There is no point in overpaying for Parrotel Beach, as they say - the food is the same, the products are the same, the chefs are even the same, the territory is essentially different but very similar, I even liked Aqua Park more.

You don't have to buy a sim card. The hotel has really normal internet and for the whole vacation I didn’t even have to buy a SIM card, which is a big plus. By the way, it works on the beach too! The staff is not bad, they never came across rudeness, no one extorted money, everything is very civilized (compared to Il Mercato, it’s generally super). The first hotel in Egypt where there is a normal coffee machine. The pools are washed and cleaned regularly, for the whole holiday they were not poisoned. The food is - who managed to eat it, but I think everyone will find something to eat. The beach is also normal, the entry is both sandy and a pontoon with reefs (clearly everything is there), there is animation - darts, exercises, zumba, volleyball, there is also a snack bar where they pour local alcohol, beer and even give something to eat (french fries, a piece it is not clear what is 5x5 cm in size (like pizza) and vegetables with fruits of 2-4 types). I can definitely recommend the hotel, a really normal hotel with a price of up to 700-800 dollars for two people per week in the peak season, you will not find anything better.
For those who will be there - get out of the hotel and go to the left for about 5-10 minutes, there will be a George Clooney store - a must-see. Even further away there will be a Flames burger (it seems to be called that) with a red sign - I also recommend visiting, very tasty burgers. Next to the Flames on the left there is an ATM and a store for locals - the prices are fixed and it's the cheapest place to buy anything. If you walk for another 10-15 minutes you will find KFC and MacDoalnds)) And, and most importantly, do not get fooled by taxi drivers.
A ride to the old city will cost about $ 8 or 28 km of the way, which is just how inadequately expensive for Egypt, you can take any minibus (blue small buses) that run every 5 minutes and leave for $ 1 per person, at the same time you will feel the flavor of riding in minibuses Egypt (passes through SOHO, Naamabay, old town), this is the cheapest way to get to all the best places in sharm, just tell me where you need to go before landing - in 90% of cases they will say that they are going to where you need to go because they pass through all major locations.
