We rested in May 2015 in Sharm El Sheikh. Already probably everyone had a chance to visit Egypt, even the janitors. But not my husband and I. We were interested in the resorts of European countries and we did not even consider Egypt. And now the dollar is going through the roof, and for the month of May, holidays in Egypt are cheap and what you need! Chose Crystal Cyrene Hotel 4*. The beach is large, the entrance both from the sea and from the pontoon, corals with fish nearby, right next to the pontoon, butterfly fish flaunt! If you dive early in the morning, you can see an octopus, a sea turtle and even a meter-long stingray! There is a free bus from the hotel to the beach, very convenient, a couple of minutes and you are on the beach. We took a taxi to the Old Market - this is an Arab bazaar with arrogant traders! Exotic for those who like to communicate and bargain. And Naama Bay is a more civilized center of trade: shops, bazaars, restaurants. The Arabs invite to their restaurants, but not so intrusively, and there are more tourists here, and the Egyptians themselves are resting here. Everywhere men work: cook, trade, clean. I was surprised that men also dance in restaurants! There are very few working women. Still surprised, smooth roads, roads illuminated at night, buildings, sculptures - everything that is possible, light is everywhere! And they don't have nuclear power plants! And how do they do it? ! And the plants are watered from hoses, some as thick as bronze and during the day in the very heat. This is not drip irrigation in the evening under every tree in Israel. They also do not save water or electricity. Marvelous! Now about the food at the hotel. We eat little and we had more than enough of everything! Food on a solid 4. Baking in the morning is very tasty! Stewed fish fillet - delicious too! Stewed vegetables, cheese, coffee and more - very good! Many tourists wanted a more varied menu. Didn't like the way the canteen staff looked into our plates! It would be better to control and update those products that are over! It was possible not to pay attention, no one said anything out loud, but still it’s not pleasant to eat under supervision! I also didn’t like that we were required to pay an additional fee for a room of 20 dollars per hour in order to check us in before 14.00. And also at the end of the holiday, after check-out from the room at 12.00, and our plane in the evening, in order to extend our stay in the room, they asked for an additional payment up to 15.00 - 40 dollars! And we were not subdued before leaving, even for the free drinks that our bartender friends brought us, the superior boss scolded us, suspecting that the bartender had lost his vigilance and had already poured tourists without a bracelet !! ! The bartender was already scared, he didn’t understand how it happened, he didn’t even look at the bracelet : ), poor thing, we felt sorry for him, he couldn’t even imagine that a tourist with a bracelet could take drinks for friends without a bracelet !! ! We explained to him, Schaub he understood the scheme of simple mutual assistance : )!! ! But these are trifles, the whole impression is quite good!
