Arrived during dinner, settled quickly, no money paid. Let's go to dinner. During dinner, I was struck by the lack of clean served tables, the minimum amount of food. But here we must take into account that we got to dinner by 21 pm, and it is better to come to its beginning - at 19.00.

After dinner, we returned to the reception with a request to be moved to another room, closer to the sea. They promised to relocate. They categorically refused money for relocation, just as categorically they said that they would not be relocated this evening (only tomorrow they would give another room).


The next day, the resettlement actually took place. The first room was Family (in Standard voucher) on the first floor. Despite the fact that the Family has four separate rooms, the three of us spent the night in one room, since there is only one air conditioner.
It is striking that Family does not have a balcony at all. From our first room to the sea 25 minutes walk.

The second number was given to Standard. Everything is very old: furniture, household appliances. The air conditioner worked properly, the hair dryer worked tolerably, the safe was repaired three times during our stay (at first it turned out to be closed and we called the master, then all the lights on the safe went out and it was impossible to open it, etc. ) The master always came, diagnosed the malfunction and immediately or not immediately repaired it. It was annoying that during all the master's calls, someone had to be in the room. The safe is opened only in the presence of guests. That's right, only repairs take a lot of vacation time. Other faults in the room did not interfere with our rest. From our second room to the sea 7 minutes walk.

During the rest, the most annoying thing was the lack of a normal beach at the hotel.
What is called a private beach has an uneven bottom of different sizes of cobblestones, you can only go in corals, the maximum depth at the level of buoys is 1 m 20 cm. It is impossible to swim on the Royal Holiday beach. You can wander around and watch the fish, there are a lot of living creatures. Swimming went to the beach of a nearby hotel. This is rather inconvenient, because.
1) you can be placed on sun loungers only on the beach of your hotel;
2) the beach of the neighboring hotel is small in size, and three hotels use the sea. There are too many people in the sea.
In general, the sandy beach of Royal Holiday is something similar to a courtyard through which everyone goes to swim to the neighboring beach.


I did not like the obsession of the guides. At their request, everyone had to come to the info-meeting. Info-meeting is an hour of stories about excursions and 2 minutes when questionnaires for departure are distributed. Then everyone should come for the second time with these questionnaires and passports to the guide, and he starts mumbling back about excursions.
Then he takes the passports, allegedly to check the data of the passport and the questionnaire. Then you must come to the guide for the third time (!!! ) and he will start loading excursions again before returning the passports. We have been resting (Turkey-Egypt) for ten years, for the first time I come across the fact that guides take away passports.
We bought excursions in the office opposite the hotel, they are much cheaper there. During the rest, the guide was contacted once - they exchanged dollars for local currency using an ATM that is at the reception.

I do not recommend staying at the Royal Holiday Hotel. If for some reason you have already purchased tickets:
1) try to immediately agree on a room near the sea at the time of check-in. Based on conversations at the hotel, the price of the issue is 10-50 dollars. But even for money, for some reason, not everyone is settled in rooms close to the sea. Normal numbers end with number 1000. Anything above number 1000 is far from the sea;
2) it is enough to go to the info-meeting with the guides for one person from those indicated in the voucher.
He will take one questionnaire;
3) the problem with the pools. They are all dirty, except for the pool at the restaurant (it is really cleaned). Chlorine is poured into the rest of the pools only late in the evening. In the rest of the pools, almost no one swims.

This website incorrectly lists the size of the hotel. Is it really 17.000 m? . The hotel is huge. It is planned in such a way that the reception, restaurant, beach and a small part of the rooms are on one side of the territory, and all other rooms are on the other side.
