I consider Ras Um Sid Vybor Bay to be the best place for a winter holiday, so the choice fell on Club El Faraana Reef 4. Unfortunately, the Jaz Fanara Resort & Residence 4 * (ex. Iberotel Club Fanara) visited last time is closed, and Reef Oasis Beach Resort 5 is more expensive.
What can I say…. We prepared for the worst - and for bad food, boorish attitude, etc. (based on reviews). But it turned out - drop dead all the way around! For, once again, I am convinced that the positive will save the world)))
Yes, Jaz Fanara is undoubtedly a higher level hotel, but Club El Faraana has such an amazing atmosphere of the East, soulfulness that, most likely, we will return to this hotel again.
So, according to tradition, on the main points:
1. The Join Up carrier upset, the return flight was postponed to an earlier time, and as a result, we flew out later. Lost three hours at sea. We fed boutiques on the plane))
2. Number:
We arrived at the hotel at 07:40, offered to have breakfast, and by about 09:00 we settled in a super-duper room)) The main thing is a good attitude, I repeat again)) notes in decoration. We liked it. Ants were seen, but after a request, they were dealt with. Then the lamp burned out, the sound on the TV disappeared, but all these problems were solved calmly. Special hassle, more than in other hotels, did not deliver.
And, by the way, fumigators will help you - there are a lot of mosquitoes.
3. The territory is an oriental fairy tale! ! Even walking around the territory is a thrill. The design is cooler than Fanare - that's a fact. The presence of a large number of cats is another feature of the hotel. Appearance - well, just sphinxes))
4. Food and drink:
Oh, well, they already scared me in previous reviews, they were almost going to take sausage from Kyiv. As a result, it turned out that the food is delicious, the choice is of course small, but as soon as more people come to the hotel, and if there are also Italians, then they generally try to surprise. Wine and beer are not bad, rum went well in the evening)) And, by the way, the gifts from the dining room are in your hands - there are already a lot of cats on the territory of the hotel)) and what kind of hungry ones - fear.
5. Animation:
The guys are smart - Vika, Giza, Anya, guys (unfortunately, they did not meet by name). Active, fun! Despite the fact that there were only 40 people in the hotel, they did their best! Disco every evening in the Zodiac - music is outrageous! One evening there was a show - oriental dances, tanura dance.
6. Sea - they say the truth, whoever knows the Red Sea is conquered forever. This is dope. Unfortunately, the small number of days of stay and the refreshing water temperature did not allow us to snorkel for as long as we wanted, but we are still happy! Many have heard that this bay (beach, reef) is the best in Sharm. The sea was calm all 7 days. There is a pontoon, but shared, also for paid beach visitors, next to our beach.
7. The beach is huge, music plays (which, by the way, was lacking in Phanar), sandy entry into the sea, very comfortable.
8. Entertainment and other things to do.
The location of the hotel is much cooler than phanar. When leaving the hotel, to the left is a shopping center, a supermarket, cafes; to the right is the entertainment complex Alf Leila Wa Leila (1000 and 1 night). We walked to the Old City, El Merkato, the lighthouse. On the shore there is a hookah establishment Farsha. On the Sadyk rock. Go, you won't regret it.
9. And by tradition, I want to note the people who treated us sincerely and with kindness!
- Henny at the reception - erudite, interested in his work and visitors. Helped many times.
- Angelo the bartender on the beach - smiling and kind.
- Armando is a master of henna tattoos - generally a bomb, an artist and just a great guy!
- Ibrahim is a spa employee. I trusted him with my eyebrows and I am very happy about it)))
- and in general, in this hotel we did not encounter rudeness and bad attitude, I don’t remember the names of some people, but they are great guys.
