In Sharm for the fifth time in hotels from 3 * to 5 *, so there is something to compare. In the Mazar hotel there is no territory at all, and the one that is not well maintained - there are no greenery and flowers. A very poor and miserable hotel, standing in the desert next to a construction site, so they never went to the beach - they went by minibus, which runs very quickly and often. The beach is large and very good: the reef is quite rich, there are many fish, corals are alive, the pontoon is short, next to the beach of an abandoned hotel with beautiful soft sand, to get to it you need to go around the rock by the sea. That's all the pros of this hotel.
Food tasteless, monotonous - rice, pasta and mashed potatoes on the water. So many delicious side dishes can be prepared from these products (I am 64 years old and 53 years old I cook dishes of different peoples of the former USSR), but here the cook does not strain - eat what they give. Meat, poultry and fish are given every day for dinner in a small piece, there are enough salads and vegetables, fruits were also given - you will not be hungry. In addition, it was the first hotel in my life where there were no cakes and sweets, and there was no coffee or tea at the pool bar (no coffee machine! ), They could only be drunk in the dining room in single bags and only one kind.
The hotel is dirty - cleaning is done only at the reception and by the pool, though when I asked the reception to clean the room and change the bed, they did it quickly and very cleanly, though I left a chocolate bar and wrote For you - the staff is not spoiled and the neighbors have chocolate without a note did not take. Mosquitoes and mosquitoes are everywhere in Egypt, but in the Mazar hotel there are especially many of them - neither the fumigator nor spraying from the bottle taken at the reception helps. There were no problems during check-in and check-out.
