Hello! It was the first time in Egypt - there is nothing to compare it with in Egypt. But, from my point of view, Sol Cirene is a good hotel for a not very fastidious tourist. I will describe in order.

1. Settlement. We arrived at the hotel around 18.00. Settled quickly - within 10-15 minutes we were in the room. After reading the reviews, we decided not to offer anything for the settlement. They didn't ask us anything either. We settled in the main building - where the reception is located - in room 5151. At first we were upset - the view of the mountains and the hotel's courtyard. But then they felt that this location also had its advantages - the main restaurant where they ate is also located in this building, and it was very convenient in this regard - they went back and forth less exhausted from food and heat. And we didn’t have time to look out the window or sit on the balcony anyway.

2. Number. The room is fully consistent with the photo posted on the hotel website. The furniture is not new but in good condition. There is air conditioning.
Since it was very hot, we unhooked the card from the key and practically did not turn it off. There is a TV, hair dryer, safe. 4 Russian channels are broadcast on TV: TBN, RTR, P1, and news.

3. Cleaning. Cleaned up every day. We left a tip every other day (1 dollar, 1 euro, or 10 pounds) and we were spun wonderful figurines from towels. Towels and bedding changed, in my opinion, or every other day, or every 3 days.

4. Nutrition. Considering that at home I don’t eat red and black caviar and other pickles every day, I think that the food at the hotel is at a decent level. In the morning there was always yogurt, lots of pastries and hot croissants. In addition, we were fried omelettes and pancakes, which can be sprinkled with chocolate. This is what I usually eat for breakfast. In addition, there was a bunch of all sorts of different things: stewed vegetables, fried sausages, all sorts of pastes or something like that - that could be smeared on bread, salads, vegetables and much more.
For lunch and dinner almost every day something new. The meat was plentiful and well cooked. But only chicken (there were wings fried, stewed in sauce, grilled chicken, etc. ) and beef (roasted and fried like outhouses over an open fire). Side dishes - all kinds of rice with nuts and vegetables and very well cooked. They don't know how to cook potatoes. The fish was often - steamed, fried or in sauce - but only one kind - in my opinion pangasius. In addition, at lunch and dinner, the chef cooked pasta in front of you: very tasty with spaghetti or pasta. There were many fruits: oranges, dates, melon, watermelon, grapefruit, bananas. I ate pastries only a little bit - from puff pastry - delicious. But there were many and varied sweets: a variety of jellies, pastry with creams, etc. Drinks are freely available only in the morning. At lunch and dinner they are carried by the waiter. Yes, we tried to sit both on the left and on the right.

We liked it better on the right - when viewed from the side of the stairs. There the waiters are more friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is somehow better.

5. Sea. To the sea you need to walk about 10 minutes to the territory of the hotel's beach club. But for the lazy, there is always a bus. The entrance to the sea is smooth sand. The sea is shallow 100 meters from the shore. If you swim 100 meters from the pontoon of the hotel, beautiful fish swim there. In addition, for lovers of corals and fish, you can walk 500 meters towards the Baron Hotel and admire the corals and fish there. There is a bar on the beach, which opens at 10 am and is open until 18-00 (pancakes were also fried in it and you could take other sweets for tea). There were enough sun loungers for everyone on the beach. But since we liked to lie near the sea (on the 1st line), I went to the beach before breakfast and took places - at 7 in the morning the beach staff came and occupied the 1st line for Italians (for a fee).
Beach towels are not new, but always clean. There were no problems with this. But since there were rumors that they were being stolen, we tried not to leave them unattended on the beach.

6. Staff. Smiling, friendly. I am a blonde with blue eyes - so I heard a lot of compliments - more than in my entire life before. But no one touched my hands, and if I refused a date with a smile, no one was forcibly imposed. The main thing is not to be rude and smile and they will also treat you kindly.

7. Excursions. Before the trip, in the reviews, I found information about the travel agency Gena and Cheburashka (Sinai Voyage), they are not far away - in Sharm El Sheikh. The next day after arrival, we called them and Gena came, took us to the office, we arranged excursions to Israel ($80 per person) and Cairo ($45 per person) and he took us back to the hotel.

A very pleasant and decent young man: in connection with the trouble with the police, we decided to abandon the trip to Cairo - he brought us back the deposit without question. We were very pleased with the tour to Israel - tiringly scary, but it's worth it. Dead Sea, Jerusalem - it's super. True, not without minuses - they barely managed to buy souvenirs - in Jerusalem the guide drove us - there was no time to stop. On the street candles for 1 dollar. , and we in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher had to buy them for 3 dollars. (the most nimble managed to buy them on the street - but it's dangerous - you can fall behind the group and get lost). And then in Bethlehem she brought us for 40 minutes. to the shopping center, where everything is at crazy prices. But we bought everything on the street in Bethlehem (on the way to the Church of the Nativity and back). Yes, if you are going on this excursion - take travel pillows with you, it is more convenient with them.
I was also glad that I put on long trousers and took a cap and a shawl with me - it was very hot and many were burned in the sun.

8. Souvenirs. There are 3 supermarkets not far from the hotel (near the beach, a little further down the street to the left of the hotel if you stand with your back to it and near the Baron Hotel), but the prices there are not very good. We went for souvenirs to the Old Town (or Old Market). They took a mini bus for 6 dollars for 7 dollars. and back - we returned together in a taxi, which again, after bargaining, cost us 6 dollars. In St. mountains everything is much cheaper - but you have to bargain a lot. When you pretend to leave, they immediately drop the price. But again - with a smile - they respond to the increased tone and rudeness with even greater rudeness - they themselves observed a similar scene.

As for Egypt itself, the Sharm El Sheikh area outside the hotels struck with its poverty and filth - heaps of garbage in the middle of the desert. The territory of the hotels is clean, well-groomed and green. The contrast is incredible.
Well, that seems to be all. Maybe I forgot, ask, I will answer. I am very happy with my stay and would happily return to this hotel.
