo (Pyramids) and to the reserve. Both tours are very interesting. If you are going to Egypt for the first time, be sure to visit the pyramids, this is not to be forgotten. It costs $75 per person. However, it is quite tiring: all night on the bus, all day on your feet. But it's worth it.
In the reserve, you will have the opportunity to swim in salt lakes, dine with the Bedouins. Very cool. It costs me $35.
By the way, do not buy anything during the excursions, everything is much more expensive than on the market!
Buy excursions only at the hotel. You will be satisfied.
A few more tips: those who love to eat - close your eyes when approaching the buffet in the dining room, carefully go into the water on the beach, be sure to take a mask and snorkel from home (you can buy it on the market - $ 15), Be sure to take an excursion to Cairo - you won't regret it, we were shocked both by the city itself and by the pyramids with the sphinx, take about 200 dollars for souvenirs, it's impossible to resist them.

I'm probably tired of you. More information can be obtained from me. I will be glad to answer your questions. By the way, I was also in Turkey and the Czech Republic. For these countries, too, you can ask without fear.
PS: the temperature was about 30-35 degrees, the water was about 23 degrees.
