We rested in this hotel back in December 2007 (from December 8 to 16), when it was called Iberotel Club Fanara. Composition: 2 adults: rested with my mother.

Check-in / Hotel rooms / Work of guides in the hotel: the number of rooms was outdated. He is in 2007. was in need of renovation. The territory of the hotel is more elongated than wide. My mistake was booking a standard room. Therefore, I want to warn potential buyers of the tour to this hotel.
If you come across standard rooms at the very end of the hotel, in the Residence - they will be small, with terrible air conditioning, they will be located far from the beach, the main restaurant, etc. Thanks to the guide Suleiman (a very competent, good-natured and helpful person), we changed with a surcharge (small) terrible standard room for villa A: two-room (located near the tennis court and is the very first of the villas).

The advantage of this villa: close to everything, but away from the noise and debris, like the rooms in the main building. I advise you to book more from home or a room in the main building (superior with sea view or pool view), or a villa.

Beach: excellent protection of the beach from the winds. During our holiday there was not a single day when it was impossible to swim. But there are also disadvantages: the lack of a toilet on the beach, a steep descent. If you are with a small child, then it will be difficult to climb the stairs. Also, for me personally, the lack of a pontoon was a minus.

Territory of the hotel: well-groomed. The hotel is not so much wide as long. Gardeners are constantly doing something: they clean, water, in a word, they are constantly at work. But after watering, there was often an unpleasant smell.

Food: at that time we went without small children, so you could always find something for adults to eat. But a lot of food was peppery, sometimes burnt. At that time there was a lot of seafood

Receptionist work: at that time it was disgusting.

Conclusion: this was our first holiday in Egypt, in Sharm el-Sheikh. I recommend this hotel to those tourists who rest in Sharm, especially in winter, as the hotel is perfectly protected from the winds in Ras Um El Sid, even despite the shortcomings. You can count on a finger the hotels of Sharm, which can boast the same protection from the winds. We loved the sea and the life there!
